But to us filthy westerners that dont understand a single word of Chinese other than Ni hao and bing chilling (we dont understand that one we just spam that word) it goes hard
New Left: Maoist China Reborn, Socialist Democracy or Loji
Revanchists: Communist Stratocracy, 1984-Style Surveillance State, Amoral Technocracy (ft. Unit 731) or Ultranationalist Dictatorship (especially the Confucianists)
Reformists: Multiparty Liberal Democracy
You can guess which ones are deemed the most interesting and/or wacky of the bunch.
I would love a path that uses this flag. Maybe when the military coups the government they go like: "You know what? Fuck the CCP!" (Way less outlandish than the empire path btw)
Lets be honest: As wholesome and nice as the Liberal path for China might be, it is just so out of character for the PRC not just post-1989, but also post Xi's rise to power with all the remaining reformist-leaning leaders such as Wen Jiabao removed from power one way or another.
Not to mention that the Liberals can only come to power if China's invasion of Taiwan fails, and Xi and his establishment Centrist faction get ousted by the military. The idea of the PLA's leadership EVER even considering handing power over to the reformist or the liberals is just unimaginable... Especially after the same PLA would have just been humiliated by the democratic PDTO.
100% should be in the game. I never got why the New Left can reform China away from the PRC and into a federation but the faction literally named the Reformists canβt
doesn't the socialist democracy path let you elect a non-CCP candidate in snap elections? and the party platformism path that keeps the CCP in power let you elect outright market liberals to leadership of the party? I get federalism is unlikely, but they seem to reform as much if not more than the New Left depending on the path the latter takes so I don't get why just give it to the New Left

Maybe when reformists become actually fun to play will we see more of them, honestly the focus tree is cool and aesthetically pleasing (quite more than any other even) but it's just not very fun, even Xi has more fun, New Left is pretty good and Revanchists are a whole other level, Reformists can't even change leaders until winning the GAW (which is excusable for Xi only, since he boss)
My favorite path is the centrist path because I can give my man Xi even more Aura

Death to Filipino Fishermen π₯π₯π₯
Soldiers who fought in the Long March were going to kill themselves when they saw the reformist path.
Imagine the soldiers who fought in the October Revolution seeing modern Russia lol
Yeesh, I know right !
Same can apply for soldiers who fought in WW2 seeing Russia under LDPR
Meanwhile, Japan hasn't made much progress in its agreements. It's always hilarious to remember that.

Where did you even find a gif like that?
Ppl only play the New Left for Loji...
Nah radical Maoists are fun
Most boring New Left path
How dare you say something so controversial yet so true
I did it for Loji and the democratic technocrats
Centrists: China IRL
New Left: Maoist China Reborn, Socialist Democracy or Loji
Revanchists: Communist Stratocracy, 1984-Style Surveillance State, Amoral Technocracy (ft. Unit 731) or Ultranationalist Dictatorship (especially the Confucianists)
Reformists: Multiparty Liberal Democracy
You can guess which ones are deemed the most interesting and/or wacky of the bunch.
Is there any where you can do workers self management for the economy?
Which one is the amoral technocracy?
Chen Wenqing's Scientist path.
Swinceball did play the reformist path, so at least we have that.
He played the Democratic Hu Chunhua path. That's different
I see, thanks for letting me know
that is new left not liberal :))
Personally I only play the Centrist Xi path. I will never lose to Japan as China lmao
Justice for my man Wang Yang, his path is cool IMO
Finally a fellow Wang Yang enjoyer
None above the Great Entity
None above Loji
Can your AI kill more Filipino fishermen violating the 9-Dash Line than Xi Jinping?

I doubt this flag has many fans in China as it's associated with the Warlord Era
They will learn how to appreciate peak by force if necessary
I'm going to destroy your revisionist ass.
Not revisionist, outright reactionary. Five races under one union flag is beautiful and i'm tired pretending it's not
Or maybe the Reformist could rebrand and use that flag
I LOVE REFORMISM CHINA I LOVE REFORMISM CHINA
Reformist rcckmt was genuinely peak I finished the campaign yesterday

My brother in Christ. This is TFR, realism was chucked out the window long ago.
Because liberalism is soy and cringe

Loji got to be tweaking when people watch porn or hentai on their phones
Loji sending in the secret police when someone searches up "rule34 Loji": *

Wang yang deserve rework in his economic focus tree and political one
Also please and PLEASE let me federalized china like this

This would so peak
This is what Deng Xiaoping reforms lead to
Capitalistic china would be so fun
100% should be in the game. I never got why the New Left can reform China away from the PRC and into a federation but the faction literally named the Reformists canβt
I mean it's mostly economic reform
And China doesn't really have a reason to become a federation given the historical baggage
doesn't the socialist democracy path let you elect a non-CCP candidate in snap elections? and the party platformism path that keeps the CCP in power let you elect outright market liberals to leadership of the party? I literally want Capitalistic china bro
Chinese federation should rise
Waiting for the reformist rework, unironically they are the path that I'm excited for the most.
wholesome loji over evil loji

No, I played only 1 China path and that was reformist path.
Most popular reform paths are the coup paths so
Maybe when reformists become actually fun to play will we see more of them, honestly the focus tree is cool and aesthetically pleasing (quite more than any other even) but it's just not very fun, even Xi has more fun, New Left is pretty good and Revanchists are a whole other level, Reformists can't even change leaders until winning the GAW (which is excusable for Xi only, since he boss)
Not me, my first China playtrough was the reformist
unless they allow the corpo overthrown path before GAW like loji path then I don't don't really find any reason to play liberal though ?
Whatβs the lowest part supposed to be? Whatβs the origin?
Freedom is like the air on high mountains. A weak man can bear neither.
Who even plays democratic paths in the base game let alone in mods
democratic paths in kaiserreich are great
Thats because you can still justify and often have wargoals in the focus trees
cause democracy is funny wholesome chungus 3000
