The Republican party is split. That doesn't work in trumps favor. In the U.S. there is a "silent majority". They wait and watch. They know what they see. No. The solution is NOT voting blue. We HAVE voted. In droves. In fact, we have showed up more than Republicans almost always. Popular votes shows we have won almost all the elections. Even when Republicans “win,” the there were more blue votes.

A two party system seems to be outdated. Maybe the ranked voting with more options would help. Or maybe having more than one leader and only one of those leaders is up for election every so many years? This 50/50 winner takes all style of ruling amounts to turbulent socioeconomic conditions that creates divides that are unhelpful in our collective human advancement.
