I got a Henry Quick as my normal sized Henry (Harry, actually) is so bulky to pull out for small uses. However, the pods aren’t reusable! Silly me should have realised this before buying.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party reusable pod? I’ve done some searching but can’t seem to find anything. It seems so wrong throwing out these pods as they don’t last long! At least my Henry bags last what seems like forever & they’re just mesh with a tiny ring. These pods are thick & have a lot of plastic to them.
hey ! vacuum enthusiast(?) here (sounds silly i know) but the reason for “reusable” bags not really being a thing anymore is because over time fine dust blocks the pores of the bag media and restricts airflow and can shorten the life of the motor and cause it to overheat. bagless are the devil because they just let all dust straight through the motor no matter what dyson or shark say in their fancy advertising and the filters on bagless claim theyre washable when they really arent. best thing to do if you really hate buying pods ? sell it and use the money for something else
Ah, thank you for that info! That’ll be why my very expensive Dyson handheld died years ago (the reason I initially purchased my bulky Harry). I will absolutely keep the Henry Quick (I just felt a little guilty throwing such bulky items into landfill). But if there really is no other “better solution”, it is what it is. Thanks again!
