the hardest part about using bee gun is launching terraria and opening the world. after that you click anywhere on the screen and the bees know what to do
I don't know what class you're using but if you're a fellow mage just trust in the staff of earth. Spam that bitch and wear some specter armor, you'll do alright. Just don't whiff your dodges/dash into him cuz he hits way too hard.
Thanks a lot! I think I need to make that armor - I noticed the staff of earth does good damage to him but I had been trying to use my minions to help. I’ll do more with less minions when I get back to the game.
Fighting golem took me so long I ran out of the things needed to spawn him in the chests. So I had to start farming, the lizard people who spawned in there to get them.(I don’t know if my sentence is super accurate. I haven’t played Terraria in a long time.)
All you would need is a weapon of your choice, the master ninja gear, and maybe a featherfall potion. (put a platform layer in the middle of the alter room going from wall to wall)
If you have enough space in the altar room to run back and forth a bit, you can beat golem. His fists are super easy to dodge, so the first phase is basically free.
I seen people beat golem with nothing more than a stick and a dream, I promise any improvement from this point is simply just micromanagement and minmaxing minor buffs like optimizing prefixes or buff furniture. The rest is on you to decide if you’re ready rather than your build
It's a small optimization that won't matter much for Golem, but if you're using a bow you'll want Shroomite Headgear. And if you're not using a bow, you can swap out the quiver for something like a sniper scope
everyone is here saying "if you can beat fishron you can beat golem" what they leave out is if you can beat plantera you can beat golem. I'll typically roll from the plantera fight straight into the golem fight without even refreshing my buffs.
I'd probably take off terraspark boots and switch it for a scope of some kind or a dmg increase, as golem doesn't need u to be on the ground, and you can just grapple if you're gonna run out if flight.
Id probably recommend swapping out the Worm Scarf. If you still want something more defensive Id try to get the Ankh Shield or Frozen Shield or get another damage accessory and swap a couple accessories to Warding
A Wooden Bow and Shiny Red Balloon are enough for Golem

Is a dungeon guardian considered a boss?
Nope. It's technically an enemy. If it was a boss, a health bar would appear at the bottom of the screen when it spawns.
Mothron is considered a mini boss and didnt have healtz bar on screen. It has 6000 HP in normal mode though

Am I the only one who had a hard time with golem? Him and slime queen were the hardest to fight for me
Same here, when I did my master mode run during the hard mode I only had problems with moon lord, the twins and golem. Fishron went down on first try.

Considering you’ve already beat Duke Fishron, yes. Fishron is much harder than Golem.
Just be careful of the room the altar is in - the generation makes it pretty small sometimes so it can get dicey.
Now I think my wings won’t do much work fighting him here it but Ty for the advice!!
Wings still help in his fight, even if you have platforms built in the arena

Mechanical worm is definitely harder than golem by far, same for the twins imo.
You just build a small platform in his room and he can't jump up there. It's only a few attacks to dodge and he's very easy to hit/pierce

You have Rod of Discord, right? That's very important for the Golem fight.
Golem is two bosses before the final boss. Both Golem and the Boss after, and complete jokes. Don't waste your potions.
