So, my partner and I were making a salad in the kitchen one night, and they grabbed a glass bottle of caeser dressing from the fridge. We were idly talking, as one does, and they shook the dressing bottle while we chatted. Suddenly, the bottle inexplicably broke. A small ring of glass fell right off the bottom (some manufacturer's defect, surely) and instantly covered the entirely of the kitchen in the most incredible mess I've ever witnessed. A circular wave of oil and seasoning painted the kitchen cabinet, ceiling, sink and floor, peppered with shards of glass. My partner and I looked at each other, the stunned silence hanging in the air above our incomplete salad's catastrophe.
I collected myself and started cleaning. We used a couple of paper towels to pick up the glass. The bottom had broken off cleanly, the circle at the base had fallen right off it. I don't have a pic but I made an artistic interpretation of the incident.
The bottom fell right off. It wasn't supposed to do that.

Regardless of the subreddit it looks like a wave hit it. 😏
A chance in a million.
