I had a TFMR in August at 12 weeks and have been desperate to conceive again ever since. My first couple cycles were longer than normal (39 and 33 days) but then the most recent two were back to normal (28/29 days) plus ovulation around day 15/16.
This cycle I added in inositol as I’d read loads of good things about it and I’m worried I’ve messed up my ovulation by taking it when I didn’t need it 😞 I’m cycle day 18 now, LH basically 0 and no dominant follicle yet on US day 12 though follicles growing. I’ve stopped the inositol now as that was the only thing I’d done differently this cycle and just hoping ovulation happens a bit late and I haven’t fully messed up my cycles 🤞
Can anyone offer any insight if you’ve experienced similar and how long it took to go back to normal? I’m trying not to spiral here 😩

I’ve read that it’s not recommended to take inositol unless you have PCOS. I took it for a couple of days then stopped when I read this so I don’t think it was long enough for any effect.
Yeah I think that’s the issue. I’d read about lots of people who had taken it even without PCOS and found it helpful so I figured it couldn’t hurt. But guess it can and lesson learned 😕
I only took it for a month, but it messed up my cycle. I didn't get my period while on it. Once I stopped, I got my period a few days after.
Thanks for your reply. Good to know I’m not the only one and hopefully things will go back to normal now I’ve stopped 🤞
Yes, they should! It's one of those medications that's really polarizing. It either works or it really messes you up ...good luck!
Omg I’m experiencing the same now. I have a mild case of PCOS. I usually ovulate on day 22. I’m on day 26 now no sign of ovulation. It’s so frustrating because I’m actively TTC and this is pissing me off
Thanks for your reply! Hope it sorts itself out for you soon! TTC is so hard 😩
I’m convinced it messed my cycle and ovulation up, and I only took it for 2 weeks (for fertility, no PCOS)! One would think a lighter AF is a plus, but I don’t even think I ovulated last month cause of it so I am very frustrated with myself.
Wishing you lots of luck with TTC!!!
