  • Hey!! Very excited to post here.

Cycle 4 Ages: 27F 28M Typical cycle length: 31 days

I tracked using pregmate ovulation strips and tested positive 3 days before missed period. We have intercourse every other day during ovulation time and 2-3 times a week otherwise.

Supplements: Prenatal, myo d chiro insotol, vitex chaste berry, and maca for me. Mens daily vitamin, ashuwaganda, and maca for him

Birth control history: Nexplanon from age 16-27, removed April 2025

Symptom spotting: Tiredness, implantation cramping, frequent urination, gas, constipation, tender breasts, EWCM, and maybe fever

  • Hoping this is our double rainbow :)

Cycle: First cycle since MMC at 9 weeks in June

    Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 37F + 39M

    Typical cycle length: 29-32 days

Ovulation cycle day: CD17 (possible it was CD18)

    CD/DPO of positive test(s): 11 DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: Tested negative 8, 9, and 10 DPO

Tracking methods and app(s) used: Tracking cycle days and cervical mucus in my notes app!

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): Intercourse on CD 11, CD 12, CD 16

Health conditions/medical tests: I’ve had bloodwork to rule out autoimmune conditions (lupus, APS, etc) and thyroid issues. No known issues re: MFI, but partner is type 1 diabetic and A1C was a little high up until recently.

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): 10ug Vitamin D3, prenatal, 100mg CoQ10 and fish oil daily for me; Vitamin D3 and 400mg CoQ10 for partner. We started these supplements in August in preparation for TTC this cycle.

Birth control history (if relevant): 10 years on drospirenone estradiol, discontinued in July 2024.

Symptom spotting: EWCM for the entire week post-ovulation, which was very unusual. Heavy cramping 10-11 DPO, was convinced I was out this cycle and it was my period starting. ETA: also had a slight fever and a few instances of nausea one week after ovulation but unsure if this was related.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): Now that the euphoria of the positive test has settled I’m full of anxiety for our first scan. We get pregnant easily but I haven’t made it out of the first trimester yet. Really hoping that the changes we made (supplements, cutting out alcohol entirely, reducing stress) have improved my egg quality. Partner also started on an insulin pump a few months ago and A1C has come down almost a full percentage point.

  • I can't believe I get to make this post!

Cycle: not sure started TTC June 2024

Age + Partners age: 39.5 when started TTC now just turned 41 + Husband 40 now 42

    Typical cycle length: 28 days

    Ovulation day: CD14

    CD/DPO of positive test: CD28/ DPO14/ 9DP5DT

    Negative tests (if any): None

Tracking Methods/apps: So I did a natural Frozen Embryo Transplant (FET) this means a lot of daily blood tests to catch the LH surge so I really do know what day I ovulated this time lol.

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method: IVF. Took two egg retrievals to get one perfect little embryo - we did get more blasts than that but did PGT-a testing where they check for the right number of chromosomes and only one passed the test.

Health conditions/medical tests: Sperm Analysis - great. AMH high for my age so very good (no PCOS diagnosis). HSG +transvaginal ultrasound revealed 12mm uterine polyp - for the second time also had them removed in 2021. Also showed that my fallopian tubes were thick/scarred and stiff at both ends.

Supplements and medications: Elevit prenatal vitamins. My RE did not recommend any other supplements. (Obviously a lot of meds needed for the Egg Retrievals).

Symptom Spotting: Going to post in depth here as I used to trawl these posts for this information. We tried for 6 months before seeking help and then kept trying naturally when we could amongst the tests, procedures, egg retrievals etc so I really got to know what my luteal phase was like and what was new/odd this time. Also because this was a natural FET none of this was influenced by medications. I've translated the FET timeline to DPO numbers. I didn't test earlier as we were away at my in-laws for several days over Christmas so I was worried about getting upset. This is also why we haven't done an official blood test yet or started to track HCG because of the Christmas break the clinic and blood labs are closed.

DPO6-10: no symptoms, I usually get some luteal cramps but didn't this time it was radio silence.
DPO11 & 12: I got my first "impending period" cramps that I usually get. I was very upset. It absolutely felt like my period was on it's way.
DPO12: I got some EWCM when I wiped after peeing, this never happens at any point in my cycle.
DPO13: I woke up at 3am with abdominal pain, not period cramps this very much was not my uterus cramping. This was an unrelenting vague ache affecting my whole lower abdomen similar but not the same ache as a UTI can give. I had to take some panadol to get back to sleep. That day while doing some gentle walking at a farmers market and garden centre I got lower back pain - this never happens to me. My Fitbit notified me that my heart rate was higher than usual when all I was doing was sitting on the couch. More "getting my period" cramps, every time I went to the bathroom I was expecting to see blood. My lower abdomen felt swollen and tender. If I had been at home I would have done a test on this day.
DPO14: Period due today. Cramps all night, wore period underwear to bed, when I woke up checking to see if my period had started I had a lot of very thin clear CM. Got back from in-laws early evening and the first thing I did was a home test - very positive. Cramping has drastically reduced. Stomach feeling bubbly. I'm bouncing between omg I'm cramping what does this mean? To OMG why am I not cramping anymore what does this mean?

Symptoms I did not get (yet): No implantation pain or spotting. No breast or nipple tenderness. No fever or feeling hot. No nausea. No tiredness.

so happy for you!!!!! fingers crossed for a boring pregnancy

Other advice/tips: IMO if you have been properly trying for 6 months, like hitting the fertility window and all that jazz, seek help. Going to a Fertility Clinic doesn't mean rushing into IVF - The first step will be some diagnostic tests first that take time because they have to line up with your cycle etc. Just getting those initial tests done (SA, HSG etc) can either set your mind at ease or give you some answers before starting any treatment plan. I mean for me those first 6 months of trying were never going to result in a pregnancy so I'm glad we got help when we did and didn't let ourselves procrastinate which was very tempting.
