Wait why the hell does Vauban specifically affect accuracy? Is it something like his Flechette Mines’ projectiles counting as hits when they hit an enemy but NOT counting as misses when they don’t hit anything?
Aye, exactly as I said (and another comment confirmed this apparently) - ONLY the initial throwing of the Flechette Mine itself counts as a “shot”, but every time the flechettes it fires hit an enemy it counts as a “hit”.
My favorite case of this is that (as far as I can tell) Exergis just never counts as a shot, so you can get ridiculously high accuracy just by playing normally, regardless of what frame you brought.
Well, to get that much accuracy you need to first hit an enemy with a bullet from any of your weapon and then use the flechette mines. For some reason each time they hit something it raise your fire accuracy
Why does everyone go straight to Vauban as the fastest way to achieve crazy high accuracy? Any shotgun wired for maximum punch through and multi shot can easily pass 700% without even trying that hard. An explosive Xoris build can make that even higher, again without needing to alter your play style much at all.
Simple Warframe math: one trigger pull results in a cloud of say 10 pellets. If all of those hit because you ran up and point blanked the guy, that's 1000% accuracy out of the gate. If you have punch through and those pellets clip literally anyone behind the first guy it's all gravy. Say you manage to find a group of 4 idiots coming at you in combat formation bravo, you rush up and pump the shotgun straight into the first guy's face. Provided all the pellets connect the whole way through the line, that's 4000% accuracy given the previous 10 pellets scenario.
Vauban?

i'm just throwing a wild guess out there but if the flechette orb counts as a single bullet, the high accuracy makes sense
…that might explain it lmao. You only technically throw a single projectile, but it can hit a bazillion enemies with its secondary projectiles.
The system is probably tracking hits and shots, and certain things can count as hits but not shots.

Wait what lmfao
That’s weird as hell and I’m honestly surprised I never noticed that before given how much I like the Exergis
Unless there's something in my build that somehow breaks it, it just lets you get infinite accuracy right out of the box.
Yep

I'm not sure why it happens but all my Vauban missions have at least 500% when it comes to accuracy.
The one and only
I hope they never fix this. Amazing and ridiculous.
Common symptoms of a Glaive enthusiast
You can achieve that with Glaive?
I did a few yrs back before my hiatus
I was utilizing the manual discharge tactic smth I use with any glaive that isn't xoris

Still have my old accuracy screenshot for posts like this.
You could probably reach million if you let the orb kill around 5,000 enemies.
I certainly trust that you are a Vauban
I remember doing this with a Xoris.
Yeah, it was the most fun activity when I started playing
