What if it's just one really irresponsible guy who won like $10 million lottery and bought one of these for ~$8 million to ride around it. This day he happened to park it under a land slide that filled the truck with rocks and shid until it dropped it like it's hot?
Most sites that operate equipment that large have an on site repair shop and at least a basic level mechanic on staff for regular repairs, and they call in the manufacturer service techs for major issues like these.
You take your Ford/Chevy to the dealer but for Caterpillar/Komatsu the dealer comes to you.
In almost all cases where you run these mid size Cat 77X haul trucks you’ll have 5+ full time mechanics who do it themselves. You really only “need” the dealer if you’re dealing with damage to parts of the rops/fops
Call the supplier, they'll send a whole rear axle setup. A competent pair of mechanics could have this going in a couple days as long as they have access to a crane.
Good job! It is the title of the repost! Could’ve gotten bonus points for also stating that it’s the title of the original post too, but it is what it is.
Nah, I'm overworked with burnout and I'm told the weekend is coming. So to you, Mr. Dump Truck, it's a short week and you'll have a couple of days off for the weekend 👍
I work with someone who owns a pair of uggs that are wearing in similarly
They must have a similarly sized dump truck
Funniest shit I read all day. I know a few.

If I would ever win the lottery, I would be that guy for sure.
Im that guy in a exponentially smaller scale. Sometimes ill get chicken fingers, the good kind, $8 bucks.
I bet if you came into money you’d pay guys $100 to fuck off
I'm mowin the air rand.
The loss in production is probably more costly than the repair itself.
5 bucks maybe
3.50…
At least 4
6 maybe 7
Slap some swangas on it and it would fit right in in H-Town.
Low miles, No low ballers I know what I got!

I noticed that as well, but one of them is looked and the other is looks.
Kinda stupid that we have two of them with almost the same name.
Where do you even go to get that repaired. Like you can't turn up at Dave n son's auto shop and be like "yeah can I get some new rear axels".
I think they can replace it on site
It's not like there's a choice. These things never leave site, they're built on site and remain there for life.

We run 775s at work and we haven't been able to staff up the shop after the 2 lead mechanics we had left. One retired and one died.

Jiffy lube
You phone the dealer and they send you the parts, it will probably be back working in a week
This right here is why you always check your Bachman Turner Overdrive.

Your comment is just the title of the post?

We gotta get the dirt dumped out first.
How does this ancient pic still get posted on Reddit weekly and get any action?
