There is no paradox. The growth happens on a delay and for a fixed amount of growth. He's either telling the truth and it doesn't grow further. Or he's lying and it grows a fixed amount after the lie is finished being spoken. To create a paradox he'd have to say "My nose is going to grow after this statement." And still his head wouldn't explode. It'd just not grow. And everyone would understand it's a paradox. Also, as another said, predictions aren't lies.Â
