• I have never before seen the adjective “cancerous” used to describe a person with cancer. When you refer to a person as “cancerous”, I’m thinking, like, a cancerous personality, not a person with cancer.

Literally the worst wording, but also it sounds accurate…

    Cancerful

The son is cancerful and the parent is cancertankerous.

The son is cancerful and the parent is awful

My brother is Cancerous. That’s his zodiac sign. ♋️

I've used it to describe a person - but as an insult and not because they had cancer lol

Maybe she meant that her son is cancerous as in he causes cancer in others?

My mom does this and I’m an adult so people get the wrong impression a lot. She has been told her wording is way off but she still calls me cancerous … sometimes I think from her it’s a double entendre

  • A make-a-wish has a lot of controlled details to ensure that the kid gets their wish out of it. They don't just throw you in a cart and call it a day or hand you a gift certificate. No way they just flat out threw out a make-a-wish kid. (Source: me, a parent of a make-a-wish kid who had to go through the details of all the controlled stuff they do even for a straightforward wish)

I don't know if you meant for this to be funny but this was hilarious as hell. The "They don't just throw you in a cart and call it a day" part. Not the being the parent of a make-a-wish child. I am so sorry.

Lol no worries. It was meant to be cheeky. And my kiddo ended up pulling through so happy ending!

This is the good news I needed this morning. Wonderful news!!!

Yup my friend had a make a wish when we were teens and it was very tightly orchestrated.

  • If it was a genuine "Make A Wish" thing, wouldn't he have had the go-kart track to himself, or with just family and friends? Those things are carefully controlled, because the kids are usually pretty sick.

Yes, I doubt they'd just pay for his ticket, tell him to bump into the walls to his heart's content, and go on their merry way...

This is so disrespectful to families who do go through these experiences

Yeah there’s A LOT that goes into making sure the kid has the time of their lives while still keeping them safe and following all rules and regulations and laws. My Make A Wish was to go to Warped Tour and meet my favorite band. My family and I had a blast! Unfortunately te parking lot attendant security guy refused to let the limo come to us to pick us up even though they knew I was in a cast(stress fracture) so I had to walk to the limo. While I was there I was offered a ride in one of those ATV type vehicles but I declined as I felt well enough to walk around just fine but by the time I was ready to go back to the hotel(it was like 5-6pm I was tired and my foot hurt. That was the only bump in my day the funny part is my oldest brother as we left in the limo he saw the guard so as we passed him he rolls down the window and shouted F**K YOU! I cracked up! It wasn’t very nice but he’s incredibly protective of me and was pissed. My parents weren’t too happy but let it go, they knew his heart was in the right place.

    What band?

    Glad you’re better now : )

Amber Pacific😊. I’m still friends with everyone but their former merch guy and former bassist. I just grew apart from them but everyone else I still talk to. I also met the man behind Warped Tour and I still talk to him too. Thank you! Unfortunately my disorder is progressive and I’m nowhere close to being as healthy as I was at 14 but I had many amazing years and I’m hopeful I’ll get to have more adventures with my family. We never know what life has in store for us.

Omg I was obsessed with Amber Pacific!!! Still listen to them. My brother and I went to see them play several times at The Door in Dallas, and you just dusted off some lovely memories of my emo era : )

Oh my gosh that’s awesome! I’m so happy I could dust off some happy memories of yours🥰. They just released a new album! I haven’t listened to it yet but I have it on iTunes! Next time they are in Dallas you should go see them and say hi!😊 I went to all the shows I could all through 2006,2007 and a couple in 2008. I even flew to Portland,Oregon with my dad for a show. I had to leave before they went on because I was in pain but I did get to spend time with my dad and that meant a lot to me.

I didn’t know that! Gonna go buy it now, and I absolutely will keep an eye out! I might even talk my little brother into going with me so we can reminisce about our misspent youth 😂

Yup released on Valentine’s Day! Ohh please let me know what you think! Oh definitely try to see them with your little brother, I think you guys would have a blast especially reminiscing! Did you get to see them when they were on Warped Tour? I met them at Warped on 7-15-2006 and I went back to Warped every year until 2013 I tried to go both years but I got sick so we had to go home. All the years I attended were amazing. I consider myself so incredibly blessed.

I love your brother! Glad you are doing better❤️

Thank you! I do too🥰. Unfortunately my disorder is progressive and my condition has deteriorated since then BUT I am hopeful that I will have a few more adventures with my family someday soon! I suspect there is more going on so I’m going to talk to my endocrinologist about being tested for all things related to endocrinology as well as chronic fatigue syndrome. If everything that I haven’t already been diagnosed with is ruled out then I need to talk to my primary doctor about what my next steps should be.

Yes. The foundation would have organized everything.

  • I think the person is just making things up because they were told their perfectly normal, non-cancerous, healthy child was behaving like an absolute little shit, who thought it was funny to keep running into walls.

Or it's just a joke review. I want to believe it's a shitty joke review, but the internet has taught me for years just how angry and petty people can be.

  • As much as I doubt this is real I still feel awful for laughing at the very nonchalant 'he's prolly gonna die soon' plus surely if he kept bumping into walls that shows he maybe wasn't able to drive or follow the instructions safely? I dunno I just doubt a kid excited to go on a go kart would drive into walls for shits and giggles.

  • Of all the things that didn’t happen, this one didn’t happen the most.

  • Imagine being the kind of parent who shamelessly types out that their kid is “prolly gonna die soon”.

  • This is so funny

  • I am so sorry but if this isn't a fake post .. You can't come up with shit like this. 1. "Big Behemoth banned me and my cancerous son from the go karts" That makes you clutch your pearls and think, what the hell is going on. Then you get to "BECAUSE HE KEPT BUMPING THE WALL" and there is no way I won't end up in hell for just a quick stay with the way I rolled off of my bed laughing.

  • when i got my make a wish, i went to disney world. i was five years old and bald, so that in itself was a pretty good indicator that that’s why i was there, but i’m deeply suspicious i was also wearing like a make a wish lanyard or something. they kept pulling me to the front of lines even though my mom felt awful because i was perfectly capable of standing in the queue with all the other normal kids. even though i had cancer and i probably would’ve gotten a pass for being a menace, my mom was never gonna let me misbehave in public. all of this sounds like - and this is gonna sound awful - maybe NOT a make a wish excursion in the first place? there’s a lot that goes into it and they’re not just sending a family in with tickets to something. if you get a wish, they set everything up for you. that includes the event itself, the staff, depending on what it is they might clear the area for you so you get to choose who’s there, the works. i don’t even think you CAN be banned from go karts for bumping into the wall if you’re there with make a wish

I’m glad you’re still around, mate.

you’re so kind! i’m glad too.

  • But what about the Big Behemoth…?

  • As a cancerous person myself, this kid could have aimed a bit higher for a make a wish.

  • I know when my child is terminal, I use the word “prolly” when discussing his imminent demise.

I also let him on the extremely bumpy ride and let him crash into a wall, because, hey. What’s the worst that could happen, right?

  • I like how everyone in the comments is pointing out the fact that a Make-A-Wish kid wouldn't be sharing the track with others (outside of their friends and family) or be kicked out for bumping into walls, but leaving off the "prolly gonna die soon".

    Y'all, the poster is lying.

  • This is a troll review surely. I sure hope so anyway!

  • Prolly...

    🤷‍♀️

  • They spelled behemoth and cancerous correctly but not probably?????

    It’s not a misspelling, it’s slang

  • I don't believe this review. 😂

  • This reads like a Dril tweet

  • Here’s what the reviewer lied about to gain more sympathy. They probably have a kid but the kid isn’t sick, cancer is awful and gains the most attention and most sympathy when people find out about it. So SURPRISE their kid has it. They weren’t a make-a-wish kid. The odds that one was there with them is pretty good so they just stole that idea and made it their own. They weren’t kicked out or banned because their kid kept running into the wall, they were banned because the kid focused on another kid and relentlessly bullied him or her with them slamming their cart into the wall over and over again with the staff telling him or her to stop several times, the bullied kid’s parents telling him/her to step several times, and what finally got them the boot was the bullies parents just brushing off their behavior as kids will be kids. Something then gets broken or something gets really hurt and it’s the bully kid’s fault…time to ban.

  • So this problem is just going to work itself out?

  • My cancerous son lol

  • Cancerous 🤭

  • Is this child Daniel Larson 😳 🤣

  • So your son is doing the world a favor?
