• Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.

  • She popped up like a daisy! LIKE A DAISY!!

  • She got lucky when flung out from under and then upwards without being crushed.

  • had to look a few times but i thought that was a person sitting on the front tire with their hoodie pulled over them checking the phone

  • Kinda looks like it would’ve been worse if she had a seatbelt on

There's always an extremely remote possibility but it's doubtful. Every bit of crush a car experiences is designed to avoid transferring force to your body.

However bad shape someone's in getting thrown clear, it's almost certainly worse than if they were in in it.. The fact that they're up and walking while the adrenaline from the crash hasn't worn off doesn't mean much for how injured they are other than confirming 1) they're not instantly dead, and 2) their limbs still are attached and working. They could be all sorts of bleeding or broken up internally and not feeling it yet.

This right here. They honestly may still not have survived this.

No ? The roof didn't cave in, the passenger compartment held like it's supposed to, only the crush zones took serious damage, but that's what they're here for.

The side window didn't break, so no deformation. Staying in place with the seatbelt on would have been way safer than getting thrown out and possibly rolled over by the car.

Nah they got the worst of both worlds tbh.

That's about as good as outcome as you can have for not wearing a seatbelt, but modern cars are made so that the cabin does not deform in such a way as to impact someone who is belted in to the seat (of course, there is always an amount of force that can overcome that, but it generally works).

They literally landed head first on the concrete.

  • Looks like that was a car in a previous life.

  • Points for the dismount!

  • She got up like what the fuck just happened.

  • Thrown out like a rag doll 😄

  • But they were safely thrown free of the accident. Tumbling around in the car could have hurt.

If she were wearing her safety belt, she wouldn't have been 'tumbling around'.

If you're strapped to the car are you not tumbling with it?

  • The crap pouring out of the trunk is indicative of ‘care’. I don’t know why but every woman I’ve ever dated has a ton of crap in the trunk. I guess baggage is baggage.

They're very lucky the car didn't keep rolling and crush them. It's safer to be wearing your seat belt the vast majority of the time.

Ever seen someone get thrown out of the car, but they don't quite make it all the way out before the car rolls over on them again?
Well, she was a fraction of a second away from that happening and I can tell you it's not a pretty sight.

That's how a friend of mine died, trying to push her car off as she was pinned between it and the ground, her body halfway out. She would had definitely lived if her belt was used.

She likely has severe injuries from that throw. Adrenaline is enough to keep her moving, but doesn't mean she's going to keep walking for long.

Cars are designed to minimize the impact on the squishy meat bags inside. The concrete she slammed into isn't. And this is after she got lucky to not get crushed by her own car first.

It was a joke. I say dumb stuff and my humor is quite dry.
