Holy shit I’m currently watching the Hornets vs Jazz rn and I still can’t believe most of y’all wanna draft another wing with no self creation like Caleb Wilson, Koa Peat, Nate Ament, Karim Lopez or even Tounde Yessoufou

We already drafted three wings in the lottery who have no self creation and outside of Key no one even competes.

That’s why If it were me I would rather draft guys like Mikel Brown, Kingston Flemings or even Labaron Philon if we don’t land in that top 3

  • Ace absolutely projects to create his own shot. He has a nice turnarond jumper from the post as a rookie.

Nah he projects more as an off ball guy, handle is very limited

He is 19 bro. You think we are gonna just hand him the ball as a rookie and say "go crazy?"

No, he is working on his handle and will get more on ball work as he develops. Handle is the easiest skill to develop in the nba. He already has great passing instincts for a 19 year old forward.

I hope you’re right! I don’t agree with a handle being the easiest thing to develop

  • Dybanasta is who we wanna draft

    Its who we should draft

I think I read somewhere that Peterson is pretty much every team's number one so hopefully we get him

He will somehow be a Spur.

  • Hear me out: What other position do you want us to draft at? We have six or seven guards playing rotational minutes (Key, Svi, Ace, Brice, Walt, Isaiah, Harkless). We have our Center and Power Forward starting roles locked in (Lauri and Walker), and the backups at that position are filled with vets. If Cody and Taylor haven't proven that they're real reliable players, why shouldn't we be drafting another guy into that wing position to get something solid?

  • Kingston is the real deal. His shot making is awesome, and I’d be stoked to walk out of the draft with him. That’d probably seal Isaiah’s fate though

    Collier’s fate is sealed regardless

  • Ace self creation is better than everybody on this list btw

  • Okay. Trade down then

  • Yeah, that's who the Jazz seem to draft regardless of their other attributes. Hendricks and Williams lottery picks have made me seriously doubt the Jazz scouts. They go after long wings that are ultra nice guys with zero dog in them. That seems to be what makes the Jazz FO excited. Trying so hard to replicate Tatum when that's now how it works.

  • That’s what stands out to me—and why I’m starting to buy into the Utah Jazz again, specifically because of Key and Lauri.

Since the end of the Donovan Mitchell–Rudy Gobert era, Utah has been in a prolonged asset-accumulation phase. Draft capital has value, but rebuilding without a clear timeline risks stagnation. At some point, internal development needs to be supplemented with external certainty.

With Key’s on-ball creation and Lauri’s elite off-ball scoring and size, the Jazz already have two skill sets that scale well in competitive lineups. The priority now should be roster optimization: adding complementary veterans, defenders, and connective playmakers who fit their usage profiles.

Continuing to stack unproven rookies introduces volatility rather than progress. The data is clear—winning environments accelerate development, while undefined roles slow it. Utah doesn’t need to rush contention, but it does need to pivot from accumulation to construction.

The core is identifiable. The next phase is about fit, balance, and intent—not patience for patience’s sake.

Then what is your solution to the problem? Complain? When do they have another blunder game?
Tell me you're a casual clown without telling me. Offer a solution to the problem and stop criticizing your team when the sh*t hit the fan...
