When 90% of the content I see here (not even subbed) is conservative talk pieces and have absolutely nothing to do with landlords, you’d think you could comment your opinion. :)

Other local subreddits definitely do allow homeowners, landlords, housing providers, home builders, and investors to give their perspectives. The mods here made this subreddit because they get downvoted to hell in r/vancouver and r/vancouverhousing etc for their obviously heinous and ridiculous opinions that are out of touch with reality. Also they probably occasionally get banned from other subreddits because this sub allows some absolutely wild neo-nazi level racism and poor-people hate to fly like its nothing. That's why they made this little sub to come and complain together and push narratives that are politically conservative but very unpopular (because they are hateful and greedy). The thing is they wont make it private either because they want to network with and influence other rich people so they can all exploit people more effectively.
Yeah, this sub is a riot. Colonialism is alive and well in the minds of some people. It's kinda scary that those people are landlords, and I think I might have found part of the problem on why Vancouver and area is so prohibitively expensive.

Which wild accusation did I throw? All through the past weeks since the Cowichan decision fallout in Richmond I have witnessed people coming on here saying that Native people are incapable of developing technology or managing land.. which you may be unaware is a very common neo-nazi narrative.

You may be surprised to learn that the financiers of landlords (aka renters) have a thing or two to say about the wealthy people whose comfortable lives they subsidize with their rent money.
If you disagree (which I do, very much and often) with opinions you see here you can engage in spirited and hopefully mostly good faith debate and dialogue.
Just going on record that I think censorship or the removal of ideas or beliefs you dont like is counterproductive, fascist-adjacent, and gross. And I am a woke, pro-renter, anticapitalist who comes here to give a reality check to the dogmatic landlords and conservatives that run rampant on this sub.
I'll add that successful landlords would probably highly value hearing from renters who have different worldviews and values from themselves. Especially angry renters who are importantly not THEIR renters. So, conversely blocking renters from speaking on the topic of landlords/housing in this forum would be both censorship and counterproductive.

So yea individuals can always block him but the other solution the subreddit level add a particular tag for land claims/indigenous reconciliation posts so it can be filtered out and there’s an actual ability to discuss other things like housing policy.

Wokism, like most radical ideologies and religious beliefs, demands censorship of contradictory or opposing perspectives. Because they are mostly based on lies, reality is menacing and they need to be sheltered from it. Moreover, the believers feel personally threatened in their identities by opinons or arguments that don't align with their own.
