Are you willing to spend a load of time on it? You could pull each of those threads individually to the wrong side of the fabric, at least - that would make it look a bit neater.
I'd try doing it by threading piece of thread under a snag, then threading both ends of the thread into a needle so the snag is trapped in the loop. Insert the needle at one end or another of the snag, and run it between the layers of fabric to come out further away than the lenghth of the snagged thread, and then gently pull the snagged thread using the thread in the needle. When the snag is just pulled to the back, take the needle off the thread and pull one of the ends so that it releases the snag and comes out of the fabric.
