After spading all the 6.7 vehicles in the game, I found the Tortoise to be rather fun and enjoyable. The same could not be said for the Jagdtiger, that one frustrated me beyond belief.
Because mbts get killed frontally and can't fight back because barrel gets broken the second it's fixed without shooting once. Just want to annoy those rats, maybe get skill matters reward.
For me it’s just trial and error, but high pen solid shots like APBCs and APFSDS tend to have a higher chance to go thr stuff than APHE, especially when going through tank corpses and cargo containers
Cheers. what made me ask is that in the Vid, you were shooting through railway bogeys which were always solid and non pennable. I'm not on 24/7 and there can be gaps of a couple of weeks of playtime, yet the rules seem to change often.
For instance - Wooden houses are now non pennable (used to be), yet a cargo container is now pennable (didn't use to be). Really adds to the confusion in games at times.
Solid shot is really the Caveman ideal:
If I throw a really big rock, fast enough all my problems will disappear.
Simplest way of life is the best.
Fact remains, despite all the advancements in chemical rounds... we're still throwing metal really fast to kill armor
Only because people had problems with the funny fission artillery.
That's just throwing spicy rocks even faster.
As a AMX-50 Surbaissé enjoyer, I say it to : blessed be thy solid shot
Using that thing is so satisfying
British engineers gave THE TORTOISE real reverse gears?!

I despise using that thing lol. Ferdinand is much more enjoyable imo
I fuck with the jagdtiger only because thr gun just annihilates anything it dares to touch.
19km/h forward and in-revese makes this behemoth oddly mobile
Because the engine compartment could probably fit a Cromwell inside, when you've got more space available you can fit more gears in the transmission.
Virgin APHE fan VS Chad Solidshot enjoyer
Awesome group of heavy armor VS evil and intimidating Tortoise
This is peak Teutel gameplay
Does nobody watch the kill feed?!?
not really no, why?
Say, hows your tortoise challenge run going ?
418 games, managed to eke out a 6.2 K/D, One more month to go and off to another tank
A reminder that the Tortoise can actually reverse
I still feel like tea tutel accelerates faster on reverse than forwards
Been wondering if all of it's armour is immune to BMP apds rounds, could just annoy those bastards once they inevitably spawn camp...
On paper it can get penned by Russian 30mm APDS shell from behind at very close range, but fr why would you bring it to BMP 2 BR

I'm so confused on what you can and cannot shoot through now. Is there a guide or something out there?
