Honestly this is a slap on the wrist at best it only changes break points for 225 hp targets and barely.
Especially considering passive this really doesnt matter.

My other two mains - Genji and Freja, are getting brain dead changes and all developer logic is “lmao get fcked”. At least here I can hope for reasonable nerfs and changes in the future.
Genji nerfs are great imo. Makes him harder to play, which means that its not unlikely that we see some buffs that make him stronger, but no easy to play in the future.
All this does is break the 225 breakpoint which means nothing because they'll likely be chipped by your abilities when you initiate anyway. Those midseason nerfs will probably sting more.
In my opinion they should have lowed the damage of the vertical slash instead... but I don't personally play Vendetta so I don't think if that wuold hurt too much the character
Reaper main tourist here. I would honestly prefer if they kept all the numbers the same and just made the audio feedback a lot better. She's very quiet and it's a bit hard to tell when I'm being hit by her.
I don't get how y'all don't see this as a bigger nerf. This is like the difference ana hitting 70 versus 75 with each of her poison darts. It completely changes how fast you're able to kill somebody, especially with how slow vendettas recovery time is.
I imagine they’ll probably slow her down a little bit by increasing her sword throw cooldown, idk about you guys but that cool down is heinously short for her having two entry/exit abilities, I’m almost certainly expecting an ult nerf, likely to how fast she is A.) what made her OP was the two rapidly concutive buffs to her animation speeds, downtimes and the lifesteal perk yet they nerf the one numerical part of her kit which was honestly perfectly fine instead of at least reducing the overhead swing to 120. sigh.

Despite win rates, Ashe is actually a very very strong character. She can thrive without a pocket and she dominates with one. It is a lot harder to counter an Ashe or Sojurn than it is the average dive character. Vendetta when you focus her as she dives falls over like a straw house.
Completely agree for the most part, however I’m a masters 2 player, and I struggle heavily against a Vendetta in my rank. She’s way too fricken strong. Takes zero damage when she’s shielding, and the movement is off the charts sometimes.

Or since the cd on your sword throw is so low, in 3 seconds or so, I’m dead anyway, but that’s disregarding the insane damage each sword swing does basically 2 shotting me because somehow every swing counts as a headshot.

When she is out of escape options does your team regularly not kill her when she is fighting you?
This is the same argument people had about lock-on Symmetra. She has to be so incredibly close to do anything you kind of have to take some responsibility if you die.
It's the same cute argument against DPS Doomfist who died at any CC.
Then she's used both of her escape CDs and is as good as dead. That is, if you're positioning in a spot where your team would be able to quickly follow-up on your death or even peel for you before then.
That’s fair, but by then she’s in my face and more likely than not, I’m dying even if my team jumps her. It happens repeatedly.
Also, as an Ashe player usually I’m on off angles, and my team isn’t always aware. It’s just a fact. Doesn’t matter what rank you’re in, most of the time someone on your team is a bot.
Vendetta is strong I won't deny, and I wont be surprised when she gets nerfed hard in midseason. Only advice I really have is trying to coach gun back towards your team, make it as unsafe as possible for her to chase. That's when I usually have to give up as a Vendetta main. Her block is annoying but goes down quicker than you expect, especially with the blast from dynamite (and she cant block the burn damage either)

Keep in mind this change wasnt even in the patch notes 4 hours ago i only found out because Aaron Keller mentioned it on stream.
He said theres more nerfs coming with the mid season patch for vendetta and a couple more characters.
Well we get to enjoy normal vendetta for a while longer till they nerf the wrong thing as they always do.

That's more a problem of their kits, not their numbers.
Yeah, Mercy Rez and damage boost has always been problematic throughout Mercy's time in the game.

Remove her ability to deal critical headshots with the overhead swings and I guarantee you her win rate will plummet. It’s too insane.

blizzard used to reserve 225HP on certain mobile heroes, now more than half of them are on 225HP
this change is so that 225HP can survive the basic combo because 225HP represents majority of the hero rosters
