If that cat didn’t want to be there, or at least didn’t mind being there, it would leave. Cats wear their emotions on their sleeves. It’s totally fine with this, apparently.

It does mind. You can see it on it's face. But it doesn't mind that much. Cats will let small kids get away with a lot more than they would put up with from adults. Cats seem to recognise that small kids are "dumb kittens" who don't know any better, even though they are bigger than them.

well adults aren't fond of it either at times. but yeah, we put up with them.

He probably enjoys the attention, he just doesn't want that kind of attention and is hoping it will change soon. "Surely eventually the child will realize what I want is chin scritches and butt pats, right?"

    parent root
    19 points GingerKitty26

It depends on how much their “owner” has conveyed the need for them to be nice to the small child.

That eye twitching is actually the cat sending an SOS.

The eye twitch is an SOS signal in cat morse code.

    parent
  • 1 points chuckinalicious543

    Wunk is signaling for aid

    parent
  • 1 points random420x2

Every time the cat’s eye starts twitching, so does mine. I feel like maybe he’s doing Morse code?
