Correct on chronic neck issues and pain. CCI (craniocervical instability)
I constantly feel like my head is too heavy for my neck. Lots of migraine and eye issues.
Aswell as artery dissections (small tears in the neck arteries), CCI causing instability, and disc bulges from the extra strain on my spine.
I actually am recovering from a major surgery where surgeon reconstructed the nerves and arteries in my neck and removed neck muscles anterior and median scalenes (as well as my first rib) because of all compressed and twisted it is in there.
I had blood flow completely cut off in certain postilions. Which could easily lead to embolism, strokes, aneurysms, take your pick.
If you click my profile you can see my most recent surgery scar.
My older brother slept like this growing up and still does and he is almost 40. He is double jointed though in many places 😂 it was creepy going to wake him up for school when we were younger. All contorted n sheeeet
I’m hypermobile. This comment made me curious so I tried it and yep, I can do this easily lol. I don’t even really feel it in my neck. There’s a little bit of stretching sensation in the shoulder that’s closer to the bed, not painful though.
But how are you supposed to prevent it if the baby does it while sleeping? My kids are fortunately much older already, but when they started moving around in their sleep as babies there was no way to monitor them at all times and keep them from turning in certain positions. Thank God they never pulled stunts like this though.
My son was born 28wks and didn't leave the NICU for almost 3mos. When he was finally discharged we were told he has to be a bit elevated when he sleeps because he risks choking flat on his back.
Yeah we learned exactly why, he constantly spits up l, we were going through so much clothes and bibs per day but elevating him posed a pretty big issue where he keeps rolling into the walls of the bassinet.
I was a first time mom and I was just full of anxiety as it is from his possibly stop breathing (was probably never going to happen but it happened a lot in the NICU) and now i fear him choking from the bassinet itself or putting him what is considered the safest position but to him specifically it wasn't.
We did what was considered the worst and had him sleep on our chests. But you know thats dangerous and causes the most deaths right? Yes I know and I literally did not sleep a wink besides a hour a day for MONTHS. Worst times of my life but I was scared and he did fine that way.
There are exceptions to every rule, and it sounds like you were one. You understood and mitigated the risks, Baby turned out ok. Solid win parenting in my book.
I live in Finland. And every nurse/doctor/midwife that I asked about it said it's fine to sleep with your baby (but the parents of course can't be under the influence of alcohol/sleeping pills, the mattress has to be firm etc) Our firstborn slept a lot on his dads chest. Our twin babies slept between us. Many of my friends has slept with their baby, and my sisters and brother with their children. It's just so easy to nurse when the baby sleeps next to you. Infant mortality rate is one of the lowest here. Even though many of us sleep with their baby AND the babies take their naps in strollers outside year around. Even or especially during the winter :D Man the babies sleep well when the air is crisp. And may of us take their babies to (not too hot!) sauna when the baby is over six months old. We're crazy like that.
What I want to say every country has different recommendations. But the babies work the same way 😂 so I didn't at first understand what was so wrong about letting the baby sleep on your chest.
Yeah unfortunately in reddit and America your a terrible parent for it, I remember telling this same story and people condemned me for it with one person in particular who just could not read saying flat on back is best.
Im just like yo did you READ! It was literally reccomended against from his doctor to NOT sleep on his back! And I literally did not sleep a wink for months at a time to make sure he was ok.
I could not trust my husband at all though, he has proven many times he cannot watch a baby alone. Caught him twice where if I wasn't so full if anxiety I probably would have lost BOTH my kids.
With the current advancements in Video generating AI honestly the only way to tell Fake AI videos is by pointing out the illogical things, once you can it becomes really apparent what is AI.
Unfortunately though once in a while there are Minimalist videos, where you can't see anything unusual because there are very less number of things to begin with.
Hopefully showtoolsai picks this up. You'd be surprised how many videos that had nothing uniquely ai that i was able to figure out after seeing his videos
I meant in context of finding AI use, with the newer models the only way you'll know is through " illogical things" which in most cases are things like Phone backside that matches with no phone ever made, Illogical clothing choices or things happening for no reason.
As i said you can watch AI reveal channels for the most part.
Also one general rule that i learned by watching these channels is that 99.9% videos where animals are showing kindness are fake.
Yea they just come out like a bag of bones, then the doctors slowly rearrange and connect them, it's a manual job and is very time consuming. That's why it's called labor and takes so long.
When my daughter was 3 months old, she had torticollis which is where she struggled to turn her head in one direction, so we took her to physiotherapy.
There the physiotherapist said that it might look scary when you're stretching your babies head to the side, but that their heads can turn a lot more than we can as adults.
I want to believe she means these levels but I would still definitely recommend bringing the baby to a doctor! :') I would've screamed if I woke up and saw our baby like this.
Like who figured that out? Someone twisted a babies head and was like “wow that shit just keeps going”. Just like how babies can naturally float. Someone threw a baby in the water without knowing they could naturally swim and was all “son of a bitch. That unwanted baby can swim”.
As a nurse in the ER I was gonna say thing. A lot of “SIDS” bay are found exactly like this
Which then changes it to accident death :/ very devastating
Not me no I’m in the ER but we had had infants come in being held
I’ve seen videos of nanny cams. And worst of all I’ve seen it front line explaining to parents we cannot do anything else. I get you’re frustrated from a different point of view but this does not make me nor you wrong. We are both right on different patches of land. I won’t further anymore on this topic.
Edit. Read everything and make sure you comprehend
I’m not fixing anything on my original comment because spelling errors and you need to see what you think you read because it’s not what you think it was clearly
What the hell is this comment chain? Your comment isn't hard to understand.. you work in the ER, parents find their infant in bed, twisted, and bring them in to the ER (where you work) and you witness this because you work were panicked parents go.
These people that commented to you are whack, dude...
It's been a minute since I've read Good Omens and I can't tell if these are actual quotes from the book or just very much sound like Aziraphael and Crowley.
I mean babies are basically rubber (not that I would suggest tossing one down the stairs to see if it bounces) but the things that they can do that adults and even teens can't is INSANE
I am too. Fortunately, to your point, babies are resilient. I’m mostly healthy, though one of my eyes doesn’t quite work and I can’t smell. Beyond that, I’ve lived a perfectly happy life!
That's really fucked the parent didn't adjust the child immediately. Leading cause of infant death is sids and asphyxiation. Not to mention the child could be reducing its oxygen supply enough to give itself brain damage. But hey, gotta record it first.
Ai slop. Look at the shadows, and if you look carefully at the finger movements, as well as the fact that the baby's head clips into the bed when it's turning.
On instagram its very common so see these types of videos , they usually have those betting app ads in the white section , so i did remove the stake ad on the video but not the music .
...maybe have them checked for hypermobility issues when they get older. Look into EDS, a connective tissue disorder that makes people bendy, but also has other side effects like sublexed joints, rolling veins, and much more

Imagine retaining this skill into adulthood and using it to scare the fuck out of your partner
Reverse doggy
Missionary doggy style
anything is possible with Shrek lol
Doggy with a kiss

Saw this movie a few days ago. I always thought the demon was just trying to be scary, it was actually making fun of the way it killed Burke.
I am that adult who retained this skill. It's actually called instability. It has ruined my life but it's a cool party trick.
Knew a dude back in my Air Force days who could turn his head 180 degrees.
poor quality video of it.
well that's horrifying
Dude was a weirdo, even in Air Force terms.
WTF 😳
l saw this in person, this was taken when he was at the tech school.
what the fuck lol
Should not have clicked that on lunch break
That..:was gnarly!! And a cool party trick!
I got some nice shoulder tears from it :'/
Yeah, we're going to need info on how it ruined your life. Lol

Ehlers danlos. If he hasn't, he should go to his doctor about this. There are health consequences.
Imagine a tall one saying “hey, I wouldn’t do that if were you” looking down on you as you try to pickpocket them or slap their rear
I’m hypermobile. This comment made me curious so I tried it and yep, I can do this easily lol. I don’t even really feel it in my neck. There’s a little bit of stretching sensation in the shoulder that’s closer to the bed, not painful though.
Same lol
I'd see a doctor about that. Hate for a twisted neck to turn into a closed windpipe.
You dont need a doctor to tell you not to let your babies neck turn 180 lmao.
These parents are simple

He is 6yrs old now and thriving
Never doing that shit again

I firmly believe when it comes to co-sleeping that you don't sleep.... You wait with your eyes closed. 😂
Yeah unfortunately in reddit and America your a terrible parent for it, I remember telling this same story and people condemned me for it with one person in particular who just could not read saying flat on back is best.

That's the great thing, this is fake.
I hope you're right. You probably are.
Look how the fingers are moving. And frame to frame if needed the neck when the baby turns their head
It's sped up. That's why the finger movement looks off.
There is literally nothing in this video that suggests this is fake
Is this what being stupid is like?
With the current advancements in Video generating AI honestly the only way to tell Fake AI videos is by pointing out the illogical things, once you can it becomes really apparent what is AI.

This isn’t illogical though, this is just something babies can do due to the weaker muscle development in their neck.
I meant in context of finding AI use, with the newer models the only way you'll know is through " illogical things" which in most cases are things like Phone backside that matches with no phone ever made, Illogical clothing choices or things happening for no reason.

I mean in the past people believed in witchcraft and sorcerery
Ai is just our version
lmao are the parents supposed to stay awake 24/7 to make sure the baby doesn't do this? Moron.
A doctor is exactly who you'd want to provide advice/tools to prevent this.
Listen, some people are simple. Lol
Babies who can roll shouldn't be strapped down
Babies who can dance shouldn't be put in the corner
Aren’t babies born without their bones being connected though?
Your thinking of the skull not being fused.
And kneecaps. Those don't grow in until later.
Oops mb I just checked it’s mostly the bones in their arms and legs. Don’t know enough to say about their neck though
they are like 3/5 gumby, helps if you drop them
Yea they just come out like a bag of bones, then the doctors slowly rearrange and connect them, it's a manual job and is very time consuming. That's why it's called labor and takes so long.

As a nurse in the ER you often found SIDS babies? Bullshit.
Most SIDS cases are found lying prone. Stop making shit up on the internet.
Get em

What ER nurse is actively seeing SIDS babies before they're taken out of their cribs?
And nowhere did I say I find them ? Read other comments for clarification
Call an excorcist.
Now.
"Who's my little anti-Christ?"
"Yesh you are are! Yesh you are."

-insert image of Mom armed with a broom, swatting at Baby- "Get down here, you need to nap!!"
Bishop went on a vacation and never came back
I tried laying like that, uncomfortable as heck, 2/10, would not recommend (how was that baby even comfy??)
I mean babies are basically rubber (not that I would suggest tossing one down the stairs to see if it bounces) but the things that they can do that adults and even teens can't is INSANE
My biological father threw me down the stairs when I was eight weeks old. I, in fact, did not bounce.
I am so sorry that happened to you.
I am too. Fortunately, to your point, babies are resilient. I’m mostly healthy, though one of my eyes doesn’t quite work and I can’t smell. Beyond that, I’ve lived a perfectly happy life!
The can't smell part actually might be a good thing, if you live in a major city. That way, you can't smell the urine in random doorways.
I’m also sorry this happened to you. Your biological father sounds like a miserable piece of shit. I wish you every happiness in his absence.
Sample size too low
You'll never know if they bounce if you don't try (don't)
yeah babies move like theyre made of jelly sometimes, every time you think theyll snap they just casually rotate like its nothing
Babies are elastic and they sleep HARD. I always looked at my kids sleeping with great envy. I would kill to get a nap as good as their sleep looks.
It's edited engagement bait.
It can still happen, my parents found me sleeping like that 9 years ago and I’ve had neck problems ever since (I was not a baby btw)
fake slop shit
and 146 upvotes in 15mins??? come on now
It's bots all the way down.
Every other post on r/all is made by a repost bot or it's ragebait. It's maddening :(
At least give a reason why you think it's fake. Looks real to me.
It’s real, it’s just reversed.
It looks fake to me

So that’s a demon.
Ai slop. Look at the shadows, and if you look carefully at the finger movements, as well as the fact that the baby's head clips into the bed when it's turning.
yeah this is probably ai, it looks unnatural and awkward, also i dont think you can casually turn your head 180º
Does she frequently vomit pea soup?
Sprinkle some holy water on it juuust incase
This is AI
"I thought the baby wasn't breathing so I filmed it for clout." Why are parents so garbage these days?
Bro i am not the parent , i found this video on instagram
So, are you claiming that you’re not responsible for the shit soundtrack slapped over it?
I mean why post it at all if it has clown music?
On instagram its very common so see these types of videos , they usually have those betting app ads in the white section , so i did remove the stake ad on the video but not the music .
No, but if it isnt ai: There is a parent who filmed this and put it on instagram instead of checking to see if their baby is actually breathing.

Hypermobility. Kid should probably have their joints evaluated.
Whensomeone stops breathing, their skin color gets unhealthy quickly. Good skin tone means they're alive.
Holy shit. I'm so not ready to see another dead baby.
ANOTHER?!
Babies are, a little more squishy and flexible.
TIL why I wake up and have a stiff neck all day
Let him cook
It is your responsibility to ensure they're well versed in the martial arts
The first full nights sleep I poked him. Thought he was dead. Haven’t slept in 15 months to date.
The complete lack of owl gifs in the comments is a disgrace!
Half human, half owl 🦉
Wait, what??
I don't like that.
...maybe have them checked for hypermobility issues when they get older. Look into EDS, a connective tissue disorder that makes people bendy, but also has other side effects like sublexed joints, rolling veins, and much more
Mine just sleeps like she lost a fight against Goku.
Nah
Makes me nervous
Imagine waking up looking on a baby monitor and seeing the baby like that
Is the father an owl?
Madeline Ashton?
Ok. This is officially the only thing I have seen here that made me gasp in shock
My next hurt looking at that
i thought that was one of those reborn dolls with its head on backwards 😭
I feel cynical for thinking this is AI
Kids is rubber, man. It’s crazy.
I would have freaked out and thought by baby had died twisting its neck omg no....
when your previous life was as an owl.
I need an old priest and a young priest.
I'm not religious but I be calling a priest :x
Poor parenting. Babies necks aren't fully developed at this age.
https://i.redd.it/se3bgg47po6g1.gif
I would have freaked out.
💀💀💀
that baby ain’t right
This is AI
Babies are always trying to eliminate themselves ✋😩
Oh, so it IS just how it looks. I was expecting it to turn out to be an illusion.
Ah yea, mine slept like an exorcist ghost twisting the body.
This is AI right?!?
Wow..that's genuinely freaky as shit! I'd...I don't know...wow.
Amazing what you can do when you don’t know that you can’t do it :)
This gotta be AI becuase if it’s not…
https://i.redd.it/iidhqco89p6g1.gif
I remember I always check on my baby chest when he’s sleeping..
Aw hell no.
Eds baby
That’s a no from me. I’d be so uncomfortable for the rest of that kids life
I thought it broke its own neck.
Demon right in sight
Reminds me of something my cousin did in his sleep. This would scare ts out of me if I saw that irl
I have detected your presence. I will change my pose Accordingly.
Another reason to not have kids. Not sure if possesed or sleeping.
nothing_to_see
Tried this when I was 18, now I’m 8 and feels alright
If i try to do that as an adult my neck will stay locked for 6 months
That can't be. Must be AI generated. 🤔🤔
🤣😂
I thought it was dead
I saw a babyy sleeping with a doggy pose 😭😭😭
Shouldn’t we kill it while it’s still young and somewhat defenceless?
Hes gonna feel that as soon as he turns 29
Im sorry but how do you not freak out and fix the baby's head immediately?
https://i.redd.it/loewjl2wns6g1.gif
Damien?
The power of Christ compels you!
And then he is talking in his sleep
I’d be nervous af if my baby slept like that
Great, another SIDS device
Yeet the baby out of the window
Human owl hybrid…
"why did my baby get SIDS?!"
Somebody call an exorcist
Me testing this out and immediately pulling a muscle in my neck 😭
