Aawww this was me with my childhood dog. I was allowed to do basically whatever but he got annoyed real fast with everyone else. His patience with me reduced as I grew older though lol
this is absolutely how i was with my childhood cat. he put up with the worst from me but i loved him so much. i was completely obsessed in the only a little girl can be with her cat. he lived to the ripe old age of 17 and has been gone longer than he was here.
My mother has a story she enjoy telling on occasion when the topic of pets comes up. When she was little she and her siblings had cats. One cat was named Paws. They would dress him up in baby clothes and push him in a stroller and from her stories, he would just put up with it. Mind you she grew up in Northern California during the 70s. I always get a chuckle out of that because it reminds me how much more our pets seem to put with the little ones random shenanigans.
My oldest kitty has endless patience for babies and younger children. I used to watch a few cousins when they were babies, and he would lay his head in their laps, even as they squealed and patted his face or grabbed at his ears. When he was done with their adoration, he would just get up and sashay away. I think he just loves how much they love him.

That’s the key! Got annoyed real fast with anyone else, but not with the child.
Cat looks like Yoda
Pretty, I am
Scratch you, I will.

That child is a cat whisperer
Well yeah. She has got to raise her kitten.
That's because your daughter is your cats person.

Orange Yoda
They have a magical connection. Kitty will put up with it but is not amused
It’s weird like that right? Will only allow it with her.
It happens and it’s so wonderful

Pretty sure that cat's one thought was not, "I could use a haircut"
Cat was thinking I’ll take this, for her sake.
I just love this!! Thanks for sharing
🤣
Fun reminder that you can't make a cat do anything it doesn't want to do. This kitty loves her girl!
Epic levels of precious here. The best stuff. 💞
"shes young i cant kill her for it gotta resist" -the cat probably
Do you feel Bonita?
Wow. Kitty is patient!
Sure is, and the reason is the relationship.
