    Yup! Cooper SE, and yes they had the smallest batteries on the market rn in winter i get about 100 miles at 100%

    Yeah... I've seen the iccu issues that have plagued this model. If (when?) it happens, it should be covered under warranty, but crossing my fingers it doesn't burn me at an inopportune time.

    That’s doesn’t surprise me at all. I had a rear wheel drive 1976 Mazda 808 (not the rotary engine) that was one of the best winter cars I ever had. It had independent rear suspension and handled like. BMW. It was a rusted out POS bodywise but it ran like a top and never got stuck. Center of gravity and traction.

  • We drove from Des Moines to MSP yesterday because we didn't want to be caught in this weather. All of northern Iowa was foggy with 1/4-mile visibility and people were still driving 85mph without their headlights on.

    Hey I was on that same stretch last night too! I witnessed a driver try and pass a semi on the left shoulder while easily going 90+. Absolutely bonkers.

    We were around there too (driving a reasonable speed with headlights on)!

    We were coming from south Texas and had planned to stop in Wichita last night and come back the rest of the way today, but with the storm coming we decided to go straight through. Not the most fun we’ve ever had, but we made it in safe around 9:30 this morning!

    There seems to be a bunch of “it’s just snowing, stop making it sound so bad” people in some of these threads. 

    Apparently taking blizzard warnings seriously or reporting where it’s been tricky is bugging them. Or perhaps somebody mistakenly thought I was being sarcastic, which I wasn’t. That pic says a lot!
