Even as an adult anytime I booked a flight for a family vacation, I always made sure we were sitting together. There are so many things that could happen that would result in people getting separated even if they are sitting together why risk making it worse by being all over the place especially when you are travelling with a child.
Sadly I’ve seen that movie irl. Small town I’m from had a small airport where you would take a commuter flight to a bigger city to catch your main flight. Two kids (Pre-9/11) were sitting together they kept switching tickets to see the differences. Anyway the flight got called kid not paying attention saw people boarding ran on to the wrong flight. Plane started to taxi. Thankfully both parents realised what happened fairly quick and the plane was able to turn around and come back to the gate but it could have been so much worse. Delayed the whole airport by an hour and when the kid got off the plane he was sobbing thought he was going to have to stay with the other family forever. Parents laughed it off.
I just saw the second one for the first time, and man those parents are really irresponsible. Why is there only one alarm clock in the house? That’s the reason they forgot a kid last year, and not a single person thought to maybe set an alarm on their watch or something? And why go out of town at all for Christmas? Surely y’all can wait a few years before going on another highly disorganized family vacation
“So because I chose to procreate other humans I have to pay multiple human admissions and still watch them, while non parents get to have their own fun!”
This also doesn’t address that the childless people probably paid extra for that seat, so they are only asking the parents to do the same thing they did.
If you go into the app after you purchase tickets, a lot of the time it's actually free to choose your own seat depending airline. I've never spent more than $30 to choose my seat.
Put on your sleep mask and relax, you no longer have a toddler to supervise right next to you for the whole flight. Probably sucks to be the stranger who now has to answer 578 questions per hour from a kid.
(/s that’s clearly not going to happen, but if the parent pretends like they’re willing to let it happen, they will get a seat swap immediately for everyone’s good.)
You chose to procreate which means you're responsible for the financial burden that comes with that. If you think your precious babe should fly for free, you have a hard reality coming your way.
Uhhhh yes! Kids cost money, not a secret! You choose to have kids you have to pay more money in life.
FTR I have kids who are now older but yes I did fly with them.
literally yes?

Trying to avoid Home Alone I see.

And peace!

“So because I chose to procreate I now have to financially and physically care for the child I created?!?” Yes. Yeah that’s how it works.
Yeah, that will NEVER happen. Not my problem that you chose to procreate - I chose my seat.
Because I chose to procreate I have to pay for the things I want/need for the children I created?
the way the answer is literally yes???😭
Lol why is that mom even stressing?

I really hope all 210 of those replies are different ways of telling her “yes. Exactly.”
Yes that’s exactly what it means glad they understand 😅
