I just received my first order from Velvet Cloud. I got Mewlew's Magic, 12mg and I use the Vaporesso mini5 with .6 pod. (Brand new & primed for 15 minutes.)
I usually use Red Star's Wyatt Earp, 12 mg but since Red Star doesn't have a lot of choices for 12mg, I figured I'd try something new.
The flavor of Mewlew's Magic is okay and it does produce a big cloud. It tastes... thin. Like, some throat-hit but not nearly what I was expecting. I've moved the slider on my device to mostly closed and that helps a bit, but it tastes very thin.
I've been puffing while I work (from home) and I'm getting the fuzzy-tongue feel, so the nicotine is probably what I ordered, but I guess I'm puffing a lot more often, chasing the throat hit.
I know they claim they have a 30 day refund policy, but they hadn't responded to 2 emails I sent previously, and it took 12 days for me to receive this bottle. I'm mildly annoyed. I suppose I should be thankful that this is my biggest problem this week!
Velvet cloud vapors uses all VG in their eliquid where possible. So the throat hit is going to be less intense and it might be muted due to wicking in a pod device.
Thanks for the explanation! I haven't paid much attention to VG/PG but I suppose I have some more research to do. I like the flavor, so that's something. I'm hoping that my tolerance (? preference?) will adjust as it did when I first started vaping with nic salts, which are too intense for me now.
