Husband ripped his shirt, annoying frayed L shaped rip but he was happy to just let me figure out any sort of repair, visible repairs is something he likes. Wondering if there is a way to make this more fun ( yes I really should have made a proper grid, I rarely hand sew more likely to make things on the sewing machine than ever repair )
Patch is on the inside
It looks lovely. It needs a grid only if you want a grid. Make your own style. 💜

Got it finished, definitely not perfect but it’s together and stronger
I like it too. It's very pleasant to look at.
I think it's interesting that the stitching is called fashion but the finished work is called boro. And in India it's Kantha
It’s gorgeous, I love it!
This looks gorgeous and I’d be super pleased with it. Your stitches are beautifully staggered so you don’t have the bump-channels that you can get with running stitches. I only go across if I end up with that (which happens because I’m much less careful than you!)
Had to do something while not sleeping, I do find hand sewing really hard and tedious some people have such beautiful lines I can’t sit and line it up perfectly , I’m sure yours looks a Azinf
I handsew while watching TV, and at the moment I’m mostly patching up old pyjamas so I don’t care how they look, and it’s really liberating!
