It honestly blows my mind how the lady from Cinnabon who openly admitted to racist behavior was fired… yet she’s now made over $100k through a Christian donation fundraiser site.

I’m a Christian myself, and I just don’t understand it. Racism is not a Christian trait. It’s the opposite of what Jesus taught. Her behavior in the video was full of hatred, pride, and racial partiality and she even openly admitted to being racist. Scripture calls sin, not virtues. it's actually infuriating this isnt Christian.

“There is no respect of persons with God.” (Romans 2:11 KJV) “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.” (1 John 2:9 KJV)

Supporting someone because of racist actions not despite them is confusing to me. How can we say we follow Christ and still uphold something that directly contradicts His teachings?

Why would Christians donate to support racist behavior? How do people reconcile that with the gospel?

This is completely opposite of Christ it doesn't make sense. Are Christians encouraging racism now??

When I see that it's not Jesus in someone saying that..

  • To preface I am not familiar with the scenario and I don't use that platform in the first place. I would like to ask what behavior is considered racist in their context? A label doesn't tell us anything.

Hehe thanks for the warning, I don't like hearing profanity :)

I'm pretty sure she was mocking a woman's hijab and calling the couple the n-word. She also outright proclaimed herself a racist.

  • People have been reduced to tribalistic animals.

They want to score points for their side because they wish to feel righteous and justified in their beliefs even if those beliefs don't align with Christs teachings.

Know this for certain that woman and all those people who donated to her don't understand this. It's not an excuse but it's the truth, they are being blinded by pride and deafened by echo chambers of foolishness.

Do not condemn her though, be gentle as she is not and pray for her mind to be renewed and heart restored. Judgement is for the lord and there are many things we are blind too ourselves better to focus on that then on someone you don't know and never will.

  • People can have some skewed views when they center their faith around politics instead of the other way around. I remember a few years ago the local Christian family life station heavily endorsing a representative for an election convicted of insider trading and fraud and possibly facing a jail sentence because the house balance was on the line, and we needed to do this "to stand up for Jesus!"

After watching the video, I have to agree and don't get why Christians would endorse that. Maybe people might be still reeling from the cancel culture mentality shortly after COVID, and assuming that it is this again, but what the girl said was flat out wrong. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt and hope that the fundraisers are from individuals using the platform and not an endorsement from the platform or a major Christian group.

  • Lady has the crazy eyes and I don’t know that give send go differentiates between Christian and non Christian causes

  • Hi,

dissent is spreading throughout the land of the United State, dissent is large and you too are guilty of it.

That this person received so much for unknown reasons after the event in question is certainly because she is of white ethnicity and Christian, which they deem is the norm American.

Each tries to find their own unicity and community, do not insult others like animals as the people in the comment does, we must be forbearing and resilient until the lord comes, that you are guilty or not of why this women acted this way and why dissent spread right now is of no consequence to who you are in Christ, just as those you blame for what they share with the lady who did wrong.

May the glory of God shine through the holy spirit for you and through you.

  • It's a wake-up call for the church, so that we might realize that we truly are in the last days, and that we might not fall with the others who have succumbed to the great apostasy.
