they're brainwashed since childhood that their country is undisputably number one, and that not being a fan of it is a lack of moral character
they legit have children swearing fealty to the flag every single morning at school, with American exceptionalism being taught early and reinforced often
it's often a massive shock to them to travel and live somewhere else and deconstruct the propaganda they were raised with. But many many of them don't travel outside the US in the first place because of that aforementioned propaganda, so most of them just keep thinking insane shit all their life.
Yeah, its actually crazy some of the things they get told there, i saw some people say that the schools teach children that the pearl harbor bombing started WW2, its ridiculous how much they think thet are the main caracter
They're drone bees, bred (and brainwashed at school) to give up their lives and freedoms for the hive and it's orange Queen, while believing that having (or just being told they've got) the biggest and best hive ever, the best the world has ever seen, is enough to make them better in all ways than all of the other insects, even if their own life is just pure hardship.
Historians will one day look back on America and not marvel at how the elite rich took what they wanted; rather be fascinated at how the American middle and poor class enthusiastically supported and encouraged this elite to take yet more in the name of “the American way”.
I always thought it seemed very North Korea-ish, except their borders are "technically" open, but they are fooled into believing that leaving will be worse for them so most of them stay and believe what they hear.
Not to mention they are taught in school that if someone, especially those outside their country, challenges their worldview, that they have to defend it to the death.
Even if proven wrong, just keep doubling down because admitting you're wrong is bad I guess?
Basically their entire country is built upon manipulation.
I’ve seen dozens of trumpists comment “deported” or “hope you get deported” on any non-white person’s video that they don’t like. Do this day I’ve only seen these in ONE video from somebody who actually lives in the US, and she was born there.
Depends on age too. If those are the only skills you have when you are in your 20s, it's still enough for cultural exchange/backpacker visas in many places, which is enough to get your foot in the door and try to transition to something else. When you are not highly skilled or your skills are not specifically in demand, it can be hard to find visa sponsorship or a company willing to relocate you - you can at least partially mitigate this yourself by getting there under some other visa scheme first.

I don’t know how some of these people so easily defend such crappiness in the US. They enjoy struggle and misery? Or is it just pride?

I don’t like it and I’d love to move out but that’s not easy when you don’t have any marketable skills beyond grocery retail experience 😔
In Sweden people can live a decent life just by working at the local supermarket. Not in Stockholm though.
Yeah that used to be the case here, for the boomer generation, but not anymore.
