I've played 53 games, and I never had that augment! I need that augment for the Lorefinder thingy so I get the last things… but I never get it. I always play for Xin with rolls before the first augment drops (if the first can be gold), but it just doesn't pop up? How many games do I need to play to get it once and MAYBE reach top 4 as well? Am I just unlucky af?

    Very true. I have been offered it a dozen times now, but I am not touching it after getting top four with Zaheen. Meanwhile; that Viego augment is a free top 2 and I never see it. They need to nerf the shit out of it, I've never seen it not go top 2.

    Edit: I stand corrected. Mortdog heard me and gifted this augment. Two people also decided to pivot into shadow isles and contest me. We all got bot 4, because it was never going to go any other way. feelsgoodman.

    I play SI every time I open on Viego 2 and always top 4 with it. Level 9 board is 5 SI, Fiddle, Ornn, Braum, Azir. Carry Kalista and item holder Viego -> Gwen -> Fiddle. Can play Azir items instead if you get RB. Can play SI + Shurima swapping out some Wardens for Nasus/Renekton/Xerath if you hit Azir on 7.

    Don't force it. If I don't have Viego 2 by 1st carousel I don't play SI.

    With wardens, level 9 with 4 shadow isles (no viego), ornn, braum, fiddle sticks, seraphine, and loris. Have kalista and thresh carry with ornn or yorick tank. Have Gwen carry items mid game. Works good 👍

    I skimmed a guide here the other day where you go bilge 3/SI X, rerolling tf/yorik before levelling to slam thresh once you unlock him

    Apart from that, I kinda just wing it ngl, trying to itemize gwen or kalista as my carry

    Shadow Isles is pretty much an early-game board but if you don’t have Viego augment it’s pretty piss going into mid-late game.

    Yes shadow isles is viable, but you need to be the only person in it. It’s just vanquishers-wardens. Kalista, Thresh, Fiddle.

    Real, last time i got it, i knew its bait. I was quadruple contested. I didnt even care and just went 8th. But when someone else plays it, they get zaheen 4-6 with death dance

    Because the augment is simply bad.

    If you have a great xin zhao angle, it’s playable. But it doesn’t stabilize your board like baron or brock.

    You need a yone or yunara wukong 2 etc to stabilize.

    It’s a go 8th or top 4 augment which is just meh.

    It’s one of those things where nobody is rerolling Xin outside of this augment but if its gold or exp Ionia, half the lobby is holding 2* Xin if they can while playing for Yunara and aren’t selling him until 5-1.

    Or the extra attack aug with yunara being as strong as she is. If she gets hit next patch that aug gets better for sure.

  • I’ve played it twice in about close to 100 games. I BARELY squeaked by a top 4 getting bailed out by 3 Darkin which also is complete ass as well but in late stage 4 / early stage 5 you can cheese out some wins to restore HP for some time until you get completely handed to by max cap comps.

    Stage 4 zaahen feels a lot worse than stage 3/4 xin even with his myriads of bugs. Zaahen also doesn't respawn sometimes, once you get the top4 game just don't play it

    I've top 4'd everytime I picked the augment. You should be playing him with yasuo 3 star can buy neekos as well. They're both 2 cost so they help each other with shop odds as you're picking up other 2 costs

    Mainly to unlock Yone. Ran Zaahen with Slayer Emblem and Yone for 4 Slayer with Aatrox and Briar for a hotly contested first.

    Well, yasuo helps get xin quicker as you're removing 2 costs from the pool when rolling down.

    Slayer Emblem is basically a worst BT for stats as it only gives a 15% Max HP shield and 20 mana when you drop to 25%. I can safely say I won off Aatrox and Yone 2 doing the work in the Slayer comp.

    Nah, I got top 4 with him. It’s dependent on your other two augments as well, but it’s definitely doable

    Yup, had to roll way too much to get the 3 star Xin then bleed out while waiting for those 5 combats... Won 1 match and died to the top player. Finished 6th

  • First time I got it after a while of playing a few matches every day, I didn't unlock Zaheen and I placed 8th lmao. I was so sad. I got the augment a few days ago and I managed to get top 3 with Zaheen.

  • A bit late but if you're seeing this and want to complete the 40/40 wins:

    For Ryze, you can just take any top 4 game where you have 40 ish health and for 1 round field a random assortment of 4 traits (i. e. Void 2/Targon 1/Piltover 2/Yordle 2) and lose gracefully with a Ryze the round after. You don't need to force Ryze from the start

    Normal games have MMR too. I can tell my opponents are really bad now, if I make some half baked comp it's a free 100hp win. From previously seeing people with the chibi finishers, now everyone is using the common tactician or even the starter blue blob lol.

  • U need to have ionia or demacia units, that usually increases the changes of It appearing. Also, It is the first agument in the game, so if u know all aguments are prismatic or the first one, forget about getting him
