Will be traveling to Oahu the end of February for our 5 year vow renewal. Looking for a company or persons that can officiate, plan, decorate, and take photos of the ceremony. All the websites ive seen are going for ridiculous prices. If you can help me out let me know. Thank you.
Edit: I understand what you guys are saying but we have a healthy budget. It you want to know, the average rate is 2500 for an hour of shooting and 40 photos. While it does include a little ceremony with an officant, there's not one skilled trade or profession within reason that justifies that kind of money.
That’s a lot of work you’re asking for and Hawaii is an expensive place with a high cost of living.
Why do people treat professional photographers in particular like they’re doing it as a hobby? Why should it be cheap? That’s a lot of work.
They are used to stay at home moms with low end camera gear advertising themselves as pros, I think.
What is your budget?
Ridiculous to you, reasonable to them.
It would be cheaper to do it back home.
