Taylor's bodyguards wear plain clothing, the most they've been seen is wearing a Chiefs hat. Travis has had a bodyguard assigned to him by the Chiefs for awhile now.
He just had surgery. They won’t put him on the sideline because in the event the play was going out of bounds, he couldn’t get out of the way fast enough.
I do love for like the people that don’t know anything about announcers like they reveal who the announcers are like halfway through the show lol . Like this is the first time I’m seeing them this game . And they do that quite often.
I’m from Denver, now living in Texas, and I have sworn to my husband that Denver screams Incomplete after every single Incomplete pass. They even light it up on a board (I’ve been to a game). To this day, my husband swears he can’t hear it. I point at the TV like “well!?!?!?!?l” and he just shakes his head No. Frustrates me to no end. Lol
So even though the Chiefs are eliminated, Chiefs can play spoiler to the Broncos for both the division and the #1 seed.
If the broncos lose, the Pats can take control of the #1 seed with a win.
ALSO, if the broncos lose and the chargers win. That sets up a winner take all for the division the broncos and chargers face eachother next week on the regular season finale for the division.
It’s rumored. Football fan always (I root for the Seahawks and listen to new heights, I’m a fan of the Kelce’s but would never be a fan of their teams) but the human in me hopes he retires, he’s getting older and I think he would have a really active post-retirement if he decides to retire. He’s also broken every record in the nfl, is a 3X Super Bowl winner and I don’t think he needs to go for another season.
Go Hawks! I’d honestly would be surprised if we went into the Super Bowl and won it this year but if we don’t get into the Super Bowl, I’m hoping the bills get into the Super Bowl this year and win it. I’ve been a hawks fan for years and had to deal with the heartbreak (still mad about Super Bowl 40, childhood trauma) of being a fan and I already saw a Super Bowl win and victory parade for the Hawks, I want to see Buffalo get a Super Bowl win and parade because they deserve one with a dedicated fan base and a great Qb. I honestly would rather see a World Series win for Seattle because the mariners deserve one and they worked really hard this year and I have hope that next year is the year!
Honestly I would root for the hawks over the bills if it came to that. I’m thinking we’ll make the nfc championship but I don’t think we’ll win it and get in the Super Bowl. If anything if hawks don’t get in, I would love to see a bears vs bills Super Bowl or an Eagles vs bills Super Bowl but we shall see what happens.
I was just on Twitter and saw some people who watched the new TK interview say they feel more sure he’s retiring and others saying it made them think he’s doing one more year lol
I wonder how much of this is contracts and how much of this is Travis actually planning to retire. Or how much of this is people thinking he will retire to spend more time with Taylor.
I don’t see him retiring on an off year, without a major injury. I think he will want to go out on top. It would surprise me if he retires this year… but if I were him, I would!
Agree, that’s why I said I would retire if I were him. But I’ve worked with professional athletes and it’s usually a very hard decision for them to retire after a bad year without a major injury.
Contract could play some role, because both sides would be in a bit of a weird spot. Kelce already plays one of the lower paid positions and isn't quite the player he used to be but is still very good. That and all the other things he has going on make it hard for him to justify taking a lesser deal because his talent and time are worth more, but the team is in a major transitional period and paying a lot for an older TE isn't really something they should be doing.
Im watching the game with my mom and I just saw Taylor show up! Tbh I'm rooting for the Broncos since the I'm a Broncos fan and it's a team I'll ALWAYS cheer for but my mom and I still cheering on Travis individually lol.

For a lot of folks deep into the rivalry, it also means true Chiefs might help keep the Broncos out of first place with a bye and home field advantage going into playoffs. (I think that means the Pats move up, and folks won’t like that either.)
But honestly it’s just pride for most of the guys still playing.
For the Chiefs, a lower draft pick which they would want a higher one to get a better player. So they would want to lose this for a better next season.
For other teams it means the seeding can change. Broncos have the 1 seed right now and if they lose other teams have a better chance to get it.
Nothing. They have this game and a game next weekend left and then the season is over for them. If they win, the only thing it will potentially affect is their draft position. That gets set by reverse record. As in the team with the most losses picks first, and the team that wins the Super Bowl picks last in the first round. So by winning, they’re potentially going to move down the order and draft later. So not much of an incentive to win other than just wanting to have a good game.
