Edit: and I just noticed that moira, one of the few heroes who can easily avoid the ult entirely with fade, yet chose to stand there doing nothing, is the one complaining about vendetta.
You’re playing into a perfect comp of people who can’t stop your ult lmao, and Doom just stood there. Nice play but let’s not act like it wasn’t a perfect storm of things in your favor
I would say that in my first "I'm a Vendetta main" match, I just went 49-5.
The things I've learned that work for her is:
Dive only heroes who are squishy or are already medium-to-low health.
Always engage from BEHIND the enemy support line. Attacking supports from behind is critical to success.
Know who your melee heroes are and learn to block them.
Incorporate throwing air slices into your swings. You're more likely to lose a fight if you don't.
Don't be afraid to bail (don't hang around too long).
Always attack from flank positions. Never head-on.
Always use the ult from behind the enemy team.
Never 1v1 Reinhardt.
Keep moving. Never stay in one place too long.
Always be aggressive. Defense is a strategic last resort.
Don't ult too high (travel time takes too long), but also don't ult too low.
Don't initiate with overhead slice until the absolute last second. You may commit to a drop but your enemy may change position. Force a hit, not a miss.
Iv been trying to get a three k with her ult since she came out idk why it’s so hard but everytime I try to ult they are all inside places I can’t hit from the sky and only manage to get one person. I just want to cute spray 🥲. I managed to get a 4 k when she first came out I don’t think I’ll be able to do that again
Wait for you tank to go in and cause a distraction alone. That’s how I got my spray. My Winston hopped into them and herded them together and I flew into the sky with my ult at the same time.
I’ll keep an eye out for it but I very rarely get Winston’s on my team. Iv had a few balls, divas, and dooms, but it’s mostly hogs, muagas, rams and reins that I get paired with. When they go in and I use ult (usually from above and behind the enemy team) they just scatter to cover, alotta people have figured out walls ar your best friends when she ults
You have to look for an opportunity when there is no cover or try to combo with Rein Shatter or Zarya Grav. I did mine on Colosseo where the enemy spawn was. So there was a lot of open space and no time to find cover.
Yeah that’s how iv been feeling about her she just like cass that her ult is only good for isolation. However Eva’s bomb is really good at taking out whole teams whith the right angle.
Polo bombs usually work for me and my friend but yeah it doesn’t work all the time. Actually I might have my friend try sym tp and I vendetta ult through tp.
But you honestly did make a nice play on the ult. The BS part of Vendetta only came afterwards, but not even that horrid, they folded like a lawn chair.

it's like high noon and d.va bomb; they were op when they came out but are now just solo kill ults or zoning ults
similar with vendetta, except she can much more reliably get solo or duo kills

I rarely see team wipes with bomb when I play cause everyone scatters to cover the moment they even hear the voice line
