the disconnect between St. Nicholas and Santa Claus is so wide that, honestly, if people want to think of Santa as being black, I don’t care. God, in nearly all religious context given to me in my youth, is labeled as The Father, meaning He’s male. Same with Jesus, but Jesus was without question a middle eastern man. Not a believer of whitewashed versions of Jesus.
Santa is based off a real person named saint nicholas, unless the painter was trying to cover something up he's clearly white
Based off historical records we know Jesus was a man, just an ordinary guy who made miracles and was the son of god.
God is an omniscient all powerful being so why even bother to argue one over the other. Though evidently he's also a guy as well since words like "father" are often used.
I just agreed Jesus existed he was just an ordinary man I don’t think he made any miracles bc I don’t see any make-believe stories existing and he’s from Jerusalem right so
And gods existence is up for debate too but you said why even argue which I agree but he’s just a guy (I thought he was more of an idea but I’m not an expert) anyway I don’t think any race can be assigned to him but if he’s Jesus’ father shouldn’t he be Jewish too?
