Привіт! I am a native speaker from Ukraine. I want to help people who are learning my language. If you have questions about grammar, pronunciation, or just want to practice chatting, feel free to comment here or DM me!
Привіт! I recently got a job working front desk where I have to answer phones and make appointments while translating to Ukrainian. The use of себе still confuses me a little, if I could have a little help with that please. Like if I say вам треба назначити appointment (how do you even say that by the way) с своїм counselor, is that right, or should I say вам треба назначити appointment с вашим counselor? Дуже дякую 🙏🏻
Дякую! I'll message you if I have any questions. Your language is cool and beautiful - so melodic and a lot easier than I thought. The cases do not intimidate me at all lol
What's the difference between додому and вдома? I had that question for a while now... Also what online resources would you recomment to learn grammar and the declinations. Im trying to get to know words before getting into that but im curious already. (I dont have enough time to learn but i want to learn).
Hey, I grew up speaking Ukrainian I might be able to help with your question. The prefix до- means to, so додому means to home. That would be used to say something like я їду додому. The prefix в- basically means at,in,etc. you would use that to say something like я вдома or я оставила кофту вдома. Hope that helps and hope it's right haha.
Привіт Дякую За допомогу

Do you need a statement or a question? Зі своїм більш правильно. Але вас зрозуміють і з вашим консультантом.
Дякую, and how do you say appointment?
Якщо до лікаря то - на консультацію або на огляд.
зустріч
I’ll dm you 🙏🙌
Привіт, I would like some help :)
Ya when do I use не vs немає?
не is a particle used in negative sentences like "not".
я не люблю каву. i do not like coffee.
немає is a verb which states that you don't have something or there's no something.
у мене немає кави. i don't have coffee (there is no coffee on me).
Дякую! I'm currently learning ukrainian. I speak a little ukrainian, but so far it's не дуже добре. ❤️🙏

Додому is a direction.
I go home > Я йду додому.
Вдома is a place.
I am at home. > Я вдома
