Looks good. Well done. Be prepared to mend again soon. This type of patch does not last nearly as long as an actual men integrating the fibers below, or “reknitting” the area like a duplicate stitch or similar. Looks super cool though.
My first and last speedweve attempt did not turn out half as well! How did you keep it square?? Just the act of putting it on the disc stretches the fabric and then all bets are off for the shape it ends up when you take off the loom.
What is that little gadget called?
A speedweave or darning loom
i believe it's a knitpatch :)) or maybe something similar
The original brand name I am familiar with is the "Speedweve" misspelling intentional https://www.ministryofmending.co.uk/post/speedweve-faqs-a-quick-rundown-of-vintage-models-1-2
Neat! Can you provide details? I’d like to achieve the same result.
I used multicolored embroidery thread and followed this mending tutorial https://youtu.be/UUa4VBdt7KQ?si=Y4Cor-aBZ9TH3yBL
Thank you!

I pre-drawn it with a heat-erasable pen. you can still faintly see the red lines in the first picture
Thank you for this tip!!
