Yeah they’re a problem. Folks were afraid snakeheads would be a problem but in most waterways the blue cats haven’t let the snakeheads get far out into big water. It’s the crab predation that’s the real problem. Blue cats are snarfing them all down.
They’re edible, but many rivers are so polluted that the catfish aren’t great to eat a lot of. They live in the sediment and being an apex predator pollutants tend to accumulate in their tissue. They just need to be culled.

Meh. KILL THEM ALL AND REPLACE THEM WITH EDIBLE CATFISH. :)
