Looks like the author scientists are wondering how to make human users better accept the Sony robot dog Aibo as “real” and not Uncanine (uncanny and weird) or simply a robotic “not-dog.”
At first I immediately assumed this was an AI-generated fake paper but looking more closely I think it’s legit.
