Her winrate is ridiculous right now. She's a menace in lowrank solo queue as a pubstomper and when you get to higher ranks, she isn't as much of a solo stomper but coordinate play with your team makes her an absolute menace.
My DPS usually hovers around the mid-diamonds but I've been onetricking her and now I'm hovering around Masters 5-3.
I do think they should give her way more audio feedback for enemies to catch her on her dives more reliably before they consider some number nerfs though. The feedback on her is oddly absent. You can't hear her coming like you can with reaper, and you don't feel her slashes like you do with Rein/Brig. It's only when you've had 200 hp chunked that you can feel "Oh, Ven is attacking me".
Though to be blunt those probably wont be enough and they'll likely nerf some of her numbers. If I had to guess, her overhead slash.
It has the most range & is extremely forgiving. Along with the fact that it's a guaranteed crit.....more guaranteed then someone who has to land a fkin head shot.☠️
So the way you nerf it....is Nerf the damage or the range.
I think fixing audio will help a ton. The other knob they could turn is slightly lowering overhead damage and buffing normal swings or if they want to keep the damage as is the tuning the overhead hitbox down just a smidge since it really doesn't feel that hard to hit and my aim is mid at best....
I haven't is it bad? I am usually dragging my reticle across them as the downswing happens so it may have something to do to lingering hitbox that is making it more forgiving for me
She's got the same problem that black panther has in Rivals and it's that she's too fast. They gotta slow her down to make her easier to hit when she's using her cooldowns.

It's DPS Doom all over again. Very easily counterable, but very frustrating in solo q or low ranks where people lack situational awareness. People will always rather ban heroes that are unfun to play against over ones that are actually broken. Be prepared for turbulent balance, and her eventually being reworked into a less fun tank at some point.

The only thing that really bothers me about Vendetta is how she completely obliterates Brigitte. I'm low key surprised that Brig didn't get a bit of a buff at the start of this season with Vendetta's release. I play a lot of Brig and Vendetta is absolutely miserable to play against for me. Even if I boop her with Whipshot, 180 and charge away, she can cover that distance with one sword throw and I'm toast. It is really annoying.

Secondly, Vendetta’s doing good in high ranks and into a meta that she should be getting stomped against so you talking about not having problems or not having your team “clapped” by her means you either haven’t played in a game with her due to her being banned or you’re actually the low elo support because I can assure you, the objective reality is that she’s “clapping” teams all up and down the ladder when she isn’t banned.
It’s also funny you talk about “just hit your shots” when you’re trying to defend a highly mobile, MELEE character. Yeah, that’s the problem, other characters have to hit their shots, at least when Tracer is clapping the backline, you know she’s hitting her shots.
I’m not miserable but a lot of Vendetta players will be when they have to actually think instead of getting into the backline and getting a free trade at worst. Just like Freja players who were upset they had to land more than two bodyshots from across the map to kill people.

I just started comp, only in Bronze 1. But, if my team doesn’t choose to ban her, the enemy team does. When she isn’t banned, it’s usually because of the map we’re on. I’d say she’s banned every 3/5 games.
There’s still a chance to play her, but if you want to consistently play her, then I’d go to qp for that.
I’m very scared they will nerf thr wrong things or change so many numbers she becomes something different than what was she advertised as.
I hope they do small nerfs and changes over the coming weeks instead of one flat nerf that guts her.

it’s not just “the odds are stronger”, the fact that she’s a dive character, and one that could actually harm supports are deciding factor why she got banned, i’m pretty sure, it was exactly the same with Tracer and Sombra (you could argue that Tracer was strong overall, but definitely it’s not the case with Sombra)
there is a characters like Bastion, Sojourn, Ashe, Kiriko, Ana, who is really overtuned but, since they not dive it’s whatever, supports basically are the one’s who decide a bans, so obviously they gonna ban those characters who’s hard to play against (Freja was exception but she was brokenly op)
It’s the logical choice, she is very powerful against squishies and tanks alike. Her basic three swing combo flat out kills a full health 225hp. You don’t even need that much aim to pull it off! Add a melee and you can add every 250hp character. Her healthpool and movement means that you can’t just chase her away with a few shots either, you need to put out a decent amount of damage before she has reason to back off.
I played as rein today and her spin attack actually double stunned me out of my pin, it isn’t even represented like a powerful charge forward like brig or doom.
Tanks are made to survive some stray damage, but melee (and therefore her devastating primary) cuts through shields and matrixes, leaving most tanks defenseless. You’re forced to immediately switch targets, get out or get obliterated. Kind of like what sombra does to non-tanks.
It’s like they gave reaper more damage, more health, an easier to hit primary, the ability to ignore shields and matrixes, and then tried to ‘balance’ it by making his abilities slightly shittier. Except they aren’t really shittier, because soaring slice gives her a free overhead and becomes available again after her primary attack sequence, and her spin attack can double stun charges
incase vendetta "mains" r lost why , she can chase wrecking ball around the map. her hitbox is incredibly small she has 2 movement abilities that BOTH also do damage. her ult doesnt show until the last minute . she can BLOCK A DVA BOMB. she doesnt "punish isolated people" ive watched her plow through an entire team. she hardly has any hard counters and then they gave her a buff. EVERY 3RD SHOT SHE DOES IS AN INSTANT CRIT. EVERYONE ELSE IN THE GAME HAS TO CRIT BY THEMSELVES

Her Overhead Smash is the part of the kit that feels the most skill based, so I hope that isn't the part they decide to nerf first.

It's a different mechanic that we never had before (DPS side). It's also a dive character... That character is a hit or miss depending on the player

Vendetta punishes isolated targets or lack of communication heavily.
And that happens at low ranks or when people are just not in comms.

it’s not just “the odds are stronger”, the fact that she’s a dive character, and one that could actually harm supports are deciding factor why she got banned, i’m pretty sure, it was exactly the same with Tracer and Sombra (you could argue that Tracer was strong overall, but definitely it’s not the case with Sombra)
there is a characters like Bastion, Sojourn, Ashe, Kiriko, Ana, who is really overtuned but, since they not dive it’s whatever, supports basically are the one’s who decide a bans, so obviously they gonna ban those characters who’s hard to play against (Freja was exception but she was brokenly op)

It’s the logical choice, she is very powerful against squishies and tanks alike. Her basic three swing combo flat out kills a full health 225hp. You don’t even need that much aim to pull it off! Add a melee and you can add every 250hp character. Her healthpool and movement means that you can’t just chase her away with a few shots either, you need to put out a decent amount of damage before she has reason to back off.
I played as rein today and her spin attack actually double stunned me out of my pin, it isn’t even represented like a powerful charge forward like brig or doom.
Tanks are made to survive some stray damage, but melee (and therefore her devastating primary) cuts through shields and matrixes, leaving most tanks defenseless. You’re forced to immediately switch targets, get out or get obliterated. Kind of like what sombra does to non-tanks.
It’s like they gave reaper more damage, more health, an easier to hit primary, the ability to ignore shields and matrixes, and then tried to ‘balance’ it by making his abilities slightly shittier. Except they aren’t really shittier, because soaring slice gives her a free overhead and becomes available again after her primary attack sequence, and her spin attack can double stun charges
Blame blizzard. If they want to make horribly balanced heroes, the community will react. Maybe the Sombra mains can stop complaining now.

incase vendetta "mains" r lost why , she can chase wrecking ball around the map. her hitbox is incredibly small she has 2 movement abilities that BOTH also do damage. her ult doesnt show until the last minute . she can BLOCK A DVA BOMB. she doesnt "punish isolated people" ive watched her plow through an entire team. she hardly has any hard counters and then they gave her a buff. EVERY 3RD SHOT SHE DOES IS AN INSTANT CRIT. EVERYONE ELSE IN THE GAME HAS TO CRIT BY THEMSELVES
