Ok folks, it's that time again! We're doing another poll of what pods you would recommend to someone switching from disposables. If you don't see your choice listed then mention it in a comment below. These polls are very helpful to new users so we intend to do them regularly going forward. Any other comments go below or reach out to the mod team in modmail.

  • I'm doing my part!

  • Thank You for stepping up.

  • Xlim, and the Geekvape deserve a mention. But XROS has my heart.

    Thanks for the poll!

Which series of the XROSs do you use? :)

  • Man was I the only one having bad experiences with xros pods? The only good thing I can think of is having good flavor but all other pods listed here have good flavor. xros pods frequently leaks from time to time and I hated cleaning up for them when I notice it leaking. I stopped using them after like 2 weeks of usage.

I made it over a month before I decided to stop using mine for the sake of my own sanity.

I read that you are supposed to leave it sitting straight up and it won’t do that.

You were not also the vaporesso team has a strong presence on this board and I’ve confirmed it through msg

  • Hey fellas, whats the best pod system with replaceable coils nowadays? I was on caliburn g series until they moved to pod replacement only

I believe most use replaceable pods for convenience, but I'm still an RDA and squonk guy, so I'm no authority on this. It's just an opinion based on what I do know about them. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in.

An old but gold Flexus Q and you use the .6 in low power it’s same as other pods mentioned

  • Xros is my absolute favourite pod system as a primarily RDA user. The power, flavour, battery life and longevity are honestly amazing for the size and price point

  • I just switched myself so tossing in what I got. Smok Novo. I like it a lot so far (I have only had it a day, though to be fair). Picked it because years ago I had friends who loved Smok and they were known to be quality, and I wanted one with refillable pods rather than the glass cartridge and custom coil style which is too complex for my brain lol. I don't need it to be super fancy just need it to vape and be refillable.

I hope you'll be really happy with it, friend, and we're always here to help if you need any :-)

Does it spit at all? Every single pod, disposable or otherwise, that I've tried feels like drinking it lol (except juul but a pack of those is approaching $50 in my city now). Would love to find one that actually works without being part vape, part horrible beverage. Maybe I'm just over sensitive to it, idk. My gf like the Raz disposables and I don't understand how she tolerates them lol. Just spit city to me.

It has not yet at all, nope! And I screwed up first trying to fill it even so honestly it should be. Lol. Fill it through the RED hole with the cover, not the middle hole. I cannot ABIDE by spitting either I hate that.

  • argus icosmcode 2.0 tech pod for restricted vaping like the disposables

caliburn gpp pod for more airy but more flavor

Nexlim go pods for bigger capacity per pod

  • Caliburn G all day, super consistent and easy for anyone coming from disposables.

  • Can anybody recommend a vape that's similar to digiflavor? I really loved the adjustable airflow and the adjustable watts from 12-25. It's become nearly impossible to consistently find them in the strawberry banana flavor around here, so when I discovered Pulse Liq I decided to switch to that. For over a month now I've been using an xros 5 mini and I've had problem after problem. I've made adjustments to what I'm doing to try to fix the problems I'm having, but I just hate this thing at this point and would really like to find a vape with more options (like i said above, I really really liked the adjustable airflow and adjustable watts that digiflavor had), but one that still hits like a disposable.

  • I just can't switch from disposable now that I've learned I can refill my geek bar, my Eclipse and my Fogger disposables and don't actually have to throw them away. My bf just got out of prison & told/showed me that a ton of disposable vapes can be slightly disassembled, filled with juice like a mod is, and work good as new (with the exception that the geek bar does say that it's empty, despite being full). Also because my last refillable mod was "unbreakable" (I have a condition that causes me to drop stuff constantly) and maybe the mod was unbreakable, but the tank shattered and getting a replacement was a bitch.

  • Looks like I need to reevaluate, mine isnt even on the list!

  • Can someone suggest a trustworthy website to purchase?

I think that depends on where you live, as not all vendors ship to all states due to local laws and regulations (assuming you're in the US).

  • I’m trying to decide what juice to get, getting the oxva xlim pro 2 dna. I am thinking the .8 pods and 30mg juice. Not sure how that would compare to a 50mg disposable

  • I love my nevoks feelin x not sure if it's still made.

  • For Disposible vape users, I recommend;

    • Caliburn G4
    • Argus G2
    • XLIM Pro

These devices allow manual wattage change for all pods, for all wattages.

XROS pods are good & last a while, but I don't really recommend XROS for disposable vape users.

XROS only allows manual wattage change for 0.4ohm pods https://i.imgur.com/MYlWdlq.jpeg

But choose the XROS if you dont mind using a "dumbed down" device for the 9W to 22W range.
