I will share one of my personal stories. About 6-7 years ago my boyfriend at the time and I were leaving my house. I locked the door and we started walking towards my car when he says “Oh I don’t have my keys!” He always kept them on a lanyard either around his neck or in his pockets. I saw him check his pockets and there was nothing there and they were not on his neck. I also know for a fact that they were not in my car because I saw him use them earlier in the day, and we had not been in my car yet. I said “Well it’s fine because I’m driving so we’ll get them later”.

Fast forward 10ish minutes we are driving down the road and I hear metal clanking like when you drop keys. I looked over and his keys were sitting in his lap. He looks freaked the fuck out. I said “I thought you didn’t have them??” And he said “I didn’t! I know I didn’t! I have no idea how these got here”.

While I was confused, I believed him because I saw him check for the keys and I heard them fall while we were having a conversation. I would have noticed him pull them out of somewhere.

Not an incredibly crazy story but it was just so bizarre and has stuck with me all of these years. I have had other experiences but this was the most straight forward one.

  • My grandparents had a grandfather clock…for as long as I remember. Every hour on the hour…it sang its little song and rang its little bells. Never any issues, never broke, always on the hour. The day my grandpa died-that changed. He died at 4:23. Later that evening we all went to be with my grandma at her house and she said something was wrong with the clock. Instead of the song playing with it turned to a new hour….it was doing it at the :23rd minute of each hour….every hour. Just switched up. My dad wanted to take it to the clock repair but my grandma said it made her feel like her husband was still there. So she kept it. My grandma has long since passed…and my dad now has the grandfather clock….which still plays its bells at the 23rd minute of each hour.

In a similar vein, my grandfather died several years ago. Many years later, his wife (my grandma) got a tumor in her jaw and was dying slowly at my parents' place (In-home hospice). The day she came to our place, the hospice nurses let us know she would be passing that night and to say our goodbyes. Well, this continued for three straight days. Death rattle and everything for three whole days. Every day the nurses would come and say "we have no idea how she made it through the night."

On the third night, my dad went in there to talk to her. He told her it was okay to leave, and that Gramps was waiting for her. They had met at a dance in the UK when he was an active duty soldier. My dad told her, "Otto is waiting for you, he's walking across to ask you to dance."

A moment later, she took her final breath -- just after midnight. At the foot of her bed my mom had made her an altar with candles and photos of her with family. My dad said the candle in front of a photo of her and my grandpa went out right after she took her last breath.

We realized that morning it was exactly ten years to the day since my grandpa died. It was like she was waiting for him in some way, like there's some kind of portal or passageway between spirits forged through love and death. To this day the story gives me chills!

I'm so sorry for your loss, but it sounds like your grandparents are together and happy again. What a beautiful if tragic story.

all lives end. It's not tragic to go peacefully

Oh! My great grandfather was named Otto, and my mother always said he visited her.

And my mother. We were all sleeping in her room as she was in hospice. I recall in my brain I told her we would be ok, all of us would find a way to be ok. And she immediately started the breathing and it woke us all up. The radio was on Christmas music for her, very softly. And as we stood there, amazing grace started playing instead of the other music. It was her favorite song.

We couldn't do anything but give each other wide eyed looks.

This just gave me full body goosebumps!

    Totally gramps!!!!

This is so sweet. Thank you for sharing.

  • I was having a rough time and was just in a terrible mood worse than usual, thinking a lot about how I‘d lost track of what was important in life, and how lost i was feeling in general. Just a super rough day, couple things went wrong and it just unraveled my whole mood into a cathartic mess. Happens to the best of us lol.

But the weird part is the next morning my mom called me out of the blue, apparently she had a terrible dream that I got lost somewhere and everyone was looking for me. She said she figured I was probably fine but it was so real and disturbing she had to call and make sure. Which isn’t something that happens regularly. Nope not lost just really felt like it lol. Probably just a coincidence but feels like she picked up on something. Moms can have some crazy powers I swear.

Mom telepathy is definitely real! I don’t believe you can nurture another life in the way that a mother does and not develop a strong spiritual bond to them. I hope things are better for you now!

Absolutely! Some of the stories I’ve heard are kinda crazy. And thank you! Doing fine, just a lil rough patch.

I was hours away from home, fell off a boat and my life vest slipped off.

Later that day I called home on a pay phone and my mom answers “what happened on the lake today? Are you ok?”

There are little pieces of baby DNA that enters mamas bloodstream. If they draw mamas blood they know about the baby too. I don't think those baby DNA particles ever leave and you are a whole different person after having a baby. And when there are siblings, they also share DNA particles. There is a sciencey type answer that might explain the very real phenomenon.

I have heard of that and agree that it is a real phenomenon! My momma passed away a little over 4 years now. She was 91 years old. We were always thick as thieves, argued a lot having the mother-daughter conflict but we still had that strong bond. A lot of days, I still feel her love for me, it feels even stronger than when she was flesh and blood. It is uncanny. I have accepted it as that love never dies, even after a mortal death. I know that she lives in eternity.

I have telepathy with my mom, no doubt.

My mom would call us when we were having meltdowns, even through adulthood. She swore she would hear one of us say “Mommy!” and knew she needed to call. She called me in the middle of a full sob on several occasions.

She passed 8 months ago - I keep thinking that if the afterlife exists, she must hate that she hasn’t been able to call us (it’s been ROUGH).

Do me a favor and tell your mom you love her! ❤️

So incredibly sorry for your loss. Sounds like you had an incredible Mom!

And thank you for the reminder to tell my parents I love them. 💜

My mom has done stuff like this repeatedly. One time she knew that I had been to the ER (hadn’t told my family) and she even knew which day. Runs in the women on her side of the family.

Yes, runs in the family on my mother’s side too.

Wow, that’s really cool, I never thought it could be something that could run in families but I guess why not

As crazy as it is, this doesn’t only happen with our natural mothers. My significant other’s family has adopted me as one of their own and has lovingly supported me through so many battles, NEVER giving up on me.

There was a period of time where my spouse and I had been drinking a lot and split up. I got my own apartment about two hours away from him and his family. He and I weren’t really on speaking terms and I eventually started running with a rough crowd. A couple of months into my rough crowd phase, there were things, very concerning, life threatening things that were occurring.

Throughout this ordeal I had a dream that I was dead and watching my loved ones (him and his family) learn about my death. A short time later, (days/weeks?) he called me because his Mom told him she had a bad feeling and he needed to check on me. I’m so grateful for them. I am now 17 months sober.

    Congratulations!! 💗💗

Thank you so much! I couldn’t have done it without family.

I hear that. One of the hardest things we ever have to go through. Stay strong friend! 💗

My grandma called me one day out of the blue, she’s long distance so I don’t talk to her aside form birthdays or holidays. She called to ask me how my dad was and said she had a feeling he was in trouble. At the time he was mostly fine as far as I knew but the next day I ended up taking him to the hospital because he was having complications from cirrhosis. It always freaked me out how she called me the day before

Moms and twins. A force to be reckoned with for sure

  • I love telling this story! So when I was in college (this was around 2007) I had a little one bedroom apartment off campus all to myself. It had a living room and kitchen, and then a bedroom with its own door.

Well one day, I met a girl in one of my classes who had the exact same book interests that I did (vampire romance mostly lol) and she offered to let me come by her place and borrow a couple. She lent me 3 books total. I went back to my apartment and when I went to bed, I decided to flip through the books to see if they were any good.

My bed was probably about 2-3 feet off the ground due to risers so that drawers could be stored underneath so I was a little higher up than a regular bed. I start flipping through the books and I read a couple pages of the first one, okay seems cool, then I toss it on the floor because I didn’t have a bedside table. I hear the book plop on the floor but can’t see it because of the height. I do the same with the second book, read the first couple pages to get a feel for it then toss it, hearing the “plop” as it hit the ground. But the 3rd book did something different. I read the first couple pages and decided it was time to go to bed, so I toss it on the floor but instead of the usual “plop” sound, it sounded… weird. That’s the only way I can describe it, it just made a slightly different sound. I assumed the third book had just hit one of the others or landed funny, I didn’t think much of it and turned off the lights and went to bed.

Well in the morning, I get up and there are only 2 books on the floor. The 3rd book I tossed is nowhere to be found. I start tearing my room apart. My room wasn’t messy or cluttered, I didn’t have a whole lot to my name at the time. But the 3rd book was just gone. So I think to myself that’s pretty weird, but I figure it’ll eventually turn up. It never did, and I had to explain to this girl that I somehow lost her book which was embarrassing in and of itself because I pride myself on taking care of other people’s things. 6 months later I moved out and I intentionally searched every single nook and cranny of the apartment for that book, because I could not stop thinking about it. I never found it.

Details: I lived on the third floor, I had a chain on my door so no one could have snuck in during the night. I’m an extremely light sleeper, I have absolutely no history of sleep walking or mental illness lol. But that book disappearing literally opened up my mind to the possibility that there’s so much more to this world.

I unfortunately do not remember the name of the book but I remember the cover had an image of a table covered in lots of gold fabric and a candelabra.

This reminds me of something that happened to me at work. I lost my ID badge, so I got a new one.  The same day, my new badge slipped out of my hand in my car, and I spend 30 minutes searching for it in and around my car. I had just bought a new car, so there was no clutter at all, nothing on the floorboards or under the seat.  I never found it.

I lost a mont blanc pen in my truck, and it fell on my feet, while I was driving, 3 years later. I think it fell into the vents on the dash by the windshield and just worked its way down through the vent system.

Those damn socks that you can never find…

You’re not kidding! I have 4-5 singles set aside hoping the match shows up later. They’ve been there for at least 6-7 loads of laundry. Hamper to washer to dryer. Sort, fold and put away. Somewhere there’s a mountain of mismatched socks!

They will only appear when you throw away the ones you're holding on to. I'm sorry, but that's the rule.

I had a job where I carried a fob on a lanyard to open doors. My friend and neighbour used to give me a lift to town, park near her volunteer job and I would walk two blocks to work. One day the whole lanyard, including the fob disappeared into thin air somewhere on the walk between the undercover parking and work. I'm sure it was in my bag when I left home but when I looked for it at work it wasn't there. I retraced my steps and my friend searched her car but it was never seen again.

This happened to me with my work badge - except several months later, I tried to roll my seat back and realized something was stuck in the track. And that thing was my badge.

By that point I had obviously gotten a replacement and the old one had been deactivated, so I just threw it away out of embarrassment lol.

I’ve heard a few people tell stories where they lose things to the ether. There’s something to it.

The ether stole a dollie of mine when I was 6. I believe when we died that we are given a box of all of our lost items during our lifetime.

That would really be something! 88 single socks coming your way ❤️

Wow, that is very odd! What was the girls reaction when you told her?

I am wondering now what the book was and if it was connected to what happened or just completely random.

Since something so weird had never happened to me before, I tried explaining to her how it literally disappeared. She listened, then sighed and said "It's okay, sometimes we just lose things" and I was crushed that she didn't believe me. I had promised her I would return them since I had just met her so it wasn't a good look overall lol. There really wasn't anything significant about the book itself... I like to think that there's another universe version of me that woke up to find 2 of that book on the floor, and was equally confused about it duplicating.

Could you have bought her another copy? I have an open mind and believe that we people don't know 99% about the universe. I believe you, but if you were interested in her as more than a friend, I would have brought a brand new copy with me. Did you say you were in college? If so, then I totally get that.

Oh that was my original plan for sure but it was an old, out of print paperback and this was back in 2007. Nowadays it’s sooo much easier to find copies of obscure stuff online, but I searched online for days before I finally had to admit to her it was lost because I was hoping she could tell me where to buy a new copy for her. She told me it was out of print and something she had bought in a second hand store :(

I know you were upset over that! Yes, it is so much easier now to find things on the internet. Maybe you and her were just not meant to be. If that had been me and she had been a man, I definitely would not have wanted to run into her any anywhere. I hope she wasn't in any of your classes. Like you wrote, it would have funny if the book had dropped down into someone else's life.I can just imagine the person picking it up and saying, "Where did this book come from, it wasn't here a second ago?" Hahahahahaha That is pretty funny!!!

I’m a woman and she was just a friend! We stayed friends after that and I remember we would get together and have watch parties for the series “True Blood” because we both loved the Sookie Stackhouse books. But she definitely never let me borrow any more books lol

Oops!!! That's what I get for thinking! Hahahahahaha So sorry. In that case, I'm glad you all stayed friends. I had 2 years at Univ of Houston way back when then went to Nursing School. It was fun. But I wish I had stuck it out. I seriously want to go back to college to finish my degree. I studied Spanish/French but want to get a History degree too.

I never read any Sookie Stackhouse but googled it and they look very interesting.I will have to read Harris' books.

They are very good. The show True Blood is based off of them. 🙂🧛💉🩸

I was sitting at my kitchen table in a small one bedroom apartment when my EarPod fell out. I looked everywhere but couldn’t find it. I figured oh well it will turn up but never found it. Only thing I can think of is it took a weird bounce and some how ended up in the trash can? Still think about it and even look for it from time to time, so weird.

Brownies. Brownies took it...or fairies, either way. They took my keys for an entire week until I yelled it wasn't funny anymore and I needed my keys. They were found in the chair that I pulled apart previously. My phone disappeared once too, I kindly asked for it back and it came back. Anytime I lose something, I ask St. Anthony to help me find it and if that doesn't work, I say out loud I need it back please.

  • I’ve had a few experiences that are way more intense in life than this but was just thinking about this again last night so I’ll share it here.

About three to six months after my mother passed away, my wife was at work and I was in a small apartment built next to my parents’ house. There’s no interior connection between the two, you have to go outside. Between their immediate connecting walls is a laundry room.

That day, my dad suddenly rushed out of his house and knocked hard on my door. He was very visibly shaken and asked if I had heard anything. He told me that while sitting in his recliner watching TV, he heard my mother scream his name from the laundry room, like she urgently needed help. He was crying and clearly disturbed. I told him honestly that I hadn’t heard anything and hadn’t been making any noise. This bothered him for weeks. About a year later, my dad passed away.

A few months after that, my wife and I were cleaning out my parents’ house. She was near the kitchen/living room area by the laundry room. I was at the opposite end of the house in my parents’ bedroom closet, boxing up clothes.

As soon as I lifted a box, I heard my wife scream my name loud, panicked, and unmistakable. It was not in my head. I dropped the box and ran toward the laundry room, fully expecting to find her injured.

    She wasn’t there.

I went outside and found her sitting calmly on a bench by the front door, smoking a cigarette. She said she hadn’t screamed and had no idea what I was talking about. It was real man. 100 percent real.

I had chills the entire time. I still do when I think about it. I don’t have an explanation.

That's freaky, sounds like a mimic

Listen…I know and am not trying to think about that. It’s one of the only possible answers and freaks me tf on out!

Please tell me it’s been over a year since you heard the scream… 😳

Thankfully so. 👀 That was in 2019. Can still hear it in my mind so clearly though.

  • I had a moment where I was chatting to my Mom and she said she wanted to tell me something. Immediately as if someone took over my body I said "you were married before you married Dad?" She stares at me and asked how I knew she was going to say that. I never knew or heard from anyone that my Mom had been married, that was not our topic of discussion, and it literally felt like I was possessed and it just got blurted out. All I remember is it felt strange like I was not in control of my body for a brief moment. Freaked me out.

I’ve been in this situation before!

I was 6 years old and my brother was 9. We were standing at the end of the driveway waiting for the school bus. My brother says he has to tell me something. And without skipping a beat I immediately say “thumper’s dead” and he was confused how I knew our pet rabbit died the night before. And I didn’t know at all. I learned it as I said it. Freaky stuff!

  • At my mom's house: every human (5 adults) and animal (2 teacup sized dogs) were together in the living room. About 20 mins into chatting, a dog toy is literally thrown from the kitchen... like, overhand throw. It landed in the middle of all of us, and for context it was a rubber ball about the size of a grapefruit.

But there was no one there, and both dogs were with us - like in my/my mom's lap the whole time. They also aren't big enough to launch a ball from that height, it came flying over the kitchen counter. No person left the room at all, even for a sec, so it def wasnt anyone of us. We were so freaked out we searched the whole property for about half an hour looking for the source - never found it.

I've had a lot of spooky experiences over the years, I don't believe in ghosts really but my family always joke that ghost activity spikes when I'm around LOL

lol well if it was a ghost at least they just wanted to play with the dogs! 😂 Did the dogs react to this at all?

They looked at the ball and went and sniffed it, but they didn't growl or anything. My grandma passed a few months before that happened, so we like to think it was her

To be honest, that’s probably what I’ll do if I stick around after I’ve died

Try turning off streetlights with your mind. Some people just have "something" that others don't.

If I could do that I'd probably be in a higher tax bracket LOL, a girl can dream though!

I can't do it activity, but they turn off all the time around me. I walk a lot at night and ill get ~2 diffrent ones a night turn off on me. I change routes a lot to keep it interesting and still they turn off.

Something similar happened to my family, except it was in the middle of the night and the object that was thrown was a decorative glass bowl. We also initially thought an intruder was responsible, but it was a very small duplex and we found nothing amiss.

A lot of other weird things happened in that place too. A friend of mine moved into the opposite part of the duplex 12 years after my family moved out and she reported experiencing a lot of the same — and even worse — stuff that we did. That duplex really solidified my belief in the paranormal tbh

  • This happened a little more than twenty years ago but I still think about it all the time.

Was with a group of friends on a rooftop patio area of a small apartment complex late one night when almost everyone seemed to notice something appear suddenly across the street - what I can only describe as a “blob” of bright light that hovered momentarily outside an apartment window before shooting up into the night sky at an absolutely incredible speed. From window to space in what seemed like less than a second.

There was a brief moment of silence and awe from the group before everyone started freaking out about what we’d just witnessed. If no one else had noticed, I absolutely would’ve chalked it up to some weird lapse in my vision.

Now, this part is purely speculative but about 10 mins later an ambulance pulled up to the building and paramedics went inside. Within the group we all wondered if someone had passed and what we witnessed was their soul exiting their body. For what it’s worth I’m not a religious person and am not convinced there’s even such a thing as a soul… but that moment has always made me wonder. We waited as long as we could before we had to go back inside but never saw the paramedics exit, and there was little view of the inside of the apartment via the window where we saw the light appear.

I’ve always wondered if anyone out there has seen something similar. Seeing this post I figured I’d share and find out!

I once had Siamese cat that I adored. When he was dying from kidney failure. that vet was putting him to sleep while I sat with him. When he died, I saw him rise up as a ball of light, but one with cat-eared shapes on it's top (? wasn't a head, per se.) and eye shapes that looked drawn-on, not real. It rose up to eye level with me, smiled (despite not having a mouth), then went out a glass block window, fast.

So that may well be what you saw.

Thank you for sharing that, and I’m sorry about your cat. So hard when pets pass on.

Very interesting about the window. You’d think something that looks and moves that way could go through anything i.e. straight up through the building and out but in both instances it involved a window.

My guess is that dying is supposed to involve 'going towards the light', and windows are where light is. More of a figurative image than literal (I doubt our brains can really process what happens then, so we comprehend as well as we can), plus maybe they're letting us (the observers) know that they are making the shift successfully.

When he smiled at me, I got such a sense that he wasn't sick anymore and was happy.

    That's...reassuring and lovely

It is customary in many cultures to open the window of the room when someone dies, to let the soul get out easily.

I read something recently about a theory ab souls coming from (for birth) and going to the Sun (after death). Which I think I vibe with. It’s always been ppl point up to the sky and that’s where heaven is. We are “light beings” we go back to the “source”. Energy/light carrying information.

That’s really cool whatever you and your friends witnessed maybe someone did pass and you witnessed their soul leaving their body thanks for sharing

The phenomenon you're describing sounds like ball lightning. Google it.

Familiar with ball lightning, certainly could be. What throws me off it a little is at least in what I’ve read the rapid ascension hasn’t been described, but I’m certainly no expert and open to every possibility

    Sounds like a missile

A missile being launched from an apartment complex window? I don’t think so.

Haha yes can confirm it wasn’t a missile. But also an opportunity to clarify that it made no sound, at least not that any of us could hear from our vantage point

    Yea definitely a missile

  • I also had an experience involving my keys. I got up early to go to work and couldnt find my keys. I started tearing through my purse, searching the apartment. I got a ride to work that day and kept obsessively going through my purse. I looked for days and finally paid $150 to get a new car key made. Hours after paying for the new key, I put my hand in the zippered pouch of my purse and pull out my keys. I was shocked because I had searched and emptied that purse looking for them many times. I even checked the lining of the purse in case they slipped through a hole, but nothing.

Ha my comment also involves my handbag too. There's a few stories about missing stuff showing up in handbags or purses. I'm starting to think my fiancé claiming that women's handbags are black holes, might actually have some truth to it 😅

This EXACT same thing happened to me about 3 years ago. Id spent all day and $200 on getting a key master to come out and make me a new chip key for my car. Later that night my keys turned up in my purse. The same purse I almost tore the seams of searching for my keys that day. I was baffled for months after that. I still think about it to this day. And reading your post BLOWS my mind even more. I mean, woah.

  • So, about sixteenish years ago, my now-husband and I were renting this little house in Pensacola. One day I was there alone, washing the dishes and watching tv. Our sink had an overhead window and when standing there facing it, I could turn my head to the left and see the tv in the livingroom.
That day, I also had a crockpot of chili on the counter to my right. It had a short cord and was pushed back against the wall. Anyway, so I'm standing with my body facing the window as I wash dishes, but with my head turned to the left to see the tv in the livingroom, with the crockpot on the counter to my right, out of sight when my head was turned but within arm's reach, and I'm suddenly startled by this big crash.

I look behind me and the crockpot of chili is upside down in the middle of the kitchen floor. Not near the counter where I was, no longer plugged in (shortness of the cord didn't even let it reach the edge of the counter), and smack in the middle of the kitchen floor, upside down, somehow with all the chili still inside it. It didn't splatter out and the lid was on the other side of the room.

I have no idea how it happened. It was literally within arm's reach of me, and I didn't bump it, nor was the counter wet. I didn't hear anything scrape or slip or anything but the crash of the moment it hit the floor.

I picked it up and all the chili came out and spread across the floor and it was a pain to clean up but I was just speechless the whole time.

I still have no idea. We called it our "countergeist" after that.

A strong ghost cat just having fun pushing things off ledges

It sounds absolutely insane, but sometimes the spirits of my departed cats come by in the night. It'll feel like a cat is walking up my bed and curling up against my legs. I have (alive) cats, but when I sit up a little to see and pet which one...there's nothing there. And no sign of recent cats on the bed.

Sometimes it's not cats I know, but they'll stop by for a little while before moving on. These visitations don't happen super frequently, but I can tell if it's one of my cats dropping by for a visit or it's someone just passing through and desiring a snuggle. I always sleep better on those nights, and am grateful for the visits.

There's also random things being knocked off my dresser or the kitchen counters, lol. Even ghost cats gonna cat.

I think this one is my favorite. 💜💜

Thank you, that's so kind of you! I've been a cat lady since birth, so I wonder if that's why they visit. It's such a comfort when things are tough, cats always know when they're needed; corporeal or not :)

  • I had a basketball sized orb of gold light fly up to me in the jungle. It hovered and looked at me. There wasn't a bug or anything in the middle. It was just light. A conscious flying ball of light. It lit uo the whole area and I wasn't scared at all. My friend had seen one the previous year in the same location and I thought she was just "woo woo" until I had the same thing happen to me. There's definitely more to this world than we can see

After forty+ years of active interest in all things paranormal that’s pretty much what I’ve decided what most paranormal events are - energies, powers, forces, whatever the hell you want to call them - are all perfectly natural phenomena that we just don’t have an understanding of it…yet. Mind, I’m not discounting anybody else’s experiences at all, this is just my own personal opinion. I will say that, to me, ufos are the exception to my beliefs but that’s a whole other story!

Yeah I think our science just doesn't have the tools to test everything and our senses only get a small portion of the spectrum of energy. But I guarantee that it's not all my brain playing tricks on me or figments of my imagination. Are you saying UFOs are the exception as in you do or don't believe in them? I do believe extra-terrestrials are real and I have seen a UFO! Not up close but I was stargazing one night and was watching a satellite (or so I thought) until it took a 90 degree angle and hyper-speeded away and disappeared

Ball lightning can present like this

I considered that but this flew up, hovered, and flew away. It wasn't stormy either

  • I’m a very alert and defensive driver. I live where I turn onto a road that is flat and clear.

It is easy to check — no obstructions, and I have a passenger who also checks and declares if their side is clear — there is no other turn out nearby.

And yet sometimes I’ll get a phantom car — not really a car? More like an in invisible shadow going by the way a car would. It always makes me stop and then! Lo and behold! A car comes by out of literally nowhere.

I can’t explain it. The way was clear. No way for someone to just be there.

And yet, phantom not-car becomes a car.

Wow, maybe the phantom car is saving you from crashing into the second car. But if the second car just appears, then maybe it's also a shadow car, but I wouldn't want to find out if I were you. Is there another way you can go home? Probably not, huh?

I think so and no it’s the only road in and out. I just respect the phantom car.

Maybe they came out of the woods hiding a dead body lol

Lol if only but it’s suburbia!

How strange! I’ve definitely experienced phantom cars as well. Like I will see headlights behind me and I know there is no where to turn off or turn around, but the headlights will just disappear. I wonder what’s up with that lol

It’s always daytime when it happens!! It’s just whoosh.

  • I found my lost keys through a dream once.

My keys had been missing for a couple of days. I had a dream that I was standing at my dining room table and my keys fell on it from above.

The next morning, I stood by the table recreating my dream scene. Nothing. My backpack was on the table. I picked that up and my keys fell down on the table. They had been stuck inside a torn seam in the backpack.

  • When I was 19, I was getting ready to go to a movie with my then-boyfriend when our friend texted us, “You were good friends. I love you.”

Naturally, I freaked out. We went to his house and he wasn’t home; we called his phone and he didn’t answer. We met up with some other friends, split up and drove all over town, called him over the course of a couple of hours. He’s a wilderness guy. He could have been anywhere. Right before we called the cops, another friend called him one more time. They asked where he was and he said, “Ask R. R knows where I am.”

And suddenly, I did. I knew where he was. I drove 80 back across town to a park that we’d already checked, and he was sitting on a picnic table in the dark with his dad’s handgun, crying. He said he knew I’d find him because he was begging for me to, but if I didn’t, that was going to be his sign to end it.

He slept on our couch; my ex and I slept on the floor next to him. The next day, he gave the gun back to his dad, who surprised us all and got him help immediately.

He’s in a much better place in life now. He’s a good dude.

But I swear on anything, when he said I’d know, I suddenly saw him with crystal clarity, at that park. I knew what table; I didn’t even have to look. I went straight to him in the dark. Nothing about it was even special, it was just where he happened to end up.

I have no explanation, but I saw him. Posture, outfit, table, all of it. He didn’t say it out loud, but he told me.

  • My dreams, they feel so real and the plot feels real too

I take Escitalopram and just learned that it causes vivid dreams..

  • I went to Dublin on my own last year for a week. Splurged for a big birthday. Walked by a medium’s shop all week to and from my hotel, decided to stop in and handed her 20 €.

She looked at me, and asked “ Is Carol your mother dear? She’s always with you when you travel”.

    Carol is my late mom.

  • Okay i’m going to preface this by saying I know how this sounds, and I feel stupid even typing it out , but this experience genuinely messed with my head for months. On October 14th, 2024, I witnessed something I’ve never seen before. Over the span of about 45 minutes, I saw 50+ UAPs shooting across the sky in different directions and at different speeds. It wasn’t like satellites or planes, it was chaotic, fast, and honestly overwhelming. I was shocked and excited and wanted to tell everyone. After that night, I started going out into my garden every evening just watching the sky. Around the same time, there were loads of reports about UAPs and drones near military bases, so my brain was already primed to think something was happening. Fast forward to January 2nd, 2025. Same time of night as before, I’m back in the garden staring up. In my head, I kept repeating something like “If you’re real, show me.” I wasn’t saying it out loud , just looping it internally. Within about five minutes, I saw one UAP. Then another. Then another. It turned into almost a repeat of October, but even more intense objects appearing from multiple directions, different speeds, again 50 or more over roughly 45 minutes. This time, I didn’t tell anyone. Instead, it completely messed with me. I felt like I couldn’t trust my own perception, like my brain was connecting dots that maybe shouldn’t be connected. I started questioning reality and my own mental health, and I honestly became pretty unwell for a while because of it. I’m not claiming anything supernatural or that I caused anything. I’m sharing this because the experience itself and how it affected me mentally was very real. I did run this through the old chat gpt because I'm terrible at grammar and paragraphs and writing in general.

Wow I'm sorry it affected you so much ... That type of "guessing" or "manifesting" happens to me all the time, to the point that people freak out. Sometimes I do just remember details about people and they lose their minds when I remember because they swear they never said that to me (they did, I'm just a shy person and they probably don't remember me being there). Anyway, sometimes I have random thoughts completely out of context and they come true. I know it's bound to happen since we all have a thousand thoughts. Anyway, the last time it happened, I was walking near the ocean at Sunken City near Los Angeles, which is a neighborhood that fell in the water over time. Not really important but I was exploring this area so my mind wasn't wandering. At some point I tell my friend: I should check when the next SpaceX rocket launches, it's been a while now. Not 5 minutes later, I pushed him in the shoulder and pointed at the sky: the very start of a rocket launch. And that's already super weird but hear me out: I'm an inside person, I go outside of course but I love being home, or in museums etc. These rocket launches are not THAT frequent, and I keep seeing them by accident. Once I was driving up a mountain, which I did 3 times in 15 years: rocket. Of course it's just an example but your sky story reminded me of that.

I had just watched the first few episodes of Three Body problem on Netflix about 2 years ago. For those not aware in the first episode, there's a funky scene with the starry night essentially....moving? Changing? Tbh I can't remember well. Anyway watched that and brought my dog for a walk. As I'm walking I noticed some stars in the sky in an odd alignment. So noticeable, I stop and watch it. Before the stars start to move into a line. I'm like WTF is happening right now and recording it (still have the video). Two women pass me on a walk and stop and go "you can see that too right?!?" And I'm like YUP.

Found out later it was Space X. Freaked the absolute shite out of me tbh 😂😂😂 I thought there was some weird star alignment happening or aliens or maybe logically it was a drone show but it was REALLY high up in the sky. Fucking space x. They got me again recently because I was driving home from work a few months back and saw a plane in the sky... But it was really weird like a glow around it or an orb? of light. I had to pull over cause I was like wtf is that?! I should have known..... Space X again.

I honestly need something like this to happen to me. I've been wanting to believe for so long that its really wearing on me. I've recently started looking into all the unexplained happenings again...everything from religion to interdimensional life forms. How can all of this exist and I can't see or experience squat!

If you want to believe, I highly encourage you to check out the gateway tapes! r/gatewaytapes

    If you’re real, show me.

    I’m going to try it.

Be careful what you wish for….or manifest.

  • I had quarters fall on me once in the car.

OMG I was driving along, normal as hell and had a dime literally fall on my head then rest in my lap! I was the only one in my car. Freaked the hell out of me, not in a scary way, I'm very open to the paranormal and metaphysical. To this day don't know how or why, but I saved the dime!

  • I always have podcasts or twitch streams playing as background noise while I work. The person I was listening to said the same word at the exact time I read it in a completely non-related source. Once was kinda cool. Twice was a coincidence. This happened 11x in the span of a four days.

This has happened to me before. I’ll be reading something and suddenly the word I’m reading is being said out loud on the television. It’s a bizarre feeling.

Same. This has happened to me 100s of times in my life and also weird coincidence stuff as I'm listening to stuff. Like I was passing a pub called the Hole in the Wall, as the host on the podcast I listen to said something about going to a pub called the Hole in the Wall. These were two completely different pubs in different countries like 😂 very strange!

  • Dejavu and then something incredibly bizarre happens that I've known will happen. For example, I started a new job at an office where I was only acquainted with two of the ladies there. One of the ladies had a younger sister that I knew had been dating someone since she was in jr high, but other than that knew absolutely nothing about her or her boyfriend. She was about 17 at that time. Anyway, we're all eating lunch and the younger sister, who also works at the office, walks in stating, "you'll never guess what me and my BF went out to do!" I mumbled, "picked out an engagement ring." Her older sister just looked at me and asked what I said, to which I responded "nothing." The weirdest part is the younger sister heard me, went white and said, "yes, how did you know?" Never had I searched this person on social media or even known that she worked at this office. Lucky guess but I also just knew, ya know? Other things like this have happened. My dad walked into the basement one day, like he normally does and I asked him who died. He asked if I'd already talked to my grandmother, which I hadn't. Didn't know anyone was in bad health or anything. I had this feeling and knew. The night my step grandmother passed away I woke up to the most bizarre sound outside. My husband didn't hear it at all and neither did the cat by my Labrador did and whimpered. The next day I got a call saying she had passed away a the exact time I heard the noise. That one has really fucked with my brain, hardcore.

Around a bonfire a friend was saying they saw more shooting stars in that particular spot than anywhere else. I thought that was super cool, said as much and in that exact moment I saw a shooting star over this persons head. Timing was epic.

I was digging a garden and found a skeleton key in my hand. Like I grabbed a clump of dirt that was smaller than my fist and when I glanced at my hand there was a skeleton key as long as my hand. Nobody local knew this house had a skeleton key. I know I didn't see a key in the ground when I went to pickup that clump.

There's lots of other things that do make me sound genuinely crazy. I'm not schizophrenic, cluster B personality type or anything like that either. I have a therapist and she thinks my mind is interesting. Lots of trauma, so probably has to do with hyper vigilance and all that fun stuff.

  • My ex boyfriend and I saw a man walk out of a concrete wall. I swear, we saw this guy walking straight out of a wall! We were in the car, I was driving down a busy road, and when we passed under a bridge we saw him! We were in disbelief! And both of us started screaming "did you see it? did you see that guy?".

  • Outside of having paranormal encounters and encounters with NHI entities. This happened recently, I usually fill the filtered water jug at night before heading to bed. I started the water in the sink to cool it down since I just used the hot water. As the water is running into the sink I notice the water jug is filling up, The faucet water is several inches away from the opening to fill the water jug and going into the sink This went on until the water was at the top of the jug. I have had other experiences too. Makes for an interesting life.

Maybe your parallel universe is a few inches to your left? WEIRD and very interesting!

Based on my encounters I don't discount anything.

I'm so envious of everyone's experiences

I had to re read this one a couple times because I was like wut 👁️👄👁️

Yup, it is one of those matrix clinches I guess, seems to go with the territory.

This is a bit personal so if you’re not comfortable completely understand; when you saw it where you more like “can I even be sure I experienced this like it seemed?” Or because you said you had other encounters it was more like “ok that is weird, but I know what I saw”

The container was almost empty so I had time to stand there and look at it and confirm what I was seeing. Yes, because I have had other strange encounters I was not in shock but in the "ok that is weird, but I know what I saw" mode. I try and view these encounters with curiosity and wonder but I admit some of the more intense encounters have trigger some anxiety afterwards.

Where do you live? By mountains? An ocean? Desert?  High voltage?

Yes, an electric charge can move water. Use a comb and run it through your hair until it's staticy. Put it beside the water flow and it will move towards the comb.

  • Super close with my sisters but especially one of them. I was one day out putting out the trash and the sister I’m closest to walked towards me, hysterically crying, wearing my coat. I blinked and she was gone. I call her, she’s just totaled her car and was a mess (only mentally - thankfully). I drove to the scene (about 20 mins away) to see her, she was wearing the exact same outfit, coat included. It’ll never make sense to me.

That's amazing. I've heard of similar things happening with twins sometimes, really strange.

  • This post reminded me it even happened. Im pretty sure it has some explanation but ill tell it anyway. So i was in my room, it was at night so i entered my bed to sleep.
Suddenly there was this bright blue flash of light for like a second from the middle of the room. Opened the window, didnt find a reasonable cause for it to pop up, freaked out, ever since then i with my head at the other side of bed. Anyways forgot about, and then a few month after something similar.
Saw this flashing blue light , but this time it was on and off a couple of times like a phone or something, from under the bad near the wall. Immediatley pushed the bed to see whats under, and nothing. Something under the bed actually cut me in my finger and i bled. But still dont know what the hell was that...
It was more then 10 years ago, almost forgot about it. Edit: typo

  • Here's my story.

Sometime in the last month, I removed a ring from my right hand and put it in the pocket of my pajama pants. When I tried to retrieve it, I found it was gone. I looked in other pants pockets but couldn't find it. I then thought that perhaps it had worked its way out of my pajamas and ended up under the bed or caught between the mattress and sheets. I finally mentioned it to my boyfriend, thinking that perhaps he'd vacuumed it up, and he said that the ring could not have ended up in the vacuum cleaner without his knowing about it. He'd have seen it (the cleaner has a see-through case that everything sucked up enters) or heard it.

Then some mornings later, after I'd walked in and out of the bedroom several times, I saw something on the floor by the door. Bending down to pick it up, I was astounded to find it was the ring. It had not been there earlier, and yet there it was, sitting on the floor.

I accidentally flicked a distinctive ring out of the car window while smoking a cig. Months later I purchased a bag of individually wrapped Mint Lifesavers. Opened it up at my office grabbed a handful and also somehow grabbed that ring. Same ring, in a brand new bag of candy.

  • Most recent event was a few months ago.. I was sleeping in my room with a boyfriend and the TV was off (which isn't normal, but must of just been that night) and I woke up, just by opening my eyes directly on a bright light in the corner ceiling right above the patio door.. Like someone was just sitting there waking me up for a moment, checking in, watching us sleep..I didnt move or feel startled. I was still quite tired and my boyfriend was sound asleep. Then It just faded away. The room had was very dimly illuminated by it while here and it just faded away and the room became dark again. I just felt calm and closed my eyes and went back to sleep. The next morning I remembered it very vividly.. I think it was someone coming to visit, not sure if it was a loved one or ET, spirit guide etc. Couldn't get the feeling who It was, but it was someone.

Like in Twin peaks when the giant comes to visit !

  • I was at work one day about 20 years ago. I went outside about 2:30 for a smoke break. I look to the treeline on my left and there is something flying toward my direction. It was very very slow, like a floating balloon slow. It wasn’t going up or down, left or right. It was on a very straight line and no more than 150’ above me. It was about 5-6’ across and shaped like an upside down wok. Handle in the rear is the direction it was moving. It went directly over me and made no sound. No moving parts that I could see. No wobbly or wiggle. I watched it disappear over the other horizon. I observed this for 4-5 minutes in total. I don’t know what it was. To this day I can’t even guess. It was nothing I have ever seen or heard of, EVER.

  • I went on a date to see a late showing of a movie back in like 2012. The theater we went to was kind of out in the middle of nowhere. The local theater was sold out since it was a newer movie and we were in a college town. We were too impatient to reschedule, thus why we ended up in a little town 40 minutes away. Whole place was kinda creepy, but the parking lot was fairly packed when we arrived so we figured it was fine.

I distinctly remember pointing out that our movie was not the only one running so late, and even made a comment about how there was another movie that was starting about an hour later if we ended up not liking the one we were there to see and wanted to bail and see something different.

Anyway, oddly enough, there was only one other dude in the theater with us. The lobby had been busy with people both coming and going to the theater hallways, but we didnt think much of it at the time.

After the movie we left the theater before the other guy got up from his seat. We walked out to the lobby. Lights were on, popcorn machines were still on, but there was not a single person to be seen. No employees, no other people at all. We started commenting about how eerie it felt and shouldnt there be an employee posted somewhere in the front area. We kinda hung in the middle of the lobby just talking about how creepy it was.

Dude that was in our theater finally came out, and even he paused and looked around like he was confused. Then he kinda sped walked to the front doors.

Me and my date decided to check the board to see which theater still had a movie playing. We went back to the ticket windows, saw there was one movie that may or may not still be playing based on start time, and one that was for sure still playing. We checked both theaters, but the lights were on in both and the screens were blank. No people.

Spooked, we peaked in all the theaters on that hallway and discovered the same thing. Lights on, no movie playing. I was pretty scared at this point and asked to leave. He had me wait at the entrance to the other hallway while he checked a couple more theaters.

We were both kinda freaked at this point, but still kinda nervously making jokes as we walked back up to the front doors. Lots of "guess they closed early and forgot we were in here" type comments. The doors to the building were tinted, so we couldnt see out into the dark parking lot as we were walking through the lobby.

Once we pushed open the doors, we both panicked.

The lot had SO MANY cars scattered around still. Where the hell were the people?

We both ran to his car and locked our doors as soon as we were in. We debated hanging out and seeing if people eventually came out, but I was lowkey on the verge of a panic attack. As he drove us out, I searched the theater on google. The hours werent listed, but that hadnt struck me as odd when we found the theater earlier because it is kinda in the middle of nowhere in a town that kinda rolls up the sidewalks at sunset, so I figured their hours probably fluctuate depending on whether people come to the advertised later showings.

I called the number listed on google. It didnt ring, just gave the no longer in service message. Thought maybe the number was outdated. I went to the website where we found the showtimes; the number was the same.

At the point I decided to stop digging because I was completely freaked out. My stomach is literally in knots just remembering that night.

Also, I had some of the worst nightmares of my life that night. Maybe just because of how scary the situation felt, but who knows.

  • 2025 in general

For sure. I keep hearing the phrase “I hate this timeline” and it’s so weird because it really feels like this timeline is off. It’s not about me agreeing or disagreeing with things, but just feeling like none of this was supposed to happen.

Like a time traveler came back and derailed everything. Nothing “feels” right, right now.

It hasn’t since Covid.. it felt like the world hasn’t made sense since then to me. As you say it just feels slightly “off” like we stepped into a very slightly different alternate dimension or something where everything is the same but just slightly different and off

I think I have an explanation for the off feeling. Our brains are picking up on the failing ecosystems and it's fucking with us. More superstition,  more aggression,  more tribalism. Covid just added various forms of mass trauma into the mix.

  • Not something I’ve experienced but something that I leaned about. The Scole Experiment. If you’re not familiar it was an inaccurately named series of physical mediumship seances where they were attempting to prove the afterlife. In the course of the 5+ year seances there have been reports of disembodied voices, lights that floated, responded to thought, and entered the body and allegedly heal medical conditions (nothing that couldn’t technically be influenced by belief/placebo though), objects materializing, writing and pictures that appeared on film when blank film was placed in a lock box, spirits allegedly holding their own in conversation of complex disciplines and knowing personal information that they “shouldn’t” disembodied arms and even aliens reportedly being touched.

I severely doubt it was actually face value spirits and aliens. But why I put this in this category rather than simple fraud is because of how inconsistent the sittings were, how it seemed to respond to the mindset of the sitters, and how varied the archetypes and metaphors were used in terms of sophistication. One seance you will get a brilliant metaphor for projection and framing, and the next you get a cartoonish blueprint of a spirit talking device by Thomas Edison or an “typical grey” alien caught on camera. From what I can tell the level of sophistication varied on the outside sitters present. Even if this was intentional fraud, it’ll still amazing the level of cognitive dissonance the mediums would have had for it to turn out the way that it did. Because this wasn’t “I’m going to use cheese cloth to make people think something was coming out of my body” it was “one day I’m going to use psychological drama to explain what exactly is psychologically happening in this room one seance, the next I’m going to create a historically accurate newspaper that pasts tests to show it was printed in the correct time with no aging showing, and the next I’m going to show you a cartoonish picture of what the typical lay believer thinks how this all works.”

Why this is so interesting is because in interviews the mediums seem to remain a very literal interpretation and did not seems to give much way into the metaphorical aspects of what’s happening. With trance, it wouldn’t be out of the question that their speech would be more metaphorical that would be “above their heads” normally, but when you pair it with the creation of objects that would have to be deliberately created to support these metaphors, then we’re left with “how much did the mediums know what they were doing, even psychologically?”

  • Your line on Amazon about the book is perfect: “The universe isn’t a machine that accidentally grew minds. It’s a conscious field learning to look at itself through us.”

That is exactly what I believe and have for a long time. I just haven’t been able to phrase it so concisely.

David, I'd like to hear more about your remote viewing "hit". Please go into more detail about that experience.

Also, I'm not sure what is meant by "consciousness", I guess. To me its meaning is more like "awareness" or a sense of being. This seems to be different than your definition of the word. Can you help me with that?

Also, my understanding is that you are an ER physician. I am in awe of the men and women who take that job on. I would think you must have a different "mindset" than most folks. You must have developed a deep positive attitude about you capacity and capability to help in traumatic situations. How do you keep from losing it day to day. Is it something you think you can face for the longterm?

Sure. Happened to be reading a book that mentioned remote viewing. I had thought it was a conspiracy theory but in the book it wasn’t a punchline they talked about Stargate like it was real, so I looked up the program read all the declassified cia documents including the one explaining how to do it, then found a remote viewing practice website that gives you target numbers associated with a unseen target picture that could be anything. On my first try I got details of the picture that could not be due to chance (I got the entire impression of the photo correct - a road next to a rusty corrugated wall at night with hills in the background) all without ever having seen the source image.

I would define consciousness as the process by which the universe experiences itself. The universe experiences itself by becoming many, so it can look back at itself from every possible viewpoint—through you, through me, through every being and moment.

And thanks for the kind comments about the ER, it’s definitely not a job for everyone - some do it because of the rush, some do it for the variety, some do it because it often features the most resource limited groups (homeless, psych). I’d say I did it for a combination of the above.

The trauma aspect is real and it wasn’t until I started diving into the topics that lead to my book that I started to realize how much the job was affecting me. Part of my book is shaping reality through belief, and I changed my mindset about a year ago that’s lead to a more healthy (physically and mentally) me. Positivity goes a LONG way (optimism even if you don’t believe in manifestation, which I do, has been shown to improve health, well-being, and longevity)

  • When we moved into my house, we found the blueprints to the house when it was built in the late 60s the blueprints to the house were designed by a person with my last name and then my mom‘s maiden last name. It just showed me I was in the right place at the right time and it made me not really question reality but see that synchronicity. I thought you’re going to the gym babe.

Oh wow, that is pretty cool though! And you had no connection through family or anything to the house prior to moving there?

Also I’m going to assume you’re using talk to text and that last sentence was not meant to be in there 😂

Oh my yeah I was using talk to text can’t believe I didn’t see that lol

Made me laugh like a drain. 🤣

  • When I was younger my dad was in hospital & about to pass away, I was alone with him, I knew it was time so I went to call my mam & sister who were down the corridor, I came out of the room down the hall through a set of those heavy hospital double doors, called my mam & sister, as we were go back to my dad walking up the hall those heavy doors burst open & a gush of wind rushed straight past us, was in summer, middle of the night, nothing to explain the doors bursting open like they were kicked or the gush of wind,

This was exactly how I knew my Grandfather was gone, the gust was so strong it almost took an open window off the hinge. My friend whose house I was at half-jokingly said "I swear I just seen a ghost" right after the window blew open and that's when something inside told me it was my Gramps. Well less than half an hour later my mum calls to tell me that he had passed away. Felt like he came to find me to say goodbye.

  • Something like this happened to my mom, she had been looking for an item earlier in the day and couldn’t find it for the life of her. A couple hours later she was sitting on the couch and she saw that specific item literally dropped out of nowhere on the other side of the living room onto the floor. like it was floating and then just dropped due to gravity.

  • In 2017. I went to Houston for an outreach clinic. I took my new-ish Switch, dock and power cord.

When I got finally got back home, I unpacked and couldn't find the power cord. I didn't bring a carry on beside the Swich and the case. My wife had bought me a spare on my birthday, so it wasn't too bad.

7 years go by. The luggage has been replaced twice over. I had moved to another state, and had, again, moved to a new house in the same town.

Then, two years ago, im moving two year old couch to a nearby room. As im pulling the leg rest up, i find that power plug under the couch. It even had the damage on the edge from when I had previously dropped it.

My wife and I have no idea how this happened. Shes a shit liar, so she sucks at pranks like this. We've never been able to explain it

  • An invisible entity interacting with me 3 times over a period of 11 years, all 3 encounters happened in November different years.🤔

I’d love hear more about this!

  • I posted on facebook i wanted to read the tibetans book of the dead. okay so we watched a movie with it in it "enter the void" gave me the idea to read it. So a couple years later that same book in that movie appeared in my book collection i never bought it asked everyone who could of brought it. i threw it away as i was kinda creeped out.

  • When I was a young teenager, I was laying across the bottom of my bed on my back looking up, directly below the domed light fixture in the center of the ceiling. It was a terrible gaudy pink plastic dome style fixture that I chose years before when my mom let my sister and I pick out the fixtures for our rooms(the house was newly built). While laying there I had one of those random intrusive thoughts- ‘imagine this fell on me haha’

It did. A moment later it fell on my face.

Thankfully because it was nearly all plastic I wasn’t hurt. I ran out into the kitchen holding the plastic dome shouting frantically that it had fallen on my face while I was laying under it and how creepy blah blah blah.. My family didn’t believe me. My mom said I must have been messing with it (with an eye roll), and they’d help me put it back up later if it wasn’t broken.

I’m in my thirties now and I’ve never been able to shake the sheer level of coincidence

  • Just months before covid hit. My now husband and I were taking a walk outside. It was a summer night, warm, the night was just setting in. So there was a little light coming from the sky. The street was mostly lit by streetlamps. No wind other than occasional slight breeze.

Suddenly I saw something, um, floating towards us. It was maybe 20 meters ahead. About 100 - 120 cm overhead. The light from the streetlamp bounced off of it in a really weird way, like it was in constant motion within itself. It had a light white-ish color but more like iridescent. Like how spiderwebs look when sun hits them. It was as big as my fist or hand. It was hard to tell exactly how big it was, its borders were all fuzzy and in constant movement. Think of a fist sized ball of spider webs that get pulled into a thousand different directions every moment. I think this is the most accurate picture I can paint.

It flew past us without changing its speed or trajectory. The whole thing took maybe 30 - 40 seconds so it wasn't slow either.

I asked my husband if he was seeing it and yep. His eyesight is 20/20 unlike me, so I asked him what it was. His answer was "I don't know." We discussed what it could be for the rest of the walk.

Some kind of bug? What bug looks or flies like that?

Silk structure for spiders to travel? While those exist, they are much smaller where we live. This thing was as big as my fist. Plus they work like parachutes, more or less. This thing flew overhead where there was no wind and never slowed down or sped up.

??? There was no other thing we could think of as a possibility. It is still to this day the only thing that I saw with my own eyes that I could not categorize in any way. I still can't describe it fully and still wonder what the hell that was

  • I moved into a family home that was roughly 60 years old while in college. Family has passed away in the house, mementos from generations passed are everywhere... I loved it, it felt like home. It was rural, quiet, and private.

I lived with my grandmother who was a snow bird (she went south for winter to avoid snow), leaving me alone for 6 months. At first, it was no big deal. I liked being alone. I left early in the morning for class, worked after, and often came home long after dark. One night, I came home earlier than usual, around 8pm, and when I walked into my house, I froze. Every single cabinet door in my kitchen was wide open. We're talking some 10 cabinet doors. I moved into my living room and found my patio door to my closed patio, open. It was locked that morning, and could only be unlocked from the inside. The closet doors in my den- open. Closet doors in every bedroom- open. Even the bathroom linen closet doors were open. Nothing was out of place or missing. All the exterior doors were closed and locked, as were all the windows. There was no way in, and no one with a key was closer than literal hours away from me. I was freaked out.

I ended up calling my mom, who told me to call police, so I did. Police showed up, went thru my house and searched from basement up, but they didn't find anything. No explanation as to how or what had happened, just an all clear and a business card with instructions to call back if anything else happened. They left, and I was alone.

I shook it off, closed everything up, and tried to go about my business (with every light in the house, on). I had no way of knowing that that was just the beginning of things to come while living in the house. In the next 4 years that I lived there, there were SO many weird, unexplained happenings that I grew numb to it. I never stopped noticing it, I just quit being bothered by it.

I made the mistake of bringing friends over on a couple of occasions without giving them any warning, and each had their own experiences. More than 1 flat out refused to come back, haha. I won't call it ghosts because that sounds ridiculous. But I will say there's an energy in that house, and it did things I just couldn't explain. Funnily enough, I still love that house. And it's still in the family. Maybe one day, I'll go back...

  • Over ten years ago I was working in a large preschool room.

Two other teachers were working at separate tables across the room. I had three children at my table. Two boys across the table and I was sitting next to a girl doing one-on-one work.

Right between us I hear a voice say the girl’s name. “Lily”. Even typing this now my eyes water and I get goosebumps.

The girl asks me without looking at me if I heard that. I told her I did and she says she hears it all the time.

    The others didn’t notice anything.

At the end of the day, a mom friend of Lily’s would pick her up. I was starting to ask her, but I didn’t know how to phrase it …

“Does Lily … has Lily …”

And the woman said, “hear dead people? It is why she doesn’t sleep at night”

And it always made sense how when nap time came she was the first one out and the last to wake up.

  • Paramedic here. I responded to a woman hit by a truck. She was in a ball writhing in pain and we had to put her on a long board(old school). When we put her on the board she went from writhing to calm. I jumped on the ambo to guide the stretcher in and while we put the stretcher in she looked at me, took a deep breath and let out a long exhale. I saw a light come out of her mouth and her color instantly changed. Checked for a pulse and sure enough she had coded(died). Craziest thing I’ve ever seen.

Maybe you witnessed her soul leaving her body.

  • I work in a gym. I come in turn on the clocks and open up all the doors. One morning I came in. Grabbed the clock remote and just threw it in this hole in the wall where some switch boards are. But like deep in where I couldn't get it. It was the strangest thing..I was almost posessed to walk straight in..grab it and throw it in the hole..I have no idea why I did it and don't actually recall having the thought to do so other than I automatically did it. There was nothing routine about it.

  • I posted this to the “Glitch in the Matrix” a while back because I was not sure what was actually happening.

My three sons, their friend, and I were finishing up lunch around 12:00-1:00 p.m.

The boys were sitting at the table that was near a patio door and I was standing beside the table looking towards the living room, which has two additional windows. I watched as the lights in the living room seem to dim and was moving towards us. The boys stopped talking because they noticed as well. My first thought was that the electricity was going out and the lights were turning off from that. But then it registered that the light was going away, for lack of a better word, in a line towards us. It was like a wall of "non-light" moving across the room. The weirdest part was was it was not just inside the house, it was happening outside the house as well. The yard was also not-light any more and the electrical power also cut out with the line.

The line of "darkness" continued until everything went dim to a dusk-like amount. It reminded me of a total eclipse amount of light, except there were no eclipses in this part of the country on that day. Once everything was the equal amount of darkness it stayed dark for just a second or two and then everything seem to just snap back to normal light.

The boys, as I mentioned, had stopped talking and we all just looked at each other trying to figure out what had just happened. I asked them if they just saw that, not specifying I asked them what they saw and they said the lights seem to go away but not in a normal way. I keep kicking myself for not running outside to see if anything was out there but I don't know what would have completely taken the lights out outside as well as made all the lights go away inside the house the way it happened. I felt like I needed to stay calm and not make a scene of it because I don't want the boys to get upset.

The boys were all between the ages of 11 and 16, at that time. I just asked them if they remember this event since then and asked them to explain it to me. They said the same story as above. Does anyone have any ideas on what I experienced? Is there anyone in Northwest Arkansas that also experienced this?

There was an eclipse that was going to go through this region that year but that was in April and this event didn’t have the same timing as an eclipse. It was faster, not to mention the electrical disturbance.

I totally remember your GITM post! Such a strange experience you all had.

  • The black cloud that used to roam my hallways and hold me down in the middle of the night.

  • What a great story. I love hearing stories like that. Do you listen to MrBallen on YT--The Strange, Dark, and Mysterious stories? If not, you're missing out on the best!

  • A few months ago I was at Magic Mountain and was on the Magic Mover, a funicular that has 2 cars with 3 sections inside each car. One car sits atop the mountain and travels down while the other sits at the bottom and travels up. It's basically a shortcut to get up or down the hill.

There was a family with a stroller in the first section. I was by myself in the last section. After I boarded, a group of 4 or 5 kids entered the middle section.

Doors slide closed and we start to ascend up the hill. I was looking down at something my phone, but could hear the murmur of the other passengers. I looked up and out the window at the other car as we passed it halfway up the hill. I looked around the car I was in, and didn't see anyone else.

At the top of the hill, the ride stops, doors slide open, and I'm the only one in the car. I'm not sure what happened but there is no way all those people could've gotten off the ride once it started moving. Especially not with a stroller.

  • This happened about a month and a half ago. We bought a house in October and are remodeling it before we move in. Our dog Rico hadn’t been over to inspect his new yard yet so I brought him over one day. We’d already installed cameras in the front and back, and because there were contractors working there I made sure to bring Rico in on his leash (even though he’s harmless, he’s a Pit mix and I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable). The cameras clearly show me getting him out of the car on his red leash, and the cameras also captures us in the back yard with his leash on. Somewhere off camera in the next few minutes I took him off leash and we walk around the yard where he gives his approval. I don’t remember carrying it around with me after taking it off but also don’t remember going into the house with it either so logically I must have dropped it somewhere in the yard. Eventually we do go inside the house (the contractors left for lunch) to check on the progress and when we go to leave I start looking for the leash. The house is almost empty due to the remodel (as in no furniture or personal belongings just drywall, our new kitchen cabinets that are still in their boxes and various contractor tools) so I start looking out in the yard. Our yard is pretty big but completely enclosed by a chain link fence. It’s also flat as a pancake with no trees and short grass and the leash is BRIGHT RED. I re-walk outside again exactly where Rico and I had just been. No leash. I go back inside and re-check the house (the husband arrives in the meantime and I tell him what happened and he starts helping me look for it). We check the security cameras because at this point I think I’m losing my mind, but lo and behold we clearly see me, Rico and the red leash get out of the car and go into the yard. To this day, we haven’t found it. Keep in mind we didn’t leave the yard, or talk to anyone while outside and nothing weird happened. The contractors were working near the front of the house and have confirmed they haven’t seen it. It’s as if it just vanished into thin air.

  • I love these kinda posts!

  • I was working a night shift at a local hospital about 12-13 years ago. The hospital had a locked psych unit. There was an isolation/padded room that patients stayed in for up to a few hours at a time, if they were being persistently violent towards themselves or others. There was a window in the door and a staff member observing them through the window constantly, for the duration, to make sure they were safe. Once an hour, the door would be opened and they had to be assessed by a physician (me, in this case) face-to-face. The room was only rarely used, thankfully.

On this particular night, I was notified that the room was in use & I’d need to check on the occupant - a middle-aged woman - hourly. The first time I met her, we just stood on either side of the open doorway, facing each other.

The woman had a haunted, empty look. She did not look directly at me. As I looked at her, I had a very distinct thought: “There is nothing behind her eyes right now.”

3 or 4 seconds later, the woman briefly made eye contact, and said to me clearly - “There is nothing behind your eyes.”

She went on to talk and mutter and sing - to herself? to her hallucinations? to - as I wondered then & will always wonder - spirits that had driven her mad?

  • When I was in high school in the 90s, my mom worked at an elementary school as a teacher assistant. The day after the last day of school was teacher work day where they'd go in and wrap things up before summer break.

Well, she brought me with her to help with rounding up textbooks from the classrooms to inventory and put back in the school's book room. My assignment was clear, I was to go to the 2nd grade classrooms and make stacks of the books by subject, so when we take them to the book room, they'd already be sorted properly and ready for shelving. So, I went to the first room and started taking books off the shelf and made my stacks by subject, as instructed. I turn away from my stacks to go get more books out of the desks and when I turned back to my stacks I see that they are all now in one, single tall stack.

I do have to say that this elementary school was supposedly haunted. Like almost all the teachers and staff had at least one story about something weird that happened to them. My mom had her own story of going into an empty classroom when the kids were at PE and there was a kid sitting backwards at a desk and she said to him, "You're supposed to be at PE, what are you doing in here?" before he vanished into thin air.

And apparently the classroom where this happened to me was the most "active". It's the same one where my mom saw the kid. There were other employees who saw a kid's figure or shadow in there as well. Weird.

  • Well it's long but it's true one day a sparrow flew though my window when I had it opened and landed on my lamp and looked at me for a few minutes and then flew right out of the window I think nothing of it will about the same week my mentor and his wife was in the hospital with COVID and passed away few days apart. well the same thing few years later except this time the sparrow land on the back porch and I seen it because we had the backdoor opened to let the house air out will it looked at me well that night I found out my sister passed away.

  • If you've made it this far down the comments, I hope you'll stick around for this one:

In 2013, I worked as a baker at a small cafe in central Arizona called the Wild Iris (still in business). It was an old building with a reputation for being haunted among staff.

At the time, I was skeptical but curious, so I asked coworkers about their experiences. I heard stories from bakers coming in at 4 a.m. who couldn’t get the lights to work until the 5 a.m. barista arrived, and others about rags flying off counters or moving when people turned away. I remember feeling oddly compelled to have my own experience and felt very “open” to something happening.

One night, I was working after hours with two coworkers, dusting the air ducts. We covered everything with tarps. In the bakery (a tiny space connected to the coffee area), I threw a tarp over a tall rolling speedrack filled with empty squeeze bottles. When I climbed my stepladder to begin dusting, I noticed a single squeeze bottle sitting on top of the tarp.

There was no storage above it, nothing but ceiling and air ducts. And I had just covered it. None of us could explain how it got there.

The next night, I told everyone about it. Eventually it was just me and one barista closing. No one was in the shop. We spent hours talking about paranormal stuff and seriously creeping ourselves out, but at one point many hours into the conversation, I asked her if we could stop because the energy suddenly felt REALLY off, like I just was completely paralyzed by fear out of nowhere.

Shortly after, I bent down to grab a trash bag from under the sink when I heard a sound behind and above me, like a woman’s voice, but mixed with a growl. It was loud, static-y, and completely unlike anything I’d ever heard, almost like it came from another dimension.

I froze, trying to rationalize it, because it wasn’t the radio (I knew the song), and it wasn’t my coworker (not her voice). I turned to her and asked, “What was that noise?” She stared at me and said, “I thought that was you.”

We were both standing equal distance from the espresso bar, where several cups were stacked. After a moment of stunned silence, we both noticed something move between us. One of the cups floated a couple inches into the air, wiggled side to side, then gently lowered back down. Right where the noise would have come from.

We looked at each other, confirmed we both saw it, then absolutely ran to the bathroom laughing hysterically, adrenaline through the roof. I remember saying something like, “OKAY, I GET IT — I BELIEVE YOU.” Not the scariest thing ever, but still the most bizarre and unexplainable thing I’ve ever experienced.

  • So I come from a village in South Africa.

So our house was on a homestead on the far far end of the yard. My room unfortunately was on the other side of the house,if you looked out the windows you could see the grave yard. It was a little bit far as there was a patch of land and a good separting us but you could still see it.

One night I just couldn't sleep. We weren't allowed to watch TV late because there was adult content at that time. Yes on TV. So I knocked on my mom and dad's room and told her I couldn't sleep she let me in and then went straight to the bathroom and for some reason I just went straight to the window.

Guys I saw a ball of light floating, just moving from the direction of the graveyard. My mom also came by and we just watched it dumbfounded. Recently I asked her anout it cause I thought maybe I had dreamt or imagined it. My mom confirmed it to be true. Till this day I don't know what that ball of light was

  • I used to collect Taylor Swift stuff.

I had 3 of the 4 Lover journals. While moving them, i dropped them. When i bent down to pick them up, there were only 2. I looked everywhere but couldn't find them under anything or in that room on the floor.

I continued moving and setting up my new room, i put out all my Taylor stuff in a display, including the 2 journals.

Months later, i looked up from my bed at the display, and all 3 journals were there. All 3 remain in attendance.

  • This was about 2-3 years ago. I was going pee in the middle of the night. Our primary bedroom has an attached bathroom and closet. I was not wearing my glasses but there was ambient light from the Xbox and a night light and I saw what appeared to be a solid black figure, about the size of a garden gnome, run from my bedroom, across my bathroom and vision, and into my closet. I told myself I was just sleepy and 1/2 blind, but it was def a little creature or some kind which is crazy to admit haha. I have always been scared of my closet, only at night tho, and was scared of it before that happened. No animals, my only child at the time was 5 or 6 and my hubby was asleep in bed. It was literally like 10” tall, kind chubby, completely black, silent, and bipedal. Couldn’t see hair or arms or clothes or anything like that.

  • A dress i wore 3 years ago kept disappearing. In November, i looked in my cupboard and on a hanger, with dresses that i had arranged the night before, was the dress from 3 years ago.

I was gobsmacked then, and i still am now.

  • My brother and I have always had a strange connection, able to sense or feel each other even over long distances. When we were young and moved to a new totally unfamiliar city together he asked me for a ride to his new girlfriend’s house. I had only met her once or twice and knew next to nothing about her. She lived in another medium sized city about 20 min away which I had never been to before other than passing it on the freeway. He quickly directed me to a residential street and said she lived on it and asked me to just drive until I knew which one was hers. The street was very long, at least 20 blocks, and I told him he was crazy. He turned away from me and said “just pull in when you feel it. I’m not saying anything. You’ll know.” So we drove in silence for several blocks and he wouldn’t look at me. He sat perfectly still. I turned into a random driveway, nothing recognizable at all, no vehicles in front of the house, nothing I knew in any way could be related to her. She runs out the front door right then and he looked at me and smiled. We still do things like this to each other. So many I can’t count them all. Should note that we are Apache and believe in ancient attachments and communication, and had practiced as kids “calling” each other by just feeling for the other mentally, with our memories of the other’s smells, touch, laughter, and love to guide us. It’s a wild thing and very hard to believe let alone explain, but we tap into it as a family often.

  • When I was 19 I was heading out to meet my friends and the job we worked at. We were going to go play pool so I was headed to help them close up so we could all go earlier. I couldn’t find my keys. I looked everywhere. Checked my pockets(skinny jeans) and they weren’t there. I spent like 10 minutes looking for them. I was frantic. I checked my pocket again and suddenly they were there. I only lived like 5 minutes away. so i drove over there and when i got there i found out that they had just gotten robbed at gun point. One of my co workers got pistol whipped. One of my friends was punched in the face and the other was dragged to the back at gunpoint.

  • A portal opening in my bedroom and a winged and horned skinny what I can only describe as a devil came through the portal, I could hear it's claws upon the floor of my bedroom. It proceeded to levitate me above my bed and spin me around in circles.

That was one of the numerous encounters with entities that made me question the nature of reality.

It's smiling creepy dagger like teeth was the disturbing part as I could see and feel it's enjoyment as it was attempting to terrify me as it entered my room and crept around clicking it's claws on the floor.

Well that is certainly terrifying. Was this something like sleep paralysis or were you fully awake when it happened?

The only thing that is clear to me after a fifty year long awareness of entities, spirits and other phenomenon I have encountered, is that certainly my reality is nothing like what was explained to me it should be.

I have been fully conscious, completely awake at times, others, in-between sleep and being awake, occasionally other persons who also were witnesses to certain events that have occurred have been present.

I have my own thoughts on what it is, however my conclusion is this reality is not what it appears to be and is not limited to physical beings, who work, have mortgages and pay bills have holidays and 2. 4 children a car and a happy ever after life.

It is bizarre strange and at times defies logic. I have questioned every experience and scrutinized it again and again. Asking many questions most people do of themselves who have been subjected to such things.

Truthfully i don't know why this is something I experience or have witnessed and other people never see or experience anything like this.

UFO's, spirits, devils, angels, ghosts and other beings, portals alternative realities and dimensions are very real in my life experiences.

I also understand why some people instantly dismiss it, because it is so incredible it cannot be true...can it?

Every word of it is true. That's what I can't explain no matter how hard I try to rationalize what our reality actually is, I know it isn't what we think it is at all.

Your experiences are exactly what I feel i'm lacking. After 50 yrs of being Mulder, I want to believe, but have yet to experience anything I can't logically explain. I need to experience something, or life's just going to be a big bowl of vanilla pudding. Bland.

  • I've had multiple experiences. So many that it is difficult to pick the weirdest because they are always weird but the scariest was getting a phone call from a demon. It was around the year 1992. I was living alone with my daughter, she was one year old. I was a single mom at the time but had a boyfriend, we were asleep in my bed in my room with my baby and it was around 3 am the phone was on a cord back then, in the living room. We'll it was 3 am and the phone started ringing but we both didn't want to get up to answer it. But it would not stop ringing, I did not have a answering machine at the time, so I woke up my boyfriend and told him please go answer it but he was dead tired and said no just ignore it they will hang up. We'll, they did not stop ringing. It rang approximately 100 times and I got so stressed, I jumped out of bed and answered the phone very very Angrily saying " Whaaaaattttttt" and omg when I tell you, the scream is heard back was absolutely not human. It screamed in a horrifying Growl sound and so loud it injured my ear with reverberation. I THREW THE PHONE ACROSS THE ROOM AND UNPLUGGED IT !! I ran back in bed and was scared shitless!! This is only one story. I have many. But God is my Protector! NO FEAR

  • Back before I retired, I was a directional driller and sometimes our jobs would take us to the middle of nowhere, when you’re sitting on a machine and just looking around I would notice things not all the time but quite frequently when were set up in the forest, it was like watching another universe for a lack of better description rub against the one we were in. After some time a young man who I had trained to run the machine came to me one day and says to I want to ask you a question but I’m afraid you’ll think I’m crazy and he began to explain to me how he had seen the same thing I had seen. I told him if he was crazy, so was I because yes I have seen it many times and all over the country. ( I did tell him however I wouldn’t go telling anybody! We both may get a padded vacation)

  • An out of body experience and my mom visited me after she passed.

  • I saw a ghost once. I was working in a restaurant that was in a <100 year old building. Just about to lock up after everyone had left, I was the last one in the building. Due to break-ins, we had to lock up the building in a certain consecutive order, and that included turning off the lights and turning on alarms. I had walked through the entire building and I was certain I was alone.

Right before I was going to set the last alarm and head out, I looked into the dark dining room to see a glowing man walk through the space looking directly at me. He had a moustache and was wearing a big dark apron. Freaked me the fuck out. I turned on all the lights, made sure there wasn’t an actual person there and then got the fuck out of there. I was skeptical of ghosts before, but I’m convinced now. Scared me half to death but more so out of shock than anything.

Never liked being alone there at night since. I would always have music or the tv playing at all times. Some other co-workers had encountered spirits in the building as well, but there was a big language barrier and we never worked on the same shift (them always open, me always close).

  • When I was a kid, we had a pepper grinder that just disappeared. It was on the kitchen counter one night at dinner, then it wasn't. Never seen again in the 10 years we lived at that house.

  • I had a similar but much less dramatic story that I still laugh about. I'm from Ireland but went on holidays to California a few years back. While in Haight & Ashbury shopping, I found these awesome silver crucifix earrings and buy them. We continue our travels down to LA and one night we get pissed drunk and return to our hotel room. I remember clearly take BOTH earrings out and placing them on the coffee table in the room with my rings, bracelets etc. Anyway next day I'm putting my stuff away and there's only one earring there. I search the entire area around the table and nothing. Checked my jacket, upturned my entire handbag just in case. Nothing - nada. Even when we were packing a few days later to go home, I rechecked all my bags, my coats etc. nope. Just the one earring remaining. These aren't small either, like they're fairly big droop earrings.

When I got home I emptied my bags, over the course of months I turned my handbag inside out multiple times to find keys etc and even washed it several times in the washing machine (it's one of those fabric-y hippie style shoulder bags). Anyway one random day months later, yet again I turn my bag upside down to clean it out and out falls the earring. I'm crazy confused and think it's the other one I still had, so I go upstairs to put it in my jewellery box and lo and behold the other one is already there.

I have absolutely no idea how this thing showed up in my handbag months later. Like my bag wasn't near the table when I took the earrings out and I distinctly remember both being there, when I took off my jewellery. But even at that, I searched that bag multiple times over the course of months for different things, I even washed it! It never once appeared when when I had the bag inside out. And it wasn't a huge bag with loads of mysterious pockets or folds or anything. Still scratch my head on that one years later. 😅

  • When i was 18, for about 3 months, i had been journaling frequently, wishing i knew if there really was God, or what the mysteries of life were. Well one day i was in the basement alone, just sitting and daydreaming (before smartphone era) and all of a sudden i just knew there was an 8 foot tall being in the basement by the window which was 12-15 ft away from me.

There was nothing physically there, i cannot explain it. But i knew without a doubt that this being was there. It was neither male nor female, it was like other? Like alien to a human. Anyway it began communicating with me but in my mind, like a flow of information without words as if we were having a conversation.

It told me that I was at the divide of two life paths, and currently it was known that i would likely pick the harder of the two, but it was my choice and i could have a much easier path to happiness if i followed the other. Either way, i would find happiness at the end of both, it would just take longer if i did the harder. There was no judgement either way, just the being was sent here to give me a message with this warning.

At the end of this flow of information (where i am looking around the room, questioning my reality, wondering if I'm going crazy, being astounded that I of all people had been chosen to have a messenger sent - so the thing probably had to be low on the totem pole) the being asked if i would like to experience God's love. I said yes!

Immediately it was like I was no longer in my body. I was everywhere and nowhere at once. There was this magnificent, comforting feeling of love surrounding every particle of every single cell. There are no words to actually describe the feeling, except that it's amazing and beyond comprehension. I felt the being there with me in that place guiding me, and i was a leaf on a tree blowing in the wind with sunlight warming me, I was part of the air, I was part of the grass, etc.

Then suddenly, i was back in my body. I begged the messenger to take me back there and was heartbroken when it said it wasnt my time yet. It had to leave. And then it was just gone. And i was left to question my reality and panicked, thinking that i had a mental breakdown or something.

But it was real. Idk if it was an alien or an angel, or what. But i know that god is incomprehensible and good. That every life is precious, no matter how small, and there is a feeling of love and acceptance all around us, we just can't tap into it. God isn't a person, it's what keeps life flowing. There is no words to really describe what i felt but it was unbelievably life altering.

I swear this is true, and if anyone has any ideas on what i experienced, i would really appreciate any feedback.

  • Keys just aren't here sometimes.

  • My grandpa drove an old yellow ford truck, and the radio never worked. We were leaving his last living brother’s funeral, and when he turned his truck on, the radio was on and loudly started playing Amarillo by Morning by George Strait, his brother’s favorite song. The radio never worked after that song ended, it went static and then just shut off. He ran out of the truck to our car so fast, we couldn’t believe it.

  • When I was 13, I was lying awake one night, praying. For context, I grew up very religious - something similar to Pentecostal. We believed that god speaks to people directly. I was frustrated because I felt like god was ignoring me. The frustration built until I mentally yelled out, "God, say something!"

Right then, I felt a foreboding feeling wash over me. I can't describe how I perceived the words, but somehow I saw or heard or felt "10 days." I knew something terrible would happen on the 10th day.

I counted down from that day forward. Wrote it on my calendar and in my journal (which I still have today). I tried to live every day with no regrets. I told my loved ones that I loved them and spent extra time with them. I thought maybe I was going to die on the 10th day.

On the 10th day, I awoke to my mom yelling from downstairs. Telling me to wake up; something was wrong with my dad; she thought he might be dead. I thought there was no way - certainly he was just unconscious or something and my mom was overreacting. But when I got downstairs and saw him lying on the floor, it was immediately obvious that he was deceased.

For the record, I now consider myself Agnostic, but this experience is a big part of what's kept me from going full Atheist. Of course I'll never be able to prove it, but I have that journal with entries describing the "vision" or whatever you want to call it, and the subsequent entries counting down the days. I also told a couple people about it leading up to the 10th day and they've since confirmed.

It is truly the strangest thing I've ever experienced - but it was also a blessing, because I spent so much time with my dad during those last 10 days. I believe the last thing I ever said to him was that I loved him. Without this vague warning, who knows what my last memories with him would have looked like.

  • I am a senior. ( as in old lol) In recent years I questuon everything-God, heaven, hell, pyshics, mediums, etc etc. However I cant get out of my head something that happened many years ago. My son was about 2 and a half. I had put him to bed and awhile later I hear him talking. Im not positive but i think i remember when walking in hearing him sayinghe didnt want to. Any way, i do remember what he said when i asked who he was talking to. He said, a lady. I asked what color hair, he said brown. What she was wearing, a blue dress. Glasses. He described my mom and the color dress she wore at her viewing. I asked what she said n he said she wanted him to go with her but he didnt want to. If it was my mom though why wouldnt he say MomMom? We lived next door they were close. It makes me skeptical of ny skepticism, though.

  • So my husband and my daughter were swapping rooms - she was moving to what used to be his office (upstairs), and he was moving to her room (downstairs). I’m into Feng Shui so I decided to paint a mural in her room to ground the second floor. By Feng Shui, if you don’t ground the room, it may make one feel uneasy, sort of like “hanging in the air”. So I painted sky, ice mountains, and more green mountains in the front. I grew up in Kazakhstan, I would see Tian Shan mountains out of my window, so that’s what I was painting. I painted for two days, and was on the last stretch on day #3. On that day, weather got crazy and it was thundering, and at some point thunder was so loud, as if it was right above our house. Then I heard a screech sound, like a glass break. My husband wasn’t home, so I went outside/inside, checked every room, didn’t find any broken glass, etc. Electricity didn’t go out, but most breakers got knocked out. After my husband came back home we realized our AC was down. AC people came to check and after an entire day of investigation, they determined that copper pipe burst, causing Freon leakage. The next step was to find where the burst happened. And out of all the places, pipes that go through first and second floor of our house, it burst right at the top of the ice mountain!!! The AC guy said lightning most likely hit the ground and energy traveled through the pipes , from first to second floor and happen to burst right at the top of the mountain. Highest point in the room I guess 😂 Anyways, $6000 later for AC, we also had to patch the wall and I painted a tree where the patches were lol.
