I first beat Sorry We're Closed which was a surprise hit. I quite enjoyed the ability to move from 3rd to 1st person. I then played HORSES last night to support that developer cause I loved their first game (Saturnalia is a sleeper hit). Unfortunately, this game is a huge step down from their first one. From the graphics to the gameplay to the story. It's risqué, sure, but i don't think it said anything with its story. There's no message.A game about human exploitation and abuse for the sake of it. Fortunately I was able to beat it in one sitting.
As someone who grew up and is still in love with the movies, Uncharted scratched that itch pretty well, but this game rocks.
Troy Baker is a great Indy, and the humor, set pieces, and story/adventure feel like I'm a kid again, sick from school, and watching the movies all day.
My friend got this for me for Christmas, and holy shit. You gotta play this if you haven’t. Some of the most dynamic and in depth combat with a crazy amount of customization and strategy. And the story. Whoa. At first it felt pretty cliche, but the more and more I’ve played, with each and every new story beat revealed, the game continues to surprise and excite me. I’ve teared up a few times, and I’m only like 15hrs in, and I think like maybe halfway through the story? It’s also quite funny and silly, and selfaware. 12/10 would recommend
Stumbled upon a youtuber, Ambiguousamphibian, and he had some Rimworld videos that got me triggered so I had to go back to it. I played a bit in EA, a bit like 4 years ago, and then this time I installed a bunch of QoL mods and dove in. I've put like 16+ hours in in the last 2 days. Only regret is during the steam winter sale I didnt grab a DLC but god damn are they expensive even on sale. I had a really good first run until the game started sending in the mechs and 2 of the weakest ones straight smoked my run. Turns out the combat extended mod makes them fucking tough if you don't get some heavier weapons, which I did not. Second run I'm doing good as well but I'm kinda in the mid game and everything is going too smooth so I started a couple new runs.
I finally got my hands on RDR2. My first thought was that the game looks good but a bit outdated. Then I realized it was released almost 8 years ago. For all that time I've had this mental model in my head that repeats "I will play this soon while it's still fresh."
Anyway, I'm enjoying it a lot. The macho thing was a bit overwhelming at first and almost quit the game before second chapter but after I realized that the main ensemble of characters are gypsies and all of it just hit differently and now I love it!
The former is a boring game to 1-ALL because you can just bomb through it, but I'm routing it for a 2-ALL. Bombs increase the rank of the second loop, so you have to learn the first loop for real to not make the second impossible. The game requires some hard memorization for a shmup, but I'm having a good time with it.
I've gotten 3 endings in Silent Hill f, and I've been enjoying the game a lot more on Lost in the Fog action difficulty after thinking my first run on Hard was super boring. It's not my favorite in the series, but it's holding my attention and I prefer it to everything else released after SH4.
Man 0ppit looks cool and I almost pulled the trigger but decided to wait. I have a msi claw so Im glad to hear its solid on handheld. Next sale I'm gonna grab it.
Loving arc raiders and I don’t like trying out new games. Been playing Rematch obsessively the last few months and Arc has done a good job of pulling me away from it.
I currently have about 4 achievements left on Hades, just trying to find the time to grind those out before I start Hades 2! I may start a story game like Ghost of Tsushima or the Outer Worlds after I finish Hades
I'll been playing Farming simulator 25 the last two weeks, closing in on the point where I need to change over to something else, it feels like Factorio are up next.
Just finished It Takes Two, with my wife. Been playing Slay the Spire in little spurts of down time and have been playing through Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, for the first time, as well.
I’ll have to add A Way Out to the list! We also wanna play Split Fiction, and are about halfway through a play through of Blue Prince (but took a break from it for a bit).
Just reached div 6 on eafc26 just for the achievement.
Through sweat and tears. Almost lost my sanity facing these people. I’ve played until 4am yesterday and everyday for a couple weeks grinding this game. Glad it’s over.

Juggling DonPachi and Silent Hill f.
