Date and time: Fall 2025, 6:00 PM Location: WI, USA

I saw something earlier this fall that I can't explain. It was around early or mid November at 6 PM so it was dark. I take my dog out to play fetch every evening. We went out to our normal play area like any other evening.

I live in a subdivision on the outskirts of a small city. I always stand with my back to the street to play with the dog.

I happen to look over my right shoulder and see what looked like a glowing circle of yellow light hovering in the air. This thing looked low. Not way up high, I mean in the neighborhood low. It looked a little above the street light. If I took a quarter and held it at arm's length this thing would have been slightly larger. I don't know how else to describe the size. It was a circle, but kind of had rough edges.

I remember thinking "huh, wonder what that is" while looking at it for a few seconds in between throwing the ball for the dog. It doesn't take her long to retrieve and one time when I went to look at it again it had disappeared.

The weirdest part to me wasn't the glowing object. It was my reaction to seeing it. At the time it was no more exciting than watching a car drive by on the street. You'd think I saw it every day. Very mundane. I remember thinking "I'm not even going to try for a picture, nothing will be distinguishable". I told my wife a couple days later. Didn't even think to tell her the night of. I couldn't even tell you the exact date I saw it.

I had forgotten about it until last night. For some reason I thought of it again and felt compelled to write this up. Why was I not excited about seeing it? I'm very interested in UFOs and this was the first time I saw something that could even be considered a UFO. I can't believe I didn't, at minimum, keep my eyes on it for the duration of its appearance. Regardless if it was NHI or some natural phenomenon it was something I had never seen personally. That's really about it I suppose. Who knows what it was.
