Or rather Hunhows, plural. I was in the dojo, looking at decorations under the sentiment tab and found an alarming note describing a large Hunhow. Is this referring to his fragments, or is it that Hunhow isn't so much him, but rather the class that he is. (Such as battalysts, conculysts, mimics, etc.)? I have played up to and completed The Old Peace. But I took about a year long hiatus after The New War so those details may be foggy.

Eidolons are defined as fragments of a sentient. Vomvalysts and teralysts are all part of the eidolon that died on the plains.
Eidolons we encounter as enemies are fragments of a very specific eidolon that Gara destroyed in a very specific way. Not any fragment of any sentient.
Eidolons are fragments of a "dead"/dying sentient.
Lotus was an Eidolon briefly during the New War.

The Eidolons we see in the plains are all still from a specific sentient. The lotus was put into a similar state due to trauma during the new war. These are both true.
However Hunhow himself was not an eidolon when he created the sol invasion fleet. His fragments are not eidolons either.

I think a good way to describe Eidolons is that they're sentients traumatised to the point they completely forget who they used to be.

Hunhow is one entitiy with many many many fragments he pulls from himself. He’s so big that Uranus may as well have been talor made to be his prison by the orokin. Dude is massive.
The equivalent would be if we were able to remote control individual parts of our cells to preform different tasks. They are all still just Hunhow, just small pieces of him.
I think the flavor text here is just a play on words, that the small rib piece here is of insignificant size to a being as large as Hunhow. Like if a bunch of tiny people harvested a small chunk of the cell wall of a single cell of our bodies.
Hunhow and every one of his fragments (the sentients he sends against us) are part of him.
They are all part of the singular identity that's Hunhow, so the plural is wrong.

I wouldn't say it's a typo(graphical error) so much as a deliberate goof. I often refer to a friend of mine as "an Alice" rather than just Alice. And after all, there might be other sentients out there named Hunhow, I'm certainly not the only Bob in the world!

iirc there are a few scattered mentions of "Hunhow" as a type of sentient or creature from before Hunhow was introduced as a character. this might be one of those.

I've always thought that Hunhow is part of the Hunhullus class seeing how they have similar names and how huge they are. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
Hunhullus seem to be sentient “mechs” given the description of the lyoric bridge, which states that they are piloted rather than them being sentients themselves and are rather human in appearance. Hunhow on the other hand is a full blown terraforming ship.
The names are similar, and likely within the sentients language may have similar roots or parts but outside of that there is no connection between what Hunhow is and what the Hunhullus is, especially since we know that Hunhow — to put it politely — is so FUCK OFF HUGE the orokin had to use an entire planet to imprison his ass and makes even MUREX look like ants.
Yeah, on prelude to war, having just rewatched it, it really looks like hunhow is sieging Lua by himself. granted, it’s a moon, not a planet, but it’s still ridiculous that just one single “ship” is able to siege an entire moon by itself, even if it’s one of the more famous ones it seems, “the great and terrible” hunhow.
I'd say he's a really old Kerulyst that went through countless adaptations over his centuries of life.
When i saw just the picture without the subtext and read sth about a rib, i thought that this was a joke geared towards the marilyn manson rib myth. Now i cant unsee hunhow as some cool kid poser :D
