Not really defaultism at all, as they specify the United States, and you inferred the age (which is likely accurate, to be fair, as 21-22 would be the typical age if university graduates entering Corporate America).
If they started off with "American Citizens" it would be okay, just maybe the wrong sub, but they're saying that everyone adult would experience "Corporate America".
I mean, they clearly aren’t saying that every adult will experience Corporate America — hell, a good chunk of Americans will never experience Corporate America.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to read that sentence and understand that there is a specific target audience for the question.
I don’t believe there is a US-specific r/AskReddit page (certainly not one as well-trafficked). Regardless, they added enough of a qualifier that they are asking a specific target audience. There’s nothing in that question that suggests to me that the OP believes it applies to every person, which is what would make it defaultism.
r/AskAnAmerican seems to fit pretty well, and it's got over 1 million members. The American neglected to consider that non-americans will see the post, which I believe is what USDefaultism is about.

OP sent the following text as an explanation why their post fits here:
OP's question in a general sub equates "corporate America" with "adult society" in general.

You mean 18, right?
Nope, their magical teleportation device uses eagle units. That's for the best tbh because any person under 21 instantly disintegrates on USian soil.
college
College? That's ages 16-17 for me.
21? I was an adult with 18.. at least thats what the law says
Oh the irony of US defaultism from OP themselves
Fully intended. Although... if teleportation isn't instant but takes 3 years... Maybe then the subject might survive the landing
But... The age you become an adult in the states is also 18?
Drinking is 21, adult is 18
Right?
> drinking is 12
Only in Florida!
Dunno, I'm under the impression that they're born being already 21 holding a driver's license and a gun
Oops, fixed :) thanks
No, no. You're not even allowed to LOOK at liquor until you're 21 in America. I'm guessing the same is not true for porn.
I am not sure, if I am allowed :
Someone, somewhere in war-torn part of Africa
I assume most Americans don't even work corporate jobs.
the age of majority in the us is 18

Coincidentally, the sub is cut off. So we don't know if it was posted in a US-specific sub or not.
That's true, but I'm assuming this wouldn't be posted if it was from an American sub.

Well, yeah, but that's exactly what this sub is for. They could've posted it on a US only sub.
