Not religious, kinda sucks especially because there’s no public transport in sabbath. Also the ultra Orthodox Jews don’t even need to join the army like everyone else and they get a shit ton of money for nothing, although that’s more of a shitty government problem.

In all seriousness, -20° C is roughly the point where recess is cancelled at the Christian school (we're homeschooled, but we go there for recess twice a week [4 day week], and for "homeschool day" bi-weekly). Above that, you don't really need a lot of layers, they make the layers better when they're made for extreme cold. Yesterday, we played ice hockey for recess, in about -11° C. I had gloves, a sweater[dumb coat makers don't make the inside soft], a coat, and snowpants [more for padding if I fell than for the cold]. I wished I had better gloves, a gator, and better socks. Everything else was fine.
