His name is Shadow and he's about 5 months old. Rescued him a month and a half ago and it was the easiest cat introduction I've ever had with my two other resident cats. They all became buddies instantly. I wish he permitted tummy scritches, but I guess we can't have everything!

He is adorable!! I say the same about my girl.. she is the BEST baby ever. She is insanely well behaved, doesn't get into stuff, chew things, hiss/ scratch/bite, she is super careful and gentle when she walks in the TV stand or my desk, she like slips right between any items without touching them or knocking them over lol loves to travel and acclimates to any new situation or surroundings with ZERO fuss. The ONLY thing I wish for soooooooo soooo much is that she would let me hold and snuggle her. 😭😭😭 she's affectionate and lovey and wants to be with me all the time but just doesn't want held, at least not for more than a minute or so. I'm hoping someday she'll decide she wants to be cuddly, but i love her with all of my heart and soul regardless lol 🥹🩷🐈⬛
I just want to say that I used to have a void exactly like you described. His name was Mister (nickname Baby Bear), and he was the kindest, most gentle cat I've ever met. He was friendly to everyone (including all animals) and he loved to lay/sit with me, but HATED being held--the max I ever held him for was about 30 seconds. This started to change as he got older, though, and suddenly I was holding him for 15-30 minutes at a time. Then one day he nuzzled his head in my shoulder, so I just kept holding him and carried him around the apartment as I did stuff. He'd let me know when he wanted down, otherwise he was content being held like a baby several times throughout the day. I never ever expected that from him, so you never know....your girl could be the same way as she gets older!! 😻
Omg that is so sweet!! 🥹🥹🥹 I truly hope she's becomes cuddly like that! It's bad cuz when she first showed up at my house she didn't like to be held then for very long either, but after she got spayed she was very very snuggly and would stand up on her back legs for me to pick her up and hold her. We'd fall asleep together sitting on the couch, i was loving every second of it!! But after about 2 weeks when I assume her hormone levels probably evened out again that was the end of our snuggles. So I've had a taste of that super love and affection from her then but have been dying for it since lol I'M a clingy pet mom so I want my baby to be clingy too hahah
