This is merely an attempt at reframing having other values than radicalised American reactionaries as an assault on huge swaths of the world's population as a way to further radicalise their in-group and in turn justify their attempt to actually damage European society. They're doing it to preemptively avoid the fabrication they've made, you see. We're seeing it happening already with Trump pushing Kremlin talking points regarding Europe.
These kinds of sentiments are made to make sure that the footsoldiers are ideologically on board.
