That brings a tear to my eye. Played this game when I was in highschool, now I'm 33. Feels like a lifetime ago and I am blown away that this game is still around and seemingly on a healthier trajectory! Have to come back now.

Hell yeah nice. Joined There in '08 and amazingly was able to relog into my og character the other day for the first time in like a decade.
I remember when it shut down and I shed a tear and made a couple screen recordings from our computer. It was such a huge part of hanging out. Maybe I should try to log back in as well.

It's possible to get all your inventory back if you return. The world is the same and nothing quite matches it, but the community is much different, as now many more games and virtual worlds compete for attention. I routinely log into 3 different ones per day, not always the same ones, but I keep coming back to THERE because nothing gives me the same feelings. Because of more competition for attention, the regular online community in THERE is much smaller. So bring your friends and make new ones. [edit] Artie_Savage is one of my many R* accounts.
