• Mod note. This is a permissible use of AI. It's akin to a hand drawn sketch.

The following submission statement was provided by /u/Runner_one.

She described it to me like this: "I was coming home from the store shortly before sundown, came around a corner in the road and this disk was hovering near a fence in the corner of a field just beside the road. I slowed down and the disk tilted and slid backwards before zooming off into the western sky."

  • This has some Monty Python vibes

    UFO!

    UFO!

    UFO!

    It's only an animation

  • She described it to me like this: "I was coming home from the store shortly before sundown, came around a corner in the road and this disk was hovering near a fence in the corner of a field just beside the road. I slowed down and the disk tilted and slid backwards before zooming off into the western sky."

She is a skeptic and never told anyone before me. Even now she doubts it was of alien origin.

I used chat GPT along with my limited animation skills to create this short animation. She says it's pretty close. The location was Lawrence county Illinois.

I think you did a good job :)

Yeah same here, good job 👍🛸

How do you see this and you carry on with your normal life? Amazing encounter

  • This is almost exactly what an acquaintance of mine saw back in the early 1950's at West Salem, WI. They were sitting one evening on their deck at their home. The disk came close to them where they saw the underside, then it rotated the same way by ninety degrees and rapidly moved away and disappeared in a second or so.

    OP's wife saw ufo

    Acquaintance seen the same thing

He's sleeping with your wife OP 🤣

  • The rotating is consistent with other credible sightings

  • Time: mid 1995. Location: Lawrence county Illinois, USA.

  • Interesting that the side turning mechanism is seen in a lot of UFOs. Didn’t someone or a whistleblower explain why? Can’t remember the science behind it.

Doesn’t the UAP Create like a bubble around it where inside they create a field that is sloped at a degree which they use as a mechanism to make the UAP “fall” and keep it on a constant “fall” by entrapping that slope thing inside the bubble?? And since it’s constantly falling it’s moving. Some like that I can’t better explain it. I’m sure someone else can.

  • Looks like a Monty Python animation by Terry Gilliam. Love it.

  • Was your wife into the whole UFO topic around 95? Because the rotating to the side before taking off part is actually a surprisingly common yet small detail that I think it's hard to make up on your own if you were bullshitting.

No, absolutely not. In fact it was only after I related to her my own sighting that she told me about hers. When she said it tilted on it's side before taking off I almost crapped myself.

The tilt is what gets me, because it's a part of the lore that only someone like us would know of. Like, a regular person who is not interested in the topic wouldn't think of that detail.

I mean, people talk about that tilt online. I’m not that into UFO shit but I know that lore. I’m always skeptical of the stories where people say shit like, “saw it 10 years ago, just never brought it up until now. Didn’t think it was a big deal till I thought about it10 years later.” Lol… Probably just long term lurkers on the sub looking for some engagement.

    "I’m not that into UFO shit"...on r/ufos.

Seriously though when people say this they often mean like COMPLETELY unaware of all things ufos. My wife is also like this. She has just a complete lack of interest in the subject and I GUARANTEE you she has no idea about the "sideways flying" stuff in this animation.

If you know basically any lore you know more than a lot of people out there. With the news coverage and the documentaries it's definitely becoming more popular and entering mainstream culture but most people are still relatively clueless.

I mean I follow the sub, I get a kick out of it. But it’s mostly trash posts. I don’t follow UFO news seriously. But I did see some other mention of UFOs tilting on their side before they move in the direction they point.

Don’t listen to me though. I’m just a skeptic. I don’t believe people for a second who say they waited years before they mentioned their siting to anyone. Not even believable. I’d be screaming it from the rooftops if I saw some shit like that lol.

  • Hell yeah. I saw something similar but did not see it fly off. I was scared. Big regret

  • Did it happen to tilted away, towards the direction it traveled?

From my understanding, the gravity bubble is pointed towards where it'll fly. Some of them have a thing coming out the bottom that can point it, and some may tilt to maneuver.

    That's from Bob Lazar's descriptions.

Edit: here's an approximation of what I'm talking about generated by Sora: https://sora.chatgpt.com/p/s_694f126cb7a48191ae54a09a420089c0

Did it happen to tilted away, towards the direction it traveled?

Not according to her. In fact my first video attmpt was wrong, she said it tilted the other way. So I remade the animation and she says this how it moved for the most part.

  • Man seeing something up close like that would be crazy odds.

With the NUFORC kaggle dataset as an example, a Tier 1 is witnessing a 'close structured craft' (about 2400 cases, 600 could be described as Triangle or Discs).

From this data, specifically a 'disc' craft sighting, at this close range, would be in the range of 1 and 1 million odds. A life altering experience.

  • It almost made me feel like I was right there!

  • Look at the footage taken on an old razer phone of the ufo taking off in Costa Rica, tilts to its side just like Lazar claimed before shooting off at a rapid rate

  • NHI, could I please see something like this in my lifetime, thank you.

  • Hay I'm not one to down anyone's animation I can't even do things like that with digital art but that's what your wife saw makes me wonder what they wanted from her

  • Didn’t Bob say they moved in the direction of the amplifiers? This would be the opposite? Anyone got any insights here?

  • It's not AI. You get an upvote from me.

  • Can tell right off the bat this is legit from the rotation. Very common in real sightings across the world. Thank you

  • Terrence and Phillip are in there

Yes. You saw a weather balloon reflecting swamp gas during a solar flare while slightly drunk, which was made worse by the fermented ingredients in the Mountain Dew our records indicate you drank last night. Get your facts straight.

  • Same thing I have seen and made a video of, but it was more like an orb (at least from my perspective, looking from the ground towards the sky in a almost 90 degree angle). When I analyzed the video it had three steps before disappearing, like throwing a rock on a water surface and it bounces three times before it sinks.

  • Looks like the alien wanted to fly perpendicular to the surface of the earth. Would make sense if the earth is basically a little ball in directionless space.

  • Did it tilt like that when it flew away? If so, that's cool and opens up options about how it moves 🛸

  • All I can say is I saw one like that a car distance away 5 feet from a guard rail. Upright and scary with a spehere and forcefield thingy

  • Does she think it was physical?

If not NHI, what’s her theory for time and place?

She says is was absolutely a physical metallic disk. As for why then and there, not a clue.

Can she ballpark size? Forget numbers.

Big as a motorcycle. Couch? Car? Truck? Helicopter? House? Plane?

The reason I ask is for you to ask her. You don’t need to reply to me further. Just ask her to ballpark what she saw.

Drive to the spot tomorrow. Don’t do shit but let her look as she wants. Get her to make you stand about where you’d be if you had been under it.

Just let her understand the possible scale and form of what she saw while it’s fresh. Text each other her description. Lock it in.

    That’s all.

If she’s curious then, and says “as big as Uncle Mike’s fishing boat,” and is damn sure it parked next to that boat is about same size… get to the nearest marina. Get her next to a boat (or truck, backyard shed, etc.) that’s the “right” size.

If very curious try to find a single aviation machine on Wikipedia of the right size to do what she observed. Saw. Heard. Smelled. Tasted. Felt, etc. Maybe something will fit.

It still hasn’t for me. Saving those impressions now are important. Like tomorrow morning.

    And I know 1995!

But go again, if it's local. Today, having seen this thing you made here. It can jog something.

  • Ask your wife if anything in particular was happening in her life when she saw it. Inner turmoil, loss, immense fear about something? I was going through a lot of inner turmoil when I started to see them.

My personal belief is that UAP are a feedback mechanism of the universe, which I look at as an intelligent interactive hologram (kind of like a game).

Now, I primarily only see UAP in my dreams. I saw a TR3B style black manta with 1 orange light glowing from each corner after reading the Stratton Oakmont (Wolf of Wall Street) sales guide, a black flying saucer with an open hatch and person in it illuminated from the craft when I decided to look into my Jungian shadow, and most recently a huge craft like the craft from the movie “Alien” with purple lights glowing on the underside.

It would seem that black UAP are associated with something we consider “bad.” It’s hard to say, though, as I’ve seen metallic and black UAP side by side as well 🤷‍♂️. I’d get on any color UAP given the opportunity, lol.

I did, and the answer was nope, just rural family life. Nothing out of the ordinary.

  • Bob Lazar was right.

  • Nice. The smaller/mid-sized discoid UFO manoeuvres have been observed countless times and have been documented as early as the 1950s.

Paul Hill (a Chief Scientist-Manager at NASA's Langley Research Center) discussed them in some detail in his book "Unconventional Flying Objects". I'll quote from a review of the book by physicist Hal Puthoff:

"One of the most consistently-observed characteristics of UFO flight is a ubiquitous pattern in which they tilt to perform all maneuvers. Specifically, they sit level to hover, tilt forward to move forward, tilt backward to stop, bank to turn, and descend by "falling-leaf" or "silver-dollar-wobble" motions. Detailed analysis by Hill shows that such motion is inconsistent with aerodynamic requirements, but totally consistent with some form of repulsive force-field propulsion. Not satisfied with paper analyses alone, Hill arranged to have various forms of jet-supported and rotor-supported circular flying platforms built and tested. Hill himself acted as test pilot in early, originally-classified, versions, and found the above motions the most economical for control purposes. Pictures of these platforms are included in the text." -- https://www.ldolphin.org/hill.html

From the notes of Dr. Hermann Oberth (the father of German rocketry) 70+ yrs ago:

"They always fly in a manner as if the drive is acting perpendicular to the plane of the disk; when they are suspended over a certain terrain they keep horizontal, when they want to fly very quick, they tilt (tip) and fly with the plane directed forward. In sunlight, which is brighter than their own gleaming, they appear glittering like metal."
