Some guy in my city captured this today - posted just half an hour ago in the city subreddit. What do you think? I the first guy to call ballons but this looks quite weird with the shape shifting.

I always wonder with these videos, the ones that change shape, if we're observing a 4th dimensional object in 3D space. Would explain why it looks so odd to us.
That's funny. My whole family seen one of these last year in my province of Alberta, and I was happy to find other posts on reddit this last few days.
I was just coming off the r/rusted_satellite sub showcasing similar things and thought "I wonder if it's a 4D object/being/*something* and this is how it appears in 3D space, and then scrolled down to see your comment lol.
What if the 3d world is already recorded or tevo'd for them, and that's just them replaying or analyzing or screen recording our universe. What if some evil entities are hacking the database and trying to recreate our verse in order to imprison their enemies or counterparts. This is wild stuff.
4th dimension is time but in theory it's not easily navigated, it's a essentially a line but you can't easily drop yourself onto any point of that line, that's where the 5th dimension comes into play, in there you can place yourself at any point on the line.
I agree but I will say there's also value to zoom out to show the surroundings to give more context than just a black blob in front of clouds. But hold the camera still and don't do it so erratically sheesh!
I have to say Iām a professional cameraman in the entertainment business. I work for Netflix HBO you name it. I recently saw UFO. I tried to film it very very difficult to film off your phone when you zoom a thousands times digitally because normally in Phone, itās a digital zoom when you get past the long lens itās very hard to keep it still without a tripod, especially if the object is moving and youāre trying to track it. I used to have the same questions. Why are all these videow So shitty after experiencing it now I know why.
Yeah for sure. I'm a bit spoiled because my pixel phone has built in digital stabilization that's pretty good, but I've never had the opportunity to see anything cool š¤·
My phone has excellent stabilization as well, but when I'm zoomed in on an object so far away it's still very difficult to keep it properly in frame.
Anyhow, my wife, kids and I seen one of these things floating in the sky in Alberta last summer. It was quite bizarre - I thought it was some kind of weird, static 'smoke' at first - couldn't really make out mentally what I was seeing physically, then it changed shape and started moving right, then down a bit and suddenly it was as if it was never there to begin with.
I've been thinking about it lately and today seen someone post one of these on the r/aliens sub, which brought me to r/rusted_satellite subreddit where there are lots of videos from all over the world being posted - and even some ancient mud-paintings showing very similar things (one of the mud paintings is shaped *exactly* as the one I seen was shaped, or at least extremely close).
Yeah that was also weird for me. Like I truly get different perspectives of the same object but this one changes shapes completely throughout the video and it looks more like a dark mass instead of the normal bundle of balloons. Just weird
The government said this is not possible, therefore it must not be possible damn it?!? š¤£š¤£.
This is the sad but true general consensus in a lot of these subs.
Don't fret, they might figure it out for themselves one day and realize that the governments don't have shit to show that you can't get out there, find, and see for themselves.
I will note how the camera pans away, moves the object out of frame completely, and zooms out, at every single interval where the object changes shape.
Video editor here... likely fake unless you edited the video internally to add some small amount of zoom to the actual zoom. Also you must have a very good camera.. that's it..
Like I said in the description, i just took the video from somebody who posted it on our city subreddit. If you believe that it was altered in any way I can send you the file. I can also try to speak to the person who posted it to maybe get the original one.

I saw something kind of similar to the start of the video on that Josh Gates show Destination X I think it was, but that thing looked more like what they called it a "witch". It actually looked like some humanoid shape floating in the sky.
The video is so bad that it's hard to tell if the object is drifting in the wind like a balloon, or how the shape changes, if by rotation, like a balloon, or in some other manner. I want to meet the cameraman so I can slap him a couple times.
Man, I was gonna complain about how it's always balloons to the skeptics, but then I watched a little longer and I kinda have to agree on this one. Lmao.
Literally can find a balloon for sale somewhere for every possible shape you can see in the sky. That ādebunkā is going to always be an option to videos like this, that doesnāt mean its a 100% confirmed fact tho
