Real talk: I've been deep in the vibe coding rabbit hole for months. Lovable, Claude Code, the whole stack. Building has never been faster.
And that's... kind of the problem?
When I could barely code, I had to talk to users because I couldn't just "quickly add" features. Now that AI lets me ship anything in a weekend, I keep telling myself "let me just polish the onboarding first" or "one more feature and THEN I'll do proper validation."
Spoiler: I never did proper validation.
I wrote up my whole spiral into this trap and what I'm trying differently now. Basically treating Lean Startup principles as non-negotiable guardrails instead of "nice to have when I have time."

Curious if anyone else has caught themselves doing this? The irony of having MORE building power but LESS validation discipline is wild.
Yeah, that feature creep trap hits hard when building gets too easy. What guardrails are you setting up now to force validation before adding more?
The feature creep trap is real. My guardrail now: no code until I've talked to at least 5 potential users (using The Mom Test approach) and see real signup intent - people actually clicking "get early access", not just saying "sounds cool." That's exactly why I'm building PathForge - to help vibe coders like me stop hiding behind the keyboard and face real users.
AI removes implementation cost, so validation has to become a deliberate system instead of a natural checkpoint. You sould share it in VibeCodersNest too
Exactly. When building is free, validation becomes the real work.
