Also, just let us have them as on calls like specters and Railjack npcs. Hell, let us use THEM as railjack crewmembers too. The triad can walk around the sanctum so there's no problem there and they can probably figure out how to get the hex to the future considering Kaya could do it.
I have complete and utter confidence that the entire point of Kaya Velasco as a character is that it gives DE an excuse for the protoframes in 1999 to, eventually, get out of it. Next time the Drifter takes the focus of an update, presumably in whatever major story update's after Old Peace which I expect will be Operator-focussed again, I fully expect to see at least a few of the Hex come back for it.

While I like the KIM system, I don't really care to dabble with the dating aspect of it, I'm more in it for the lore. But, the relationships as a whole are important to the lore and in fighting the indifference.
These quote are just the devs having some fun with it, and giving the players something to react to.
I do agree that the general playerbase has been going overboard with the focus on sexual things, people will do that shit for games or shows that have zero sexual themes.
